Mission Topic: Guarding the Parade

The feudal lord of the land of fire was coming today in the
parade. The village found that he needed some protection of course because he
was a man of high power. Senba took the mission to be a guard at the parade. He
was surprised this was a D rank mission since it was an escort of a powerful
person in the land of fire. Senba did not fret though he was confident in
himself to guard him. He gladly accepted the mission with a smile. Senba,
before the parade, prepared himself just in case anything happened. He had his
katana strapped to his back along with his kunai holster on his right leg, and
his pouch on his belt. He wore his headband on his forehead and took off. He
arrived at the parade start; they were nearly done with the preparations.


The feudal lord seemed concerned so Senba walked up to him
and asked “Is there something wrong sir?”


The feudal lord was quite agitated but replied to Senba “I
do not like these parades I feel very unsafe being out in the open like this. I
wonder if the leaf even assigned a body guard.”


Senba replied “That is where I come in sir. The leaf has
assigned me as your guard.”


The feudal lord looked at Senba and laughed “You are just a
young boy.”


Senba tried not to take offense to it but said “Please trust
me. They entrusted me with your protection for a reason. The genin of this
village are very strong as you know.”


The feudal lord accepted this and the parade started. He
walked along side of the cart that the feudal lord was in. Senba’s head was on
a swivel scanning the area. This was not a long parade but it felt like it. The
entire village was there so even if someone did attack there would be other
ninja there as well. They were half way
into the parade and nothing happened. Senba was still not going to relax even
for their nothing to have happened up to this point.


The feudal lord chuckled a bit and asked “Is this your first
time escorting a very important person.”


Senba replied “Yes sir.”


The feudal lord smiled and said “You are doing well just
keep that calm look on your face and act serious.”


Senba kept that advice in his head until they reached the
end where more ninja were waiting to escort the feudal lord to a different area.
Senba sighed in relief and smiled.


The feudal lord said “You did well young one.”


Senba smiled and went on his way.
