After that Day (P,IO,NK)

Hideyoshi had woken up early in the morning, remembering what he had told Ayumi and quickly started to get dressed setting his black Gauntlet on his right arm. As he looked into the mirror his eyes had fluxed from hazel back to blue almost instantly, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Noticing his hair had also grown a couple of inches mean that it was also time for a hair cut, however that could wait until later. The small...well now growing bear Tibbers would stand up after stretching and walk over to his master and paw at his leg symbolizing the cub was hungry. With a small smile he would pick the bear up although he was getting a bit larger it did not bother him in the slightest. Walking down stairs he would immediately sense the sharp object coming at him and catch it before it came near his face. Smiling he would turn to his mother," Good morning to you too mother and that was faster than usual, everything okay," walking over to her and giving her a small hug.


Looking over to the calendar his smile would slowly disappear as he nodded," Oh today is the day father...passed away isn't it. Are we going to visit his grave later on today like always mother," her head would nod slowly as she began to go back to cooking. Sighing he would get what he came into the kitchen for, a large salmon and feed it to the bear as he petted it," Alright mom i am off...i will be back before it is time to go visit him," with that he would slowly walk past the bear who would take the remaining salmon and walk beside his master as they left the house. Looking at the clouds it had seemed like it was going to rain today, however if it did that just meant it was going to a somber day for him. Picking up his bear he would take to the rooftops and head to his destination to wake for Ayumi to show up.


It only took him a matter of minutes to land at the entrance of the Training grounds where he would slowly walk over to the tree and lay under it, looking around for a moment as he sighed and closed his eyes. Tibbers would lay on his stomach as the both of them enjoyed the cool air. If Ayumi were to arrive after this, Tibbers would be the first to notice although if he would let Hideyoshi know she had arrived was the problem.

The day they took off to rest with Hideyoshi, mainly for Ayumi's health, had gone great yesterday until they came back to Ayumi's place to find Tibbers' mess. She was in too good of a mood to let it effect her though, so she had sent Hideyoshi away and propitiated her uncle Gortak. She cleaned the house, although Tibbers was probably very hungry, he hadn't made that big of a mess. Her uncle was mainly angry about her leaving the house to a cub, to leave with a boy until late, without saying anything. Fortunately, Gortak was always very forgiving when it came to Ayumi, so he let the subject go before long.

Ayumi spent that night thinking about Hideyoshi and their commitment, they were officialy "girlfriend/boyfriend" now. She was lookin forward to meeting him next day, he just made her more cheerful and she was also lately becoming more comfortable near him. She woke up 12 hours later, with a healthy body and no sign of disease. It seemed like the hot springs really had helped her.

She took a shower, dressed up her usual attire, ate some breakfast and left the house. It was another beautiful day in Konohagakure for training, although she loved everything about yesterday, she wanted to go back to training as soon as possible. Training defined her, she was a determined girl and wouldn't allow many things get in her way.

When she finally arrived at the training ground, she walked under the tree Hideyoshi told her they would meet. He was sleeping with Tibbers on his stomach, the fellow was really showing its growth day by day. Ayumi slowly came near them, Tibbers was already awake, she would wake him by kissing his cheek and saying "Good morning" unless Tibbers did something funny first, as usual.

Tibbers simply looked at Ayumi and when she got close he would lick her face, not moving until she had kissed Hideyoshi. He would open his eyes slowly and would smile as he moved over to kiss her lips and smiled," Good morning Ayumi...i see he got to greet you first. So how are you doing today," he smiled as he sat up and Tibbers moved off of him and went to stand near Ayumi, his growth was now apparent.

Hideyoshi stood up and walked near Ayumi for a moment and felt her head," Seems like the hot springs did wonders for you...you seem healthy now," he would chuckle as he moved to hug her. For now he would talk to her for a moment until she wanted to spar or unless she wanted to go back to the hot springs. He would scratch his head for a moment until he sighed," How is your uncle doing Ayumi...i hope he wasn't too mad at Tibbers or me," he wasn't sad about it he just wanted to make sure.

Ayumi felt Hideyoshi's warm hand on her head, checking the temperature. "It sure was a success." she was not only *better* but also she was feeling great. She hugged him before she answered "Don't worry about him, he is just having a hard time at work lately, Tibbers' mess was barely a mess, he was just looking for something to be angry at. I talked to him and he is fine now." she smiled and pat Tibbers on his head, wondering whether he asked because he cared or he felt guilty about. She wanted to change the topic, Ayumi was beginning to be fine with talking about personal stuff with Hideyoshi but this was his uncle's personal life and she didn't want to talk about it.

"So.. are you ready for a spar? This time I will beat you for sure!"

Hideyoshi smiled and nodded as he moved his hand away slowly," Good to here Ayumi...now i know where to take you when you get sick now...," he would nod as she spoke of her uncle and looked to the little bear and back to her," Good to hear nothing bad happened, although i still owe you a dinner," he chuckled for a moment as he poked Tibbers in the nose, which in reaction he almost bit his finger in which he smiled.

Hideyoshi walked to the center of the training grounds and smile," Bring it on baby...been waiting for our rematch for a while and i am curious to see how much better you have become. Be warned this time i want you to go all out and i will do the same, of course no death blows...i don't want us both ending up in the hospital," he would look to his little fur ball and smile, the bear knowing what this meant went over to the tree and laid down to watch. The bear would study his masters movements as well as Ayumi's during the whole fight.

