Aneki and Otouto (P, NK)

Kirameki sat on a bench, counting up the ryo in her pocket. The 14-year-old had been on a leisurely stroll through the streets of Suna with her leopard, Yukihana, when she came upon an ice-cream cart. Seeing her favorite flavor, she knew she just had to get some. “Ten ryo, enough for two cones. Awesome!” she said. “But the line is long now… I’ll wait a few minutes.”

Kirameki twiddled with the ends of her crimson hair, her tail tapping a little beat against the seat. She was in the same clothes she had worn to Funka-  a light brown, baggy, short-sleeve with darker brown stitching, a dark brown skirt, dark brown leggings that came up to her mid-thigh, and her average black boots and black shoulder-strapped pack.  Her Suna forehead protector hung proudly around her neck. Yukihana sat down on the ground beside the girl and rested her head in the girl’s lap, closing her eyes in content. ‘Happy Kirameki’ thought Yukihana. ‘Good Kirameki’

'So.. hot' Kojin thought. He didn't have a big problem with the heat but sometimes it just bothers him. The dark haired boy observed his surroundings and noticed an ice cream cart. 'Yes! Cool, nice, tasty ice cream!'. He quickly made his way over to only to notice the line. It seems like he wasn't the only one hot today. "Woah!" Kojin exclaimed. There was a cat, a giant cat, on a girl's lap. She had pretty crimson hair and cool blue, pupiless eyes. What he noticed the most were her cat ears and tail. 'Oh cool! I wonder what it's like having a tail. I always thought having a monkey tail was cool, maybe it's the same thing'. "Hey, you!" Kojin yelled as he walked over to her.

Kirameki looked away from the line to see a young boy with spikey black hair and cerulean eyes walking strait towards her. But, unlike most of her everyday encounters, she didn't run away or act shy. Kids were generally nice to her, and some even called her 'Pretty Lady' or something to the effect. And in return, she adored the little kodomos, often spending hours during her walks just playing with them.

So Kirameki flicker her tail and smiled widely. She held up a hand and waved to the boy, who looked no older than eight or nine, and said cheerfully, "Hey there!"

"I know this is a bit random, but I have some questions for you!" Kojin said as he made his way to stand in front of her. The dark haired boy then sat down with his legs crossed. He pointed his finger to her tail, "What's it like having a tail?" Seriously, the experience must be cool. If he had a tail there would be so much things he could pull off! "And how did you get such cool eyes? I've never seen someone with eyes like yours." He asked, grinning. Yes, all this was very new to him.

Since the kid was young, she decided she shouldn't be offended. And even if she wanted to, she couldn't. He was a cute kid, like a little brother who, if he was yours, you would want to squeeze into a bear hug the second he got out of school. So she answered his questions. "Hm, well, I never really thought of it like that... How do I explain it.... Having a tail is like... uhm.... having a tail...? I mean, I've always had it... what's it like not having a tail?" she said, giggling a little. "And for my eyes, well, that's because of my bloodline. It's called Kurisutaruai, also known as Crystal Eyes."

The grin on Kojin's face grew a bit. "Wow! You have a bloodline? I wish I had one, they are so cool." He heard of clans like the Hyuuga and Uchiha having those but this was something he never heard of. "And not having a tail is sooo boring! With a tail you can do so much! Hey, have you ever tried tapping someone on the shoulder with it? It would be a funny trick!" The young boy rushed. He soon felt the strong urge to touch it, but didn't. She probably would be mad if he did. So instead he turned his attention to her leopard. Kojin carefully moved his hand to pet her head. 'Hope she's nice' he thought.

"Well, I don't usually play tricks on people with my tail; Most people don't like the fluffy thing as much as you seem to. And Bloodlines... Yeah, I guess they are pretty cool, huh?" she smiled. "Speaking of my fluffy thing, you wanna pet my tail?" she giggled, moving her tail to brush the tip under Kojin's nose.

Yukihana opened one eye lazily and looked at the boy. 'Boy human. Little boy human. Cute boy. Boy pet me.' Yukihana thought and pushed her forehead into his palm. She then rubbed her cheek along his arm and then rested her head back on Kirameki's lap. 'Boy is marked. Boy is mine now. My little boy human.' She thought, her lips stretching into what could only be called a smile.

Kojin felt her tail touch his nose which caused him to chuckle a bit. "It's like you read my mind! I wouldn't be surprised if that was part of your bloodline." He said. With the hand he used to pet Yukihana with, he lightly touched her tail. 'Well it's nice to know her pet likes me. Hey, wait a minute. Did I even...' "How rude of me, I didn't even introduce myself! For some reason that always slips my mind. My name is Kojin Manashi what's yours?" The young boy asked, still lightly petting the girl's tail.

"The Kurisutaruai isn't that great, but it's pretty cool, literally. It gives me access to the cold Flames element, but I only have one jutsu for it so far," she said. She chuckled a little as he pet her tail; It tickled. After the boy had introduced himself, she did the same. "Kojin... That's a nice name. Mine is Kirameki Yokoshimana, and that lil' kitten over there is Yukihana!" she smiled. When she said 'lil' kitten', she motioned with her tail towards her leopard.

The young boy fanned himself a bit, getting a hot from the blazing sun. Cold Flames Element? This girl was really interesting, he never heard of something like that before. Still, it only made her cooler! 'I'll ask her later if she's ok with showing me what it looks like' He thought "Kirameki and Yukihana, huh? It's nice but it's also really long... Is it ok if I call your leopard Yuki and call you Kira?" Kojin asked. His eyes started to wonder back to the line. It seemed to be a little shorter than before, but not short enough for his taste. 'I'll just wait a bit longer' He thought as he put attention back to Kira.
