Ayumi's first mission

Ayumi got out of the house in pure excitement. Since she became a genin, it has been almost 1,5 weeks and she was looking forward to her first mission. When she was finally assigned to patrol the wall of the village, she was thrilled. She packed 4 kunai, an explosive tag and a smoke bomb in her pouch and found her way to the village gate. She went near the 2 guards there and told them "I am here for the patrol duty. My name is Ayumi Uzuki.", they looked at her unconvincedly, probably because she was only 14 years old and she looked even younger with her height. She would scold them but she just wanted to start her mission so before they said anything she started walking to the left of the village gate. "Alright, I'm off, I'll meet you here!" She would walk near all the wall back to the village gate.

As she was patrolling with her eyes wide open for half the way, she was getting frustrated because nothing was happening. It was usually a good thing to avoid trouble but she wanted her first mission to be memorable. She suddenly heard a kid screaming from nearby, she started running towards the voice to see what is going on. The kid screamed once more, making Ayumi even more curious, she ran at full speed and arrived to see the boy just fell from the stairs. She quickly checked him to see if it was anything serious and realized the boy had his arm broken. Ayumi asked the boy what his name was and where his parents are and the boy replied: "I am Komo miss and I.. I live in the orphanage." Although she wasn't very strong, the hospital wasn't too far away so she quickly took the kid to her arms and took him to the hospital, after she was made sure he'd be ok by the people there she returned back to duty.

She thought about her parents during the rest of the patrol, although she made sure to keep her eyes open for any threats. When she finally arrived to the village gate, she didn't even realize how fast she got there, she was surprised to see those 2 already, her mission was over. She wrote a report near the guards' judging eyes about how everything was fine and informed about her small pause from the patrol to bring a kid to the hospital. She brought the report to the Kage and returned to the hospital to see Komo is fine and asleep. Ayumi left the hospital with a smile on her face, with the joy of saving that kid, this was certainly a first mission she would remember.