Once Ayumi had gotten into her stance and was ready, Hideyoshi would smile," your move Ayumi...i am looking forward to this," Although he would not use his gauntlet just yet, instead he would wait until the right moment and then surprise her.

"Alright, I will not hold back then!" she formed many big bubbles by extracting water from the ground, the river wasn't too far away but she was comfortable this way too lately so she didn't lose time. Since Hideyoshi gave her the first strike, she decided to go for her new jutsu that required a lot of hand seals. Water users are known better as defenders, those who believe best attack comes from best defence. But she was going for a big attack in the start of the spar. She thought he would probably not strike until 10th-11th seals thinking it is a normal jutsu and after he understood he hopefully wouldn't make it near her in time.

If he were to get there in time and attack her physically, she would stop performing and form a shield out of the bubbles to stop him. If not, she would then form all the way to 22th final handseal and create a giant powerful dragon with bright yellow eyes. Then, the dragon would charge Hideyoshi with full speed, an attack with this much speed and strength would be strong enough for a single hit knockout if Hideyoshi fails to dodge or block. This jutsu would take a substantial amount of chakra away from Ayumi.

Hideyoshi took a slow breath as he held his hand into the hair and smiled," Shatter...Curse Catalyst," the Gauntlet turning into a broadsword that he could easily swing with one arm. Smiling he would activate his awakening as his arms and torso began to slowly develop black and blue wisps. Now he would be faster and stronger as he lifted the sword up and threw it directly at Ayumi, watching the hand signs.

Now that the sword was in motion, Hideyoshi would not be far behind it running at a slower speed to see if she would deflect the blade. If she did he would jump into the air and grab the blade as it was being deflected and come down with and ax kick aiming for the shoulder. If this was blocked by her then he would quickly swing the sword down on whatever she blocked him with and propel himself into the air. Using the sword as a catalyst to channel his energy he would send a large wave of energy down just in case she had tried to stop him from moving.


For now he would sit into the air using the extra momentum from the energy blast to quickly observe his surrounding and also to make sure that he would know what he needed to do to avoid her and that damned water prison. For now he would use another wave of energy to propel him backwards to land near the tree where he would sigh and set the sword on his back," Looks like this is going to be one hell of a fight...get ready Corbinek," as he disappeared from his location to inside of the tree with no sound.

Ayumi would quickly stop her jutsu as she saw Hideyoshi throwing a huge sword, bigger than herself. She would both jump back to gain more time and create a shield in front of her in the same time with the bubbles. Normally she creates the shield in cylindrical form for a perfect defense but this sword was coming very fast and a hit would mean death for Ayumi. She focused her chakra to form a water wall just tall enough to block the sword.

She tried to use the water to push the sword back to decrease its speed but Hideyoshi was right behind the sword coming towards her, she had to get rid of the sword. She had no time to preserve chakra, she charged a big amount of chakra into the water to push the sword right back to him.

Hideyoshi jumped when she deflected the sword and this time attempted a kick to her shoulder from top of her she had no time to dodge it, those blue-black markings were obviously making him faster. She had to hold on until he went out of chakra no.. Chi. She let herself fall and brought the water wall up to stop his kick, she was now on the ground but at least managed to block him in the last seconds. He jumped again, Ayumi couldn't see where he was but it seemed like he paused. One more attack of that strength in such quick manner would probably break her wall. But now she had time to rest and counter-attack, she again took her stance, created more bubbles and yelled "Come on, is this all you got?"

Hideyoshi would hit the tree with his sword cleaving the branch he was on in half as he crashed to the ground and laughed," Oh no baby....i have more to offer you and your water heavens convergence....i have fought someone who has used the same jutsu on me, but you my dear hehe, your a bundle of deadliness," his smile could be seen through the smoke that he caused but now he would have a floating ball going around his body as he smashed it with the sword. Once it shattered 50 five inch needles would spiral around him," Hope you can dodge what you can't see," as he flicked his wrist and the needles flew at her at 40 speed. They were grouped to surround her entire being and converge on his signal, which would soon occur as his hand came down.

At this moment he would speed to her left and watch what she does closely. Having needles strike from every position would have to be taxing on her, but for now he would watch her. If she retaliated and shot them back, he would use the sword to slice the needles or the attack she used to nothing as he smiled," come on Ayumi do better."

Ayumi saw a floating ball turn into lots of needles, it was the same technique she lost against last time, but she was out of stamina back then. She again used the bubbles she just created, but this time to make a cylindrical shield, she wasn't sure whether she could stop so many needles coming towards her with such speed, also the top of her defense was less protected so she would probably need to block those with her kunai or dodge them.

She focused on her shield and tried to slow the needles down, each one of them came in the shield at around the same time, Ayumi couldn't move the water from one place to another for better protection, the needles were coming from everywhere. She managed to stop most of them with her water shield and her kunai when one needle got her from the top as she was too concentrated in the water shield too much so she couldn't dodge that one. This resulted in her losing concentration completely and she got hit by 4 more needles, although slower ones, they still damaged her pretty bad.

Ayumi fell on her left knee first, "I will not lose to this again." she said with a low voice, she started to stand up slowly only to fall back to both her knees. Hideyoshi trusted her strength, she couldn't just let the spar end yet. She got back on her feet once more, this time for good. "Is this... all you've got?" she smiled and created even more bubbles than last time. This would be her final stand in this spar, she was getting low on stamina and chakra again but she guessed Hideyoshi couldn't be doing so well after using all those techniques either. "I should not give in yet." she thought to herself.
