Dante's First Training [NK, Solo] Empty Dante's First Training [NK, Solo]

Sun May 12, 2013 5:19 pm
It was a misty day in the village of Skyscraper. Dante Uzumaki, an Uzumaki clan member, as his last name suggests, was just sitting on a chair in his boxers, his feet on the table in front of him. He would have been wearing nothing on his upper body, except for a necklace that was left to him as a legacy from his father. Him still keeping the necklace was more than a little bit ironic though, since he claimed he hated his parents. Perhaps, something has changed when they turned out to be deceased, killed by ninja from the village hidden in the leaves. Yes, his parents were killed by the guard of the former Fire Nation Capital. Both his mother and his father were B-Rank missing ninja. They have also trained Dante to be one, but Dante didn't even know why his parents have turned out to be such people, who had a such grudge against the one village that seemed so innocent from the outside. Maybe there was something wrong with his parents and maybe the village was not that innocent after all. But still, Dante thought he at least deserved to know why they were always on the run. Anyway, at least by the looks, Dante was now fine with it. He had found the way to his inner peace.

His gold eyes would have glanced to the outside, through the window that was right in front of him. It was a lucky day, that nobody living in one of the buildings in front of the window was out, or they could have seen Dante in his blue boxers, which would have ashamed him so badly, he might have needed to leave the one village he was at the end getting used to. He would have watched the mist move through the air, and even enters his room. There was no sign of where the sun could have been in the sky. Dante would have once again looked at the mist outside, this time deeper in thoughts, "Sometimes, even the clouds need to come down from the heavens to the ground in order to rest..." Dante would have thought to himself. "Mmm... I should write that down somewhere...". Looking around, he wouldn't have found any notebook to write the phrase on, nor any pen to write it... "Later, I guess..." he would have thought to himself once again. "Anyway... With the day not being too sunny to attract my attention into the beautiful nature, I suppose I can use the spare time I have today to train... I should at least become worthy of becoming a Genin, even if I do not graduate any time soon, which I suppose will happen anyway...". Dante would stand up from the chair which he has been sitting on for quite some time now.

He would have looked around to spot the few pieces of clothing he usually wore. It would have taken him quite some time to do that too,not because he was too slow with his actions, but because he was so untidy, finding the pieces of clothing took him almost an hour. There were clothes, papers, books, etc. Everywhere... He couldn't even be sure where his bed stood, half of the room being filled with these "garbage" (only because of the untidiness; otherwise there might have been stuffed in this mess more valuable than Dante could have guessed). So, soon after he got into his clothes, he would have gone to the restroom, brushed his teeth and washed his faced, as he would have then left the house to head to the training towers, with of course one goal in his mind for the day: to train.

On the way, he would have seen a shop that sold interesting items, such as clocks, notebooks, and such. Well, they weren't the least bit interesting for most of the people, but Dante wasn't one of them. He hadn't seen a pocket watch before in his life, until he had joined Tengakure. He has lived his life on the run with his missing-ninja parents. He would have stopped in front of the shop and he would have looked through the glass that separated him from those "interesting" inventions. Dante wouldn't have been able to overcome his urge to enter this magnificent shop, so he would rush through the door to see what could have been inside. Dante would have entered the old-looking shop, that consisted of 5 equally big wooden walls, and a perfectly pentagon-shaped plain roof that was 5 meters high from the ground Dante would have stepped on after walking down the stairs consisting of only 3 layers, that started right where the door was, so Dante assumed that the ground of the building was lower than the street that he had came from through the door.

Dante would take a few short, steady but slow steps forwards, not changing his direction slightly, while his head would be moving with a much greater speed than his feet, trying to see every single thing that could have been seen in the shop. "What gorgeous items..." Dante would have thought to himself. There were pocket watches (as mentioned before), and other kinds of "usual" things in unusual ways. Dante has probably seen hundreds of different swords before in his life, in many different types; katanas, kamas, hooks, etc. But the ones he had seen in the shop were just magnificent. They weren't like any sword or sword-like weapon he has seen before. "Can I help you ?" would an old male voice had said, "What are you searching for, young fellow ?".

"Hi.", Dante could have hardly said, his breath having been taken by every single item he has seen in the shop. "Ummm... Hi.". This time, he would have smiled, shaking off his shock, taking a deep breath to become able to talk calmly, "My name is Dante Uzumaki, a heir of the Uzumaki clan, as my name would suggest, and I am currently a student at the ninja academy. I was in fact headed towards the training towers, well, a specific one of them; when I came across this shop... It drew my eyes to itself. I was stunned. I must say, these are unlike anything I have ever seen...". The old man that was standing in front of Dante would have seemed like he had been honored by the academy student's words. "Thanks." he said, "So, I assume you won't buy anything, at least now ?". "Unfortunately not..." Dante said, "I must first start earning some money. Some real money. With the salary I get as of now, I can barely live by myself. Oh... But... Ummm do you sell notebooks ? And perhaps a pen ?". The man would have smiled at Dante. "Well, kid." he would have said, while he would take out a notebook and a pen, both of which looked as different as the rest of the items in the shop. The man would have kept talking, "Here you go. This pen is my own design, specifically designed for ninja, or people with the potential to become one. When you infuse your chakra into it, it turns you chakra into ink, and you can write using that ink.". Dante would have been amazed by the words of the old man. "That sounds... Amazing." the Uzumaki said, "How much ?". "Both ?" the man asked, "100 ryo.". Dante would have taken out 100 ryo from his pocket and given it to the old man, as the man would in return give the notebook and the pen to Dante.

