Meeting In The Village {Private}
Sat Apr 20, 2013 3:23 pm
Kino was walking through the village. He had recently woken up from his nearly nine hour lasting slumber. He was dressed in somewhat simple clothing, a black, sleeveless shirt with the symbol of the Uchiha clan on the back, and dark blue pants which resembled jeans in a way. He was also wearing his headband, over his forehead. The symbol of Konohagakure was on a metal plate, which was on the headband covering his forehead.
Kino was walking tot he ramen shop, for some breakfast. Seeing as it was nearly eight in the morning, he was somewhat hungry. He had gotten lucky and managed to sleep in today, rather than being woken up by some random passerby who was assigning him a mission. He was in the mood for ramen for breakfast, something he often had, even though it had always seemed to be more of an afternoon meal, or a simple snack in between lunch and supper.
When Kino arrived, he had taken a seat. He looked at the menu, as the man who takes orders had came up to him asking what he'd like. Finding nothing better, he simply ordered the usual he got. He often has come to this ramen shop, after all. Nearly every morning when he is woken up to be assigned by a mission. Now, he would begin to wait for his ramen.

Hikarishi had woke up the yellow light just starting to break through the gray sky, and the clouds that hang in it. He got his things ready and began to shower, making sure he was clean before he stepped out and put on his clothes. He had picked out a black shirt and black pants with no form of clan crest on them, his clan clothes were dirty today and he had on his Genjutsu clothes underneath it all hoping to keep it hidden from sight.
He decided to go to the ramen shop and get a bite to eat it was still early in the morning and he did not feel like cooking. Quickly he scribbled down a note to Kyohaku Uchiha, his little sister, to let her know where he was going and the possibility of him finding someone to train with.
He no sooner then walked in and saw someone very familiar to him, the person who had given him his third tomoe in his sharingan, "Oi hey kino." he said as he sat down a seat away from him at the bar as the ramen guy came up to take his oder.
"Ill take the house special and some Hot tea please." he said and the man scurried off to complete the order. "So how have you been sensei?" He asked as he turned to kino wondering if his day was going good.

As he continued to wait for his bowl of ramen to arrive, he heard a somewhat familiar voice saying; 'Oi, hey Kino.' Kino looked towards the source of the voice. It was his student, Hikarishi. "Hey, Hikarishi." He said, replying to the boy. Hikarishi sat down, and had ordered some hot tea. He had a feeling the tea would arrive here before his ramen would. "So, how have you been sensei?" Hikarishi would ask. Kino turned over to face him, continuing to wait for his ramen, wondering how long ago he had ordered it. Perhaps ten, maybe fifteen minutes ago. "I have been well, I suppose. As well as any shinobi could be, considering what we're put through everyday." He said, referring to all the missions, and training they had to do to ensure the village's safety, to protect it. "Been training the three genin on my genin squad,, performing team missions, all that shit." He continued.
Soon enough a bowl was placed in front of him. "What about the fork?" Kino asked, usually there would be a small plastic spoon put in his bowl for him, instead of him having to get up and walk to the other side of the table. The man appologized, and grabbed Kino a fork.
"Anyways, how have you been, Hikarishi? Been doing any training lately?"

Kino had described a normal ninjas life, on full of missions and only the promise of death and usually at a young age. The ramen man had Kino his ramen and Hikarishi his tea but had forgotten Kinos fork, luckily for him he did not end up being killed on the spot for such an act.
Hikarishi had just started to sip on his tea when his bowl of ramen was placed on the table before him and kino asked ' How have you been? Been doing any training lately?" Hikarishi frowned at this point it had been awhile since he had done any training and he hated to admit it but he could feel his muscles getting a little bit puny. "Not as much as i would like to have done. My team still has no leader and i haven't been able to find anyone to spar with since the incident in the forest." He told kino not knowing if he had heard of Ousawas' death at the hands of Hisao and himself.
Hikarishi sipped his tea and began to eat his ramen when he asked "What about you Kino you been training with anyone other than your squad?" He knew that if you train too much against the same person then you don't gain as much experience from the fight.

He put the fork in his ramen, as he put his two hands together, palm on top of palm, his fingers aimed up at the ceiling. He was giving silent preys to his gods. He then picked up his fork, a few noodles were stuck on the sharp ends. As the noodles were lifted up, steam rose out from the bowl. The source of the steam was the remaining liquid juices from the water that was used to help flavor it, and boil them. He put the fork down, and sighed.
He began to listen to Hikarishi, as he replied to Kino's question. He hadn't been training as much as he would have liked to, it would seem. "Oh?" He said, right before the boy began to explain why. He still was lacking in a genin squad leader. Kino sighed, the lazy people of his generation, er, well, those generations before his own, seeing as his own generation were filled with genin and chuunin, were preventing today's children from being properly trained. This would result in a rise in mission failures, Kino predicted. "That's no problem, perhaps I can be your unofficial team leader and help your squad improve on their training some day." Kino said, as he picked up the fork to find his ramen slightly more cooled. Then Kino heard about an incident in the forest. This had sparked Kino's attention. He raised an eyebrow. "An incident, you say?" He asked, and began to look back over at Hikarishi. "What happened?" Kino said, slightly curious.

Kino had inquired about the incident, which had led to Ousawa Akatsuki's death, and the world outside seemed die to Hikarishi, his eyes became blank as the image of the boy in the fire came over him. The sky turned a grayish blue and the trees that had once held plenty of leaves became barren, of course all of this was in the mind of the young Uchiha. He quickly snapped out of it and began to explain what had happened.
"Hisao Ousawa Nero and I were out in the forest training, Nero had to leave but me and the other two continued on anyways, It happened so fast.....Hisao had used a fire jutsu on Ousawa as i was body flickering to Hisao, knocking him down and out for a few brief seconds, then the fire consumed Ousawa.......it was so fast that the boy didnt even scream....I tried to put out the fire using the earth around him........but it was no good all i did was wind up getting a heat rash on my face and arms...." He slowly drifted off not wanting to speak any more of what had happened so he attempted to change the subject.
"Since you and I have not been training like we want to how about we have a little spar?" he asked hoping his teacher would not ask more of what had happened that day.

He began to listen to the boy's story, at the same time eating his ramen. He had listened, the boy and supposedly a friend, if not than a simple sparring partner, had killed a boy. "Good job. Not being sarcastic." Kino simply said, congratulating the boy on killing one of his fellow shinobi. "Killing is a shinobi's job, after all." Kino said, may have been some fucked up support to give a kid, but it was true. Denying it simply meant the kid would have trouble doing it in the future, when he needed to. "If you don't get used to killing, and don't kill a target, could mean the death of you. Though that doesn't mean going on a comrade killing spree from now on..." Kino said, not encouraging the boy to run around killing every last person he could find.
Half way through the ramen, Hikarishi had asked if Kino would like to spar. "Later, perhaps." Kino replied, in a simple sentence. "perhaps when I'm done eating, or tomorrow." Kino said. "So, been doing any good missions lately?" he said, making conversation, at the same time eating his ramen. "Mainly ones that ended in success, perhaps?" He continued.

Kino had congratulated him on killing a ninja, a fellow village ninja at that, and it irked Hikarishi just a little bit. He found it strange, even though kino had explained that it was a ninjas job to what he had done which was kill, that some one of his stature would condone the killing of a friendly ninja. Kino continued on to explain that if Hikarishi didnt get used to it now that in the moment he would need to kill he could wind up being the one killed.
Hikarishi had been eating his ramen and sipping his tea, the world returning back to normal after kino had assured he had done no real wrong, he had taken a few bites and answered the question Hikarishi had asked by saying "Perhaps when im done eating or tomorrow." And he continued asking if he had been on any missions, particularly ones that ended in completion.
"No not yet, hard to do team missions when you dont have a leader." Hikarishi was making excuses, bad ones at that seeing how Genin could do up to D-ranked missions alone, he looked down and continued eating his ramen thinking of something to talk about but nothing came to mind at the moment. He thought of going and doing a couple of missions, either after the ramen or if Kino felt like it after the spar if they had one.

Kino continued to eat, soon finishing. "Well, let's go get to training, I guess." Kino said, leaving the bowl of ramen at the table. He got up, after paying of course, and wandered towards the training ground. "You coming?" He asked, as he continued to walk.

Hikarishi, after finishing his ramen and tea and paying for it, stood up and followed Kino to the training grounds. They arrived a few minutes later, Hikarishi saw a few things that he could use to his advantage, that is if he could ever get a shot in on Kino, there were logs strewn here and there and even rocks that were big enough for him to use. Hikarishi would stop as they made their way to the spot they would train at and take a defensive postion, holding his hands close so he could make a hand seal if needed. "Lets do this!" he would say as he activated his sharigan to help track if need be.