"Thank you." Dante would have said, heading out of the shop right afterwards, him having decided it took him long enough to reach the training towers already. While he was passing the door he had opened already, the man would have spoken once again, "Also, kid. If you want to find yourself a job, I have an empty spot for an apprentice. If you're interested, you should come by later, and I will see your abilities as a blacksmith.". "I will think about it..." Dante would have said, "Thank you, and have a nice day.". he would have then gotten out of the shop in the end. "Blacksmithing ?" Dante would have thought to himself, "Well, as a ninja, I will be going out of the village often. But blacksmithing might be a great hobby, and a great job for the time I will spend within the gates of the village.".

He would have exited the shop through the door he had entered it in the first place. He would start walking towards the training towards. After some minutes, he would have finally reached the one tower he had chosen to train in, even before he had left the house. Anyway, he would have entered the tower through the old door. He would spot the stairs going upstairs, which was where he was headed in the first place. Dante would have jumped the steps twice at a time in order reach the top as soon as he could. After mere minutes, he would have reached the place he was headed to: one of the tallest towers there was in the viilage, but that was not the most important cause Dante chose this tower to train on. The main reason was that from the top of this tower, not only the whole village, but even the country borders, which didn't mean anything any more, seeing as each village was now a part of the Fire Nation. "The stories..." Dante thought to himself, "About the history of the shinobi world... If they are all real, then we are living in a hell of a world, needless to say we are living among legends... I have heard many things about Konoha shinobi and what they have achieved in the past... Well, I assume Konoha was always a bit more developed than the rest of the villages, the shinobis originating from the village hidden in the leaves being at least a little bit stronger, since the village was the first village to be found by the scattered clans. Anyway... Thinking is not what I am here for...".

"This place..." he would have kept thinking, "is great for both thinking and training, but today... I am here only for the training part, as there is not much I should think of, as of now. Anyway, let's no more spend time on thinking and thinking, and let's start the training then...". Dante would have then realised what he has bought the notebook and the pen. "Oh right !" he would have told himself, taking the notebook and the pen out as fast as he could, and write the phrase, "Sometimes, even the clouds need to come down from the heavens to the ground in order to rest...". He would have looked at the phrase for some seconds, and then he would write another phrase underneath; "There are such times when even the most angelic beauties of the nature need to step down from their heaven to the level of the imperfect...".

"Yes..." he would have thought to himself, "That sounds even better. And now I can truly start the training, giving it my whole concentration.". Only then would he have realised the salesman standing behind a portable bench, on which there were many books being displayed. The bench and the man would have driven his attention once again away from the training. The Uzumaki clan member would have then gotten up from the ground to get closer to the bench used as a stand to display the books. "Hi." Dante would have said, the man answering with the same word, "Hi.". Dante would have then started looking at the books being displayed on the stand. He would have repeated some of the titles of the few books that didn't interest him at all, some of which he even found funny, "A dragon's oath, three Genin and a Big Bad Missing-nin, How to survive in the desert with nothing but a pipe for 2 years..." until one book would have finally interested him.

The book seemed dusty and old, perhaps it was even from ancient times, telling the stories or myths of people that lived before the eruption of the supervolcano... Perhaps... Dante would have taken the book and read the title that wasn't written on the front cover, but the first page of the large book containing many pages. Dante would have read the title, and repeated it several times in his head, "A spiralling sphere and one thousand birds... A spiralling sphere and one thousand birds... What could it mean ? Is this really a story about the ancient times ? Perhaps the "spiralling sphere" is the nickname of a hero that fought against an army of 1000 men, that were represented by a type of bird.... Anyway, perhaps I should read what is inside...".

Dante would have turned the pages to find out that the book was actually ancient, but also the fact that it was not a story book at all. It was a book describing, telling the stories of, explaining, and representing two ancient techniques, known as "Rasengan", the "Spiralling Sphere"; and "Chidori", "One Thousand Birds". Dante would have been surprised in a good way, becoming slightly happier, a slight grin taking place in his face. Dante would ask the man how much the book costs, pay the price and leave. He would exit that certain training tower, and would enter a different one, once again going upstairs to reach the top. "O.K." he would think to himself, "It is time to train, even though I am really interested in reading the book.".

The Uzumaki clan member would have then walked towards the many training dummies standing in front of him. He would have started attacking the training dummies through any means he could, he would punch one, move on to the next, kick it, taking strength from this kick to jump towards the other one and attack it with the inner side of his elbow, doing the move called "Lariat" by Taijutsu specialists. He would, when he would have fought the training dummies for some hours, start running around to make his body more fit, and more used to running fast, so when he would join a spar or training with other people, he wouldn't have necessarily been that slow.

By the end of the day, he would have been training for 6 hours straight, his body feeling both extremely tired and satisfied. "This is it for today..." he would have thought to himself, "Now I will go back home and read... Just read...".
