[Solo] Training

Mugen started the day trying to wake up. He felt exhausted even though he was just laying on his bed. He wasn't feeling so well because he couldn't sleep last night. Since the beginning of the month he was having the same nightmare about his parent's death. Last night was not different. He saw the same nightmare again,it was a dark and rainy day, there were rival shinobis outside the house. Mugen's father saw the shinobis coming and ran into Mugen's room. Mugen was in his room sleeping as usual. His father woke him up and said ''Son listen to me closely you need to hide,hide and do not come out until I tell you to do so, do you understand?''. Mugen looked at his face, his father looked desperate and scared. Mugen did as his father said. He hid under his bed. He saw his dad with a kunai in his dad, he started to feel scared. Two shinobis broke into the house. Mugen saw his father fighting against them for a minute he thought that his father was going kill them but the shinobis dodged his attacks and and cut Mugen's father's and mother's throats. Mugen felt worthless and weak at that moment. He knew if he was more powerful he could've saved his parents. Then everything disappeared Mugen woke up in his bed.

He felt the same again, he felt worthless and weak, he wanted to get more powerful as soon as possible. He prepared his equipment and went to the training field. The place was silent and cold. He thought it was a good weather to meditate. He sat down under a big tree and started to meditate, he focused on his chakra but his meditation was disturped by a vision. He saw his death parents for a second. He couldn't think of anything else, all he could think about was becoming stronger. He got mad at himself for being weak, with anger he punched the tree. When he punched he felt like some of his burden was simply just gone. He punched the tree again felt the same way. He lost his logic for a while and kept punching the tree he thought that he would be free of his burden if he destroyed it. He made the tree a symbol of his loss. It took him six minutes and a bleeding hand to realise that punching the tree won't solve anything. He fell down miserable, he was crying he felt like he wasnt powerful enough to destroy a tree. How can a man become a great shinobi if he can't even defeat a plant he said to himself.

He decided to train his shadow jutsu for a while. He started with catching squirrels as usual but after a while he got bored and wanted to try something harder. He lookep up in the sky and saw the birds. ''Can I catch flying stuff?'' he thought. He located the shadow of the eagle. He focused at his chakra and the shadow of the eagle. It all happened in a second his jutsu caught the eagle's shadow because Mugen caught the eagle but since his technique stopped its body movements entirely so in the end it couldn't fly and started to fall. Mugen started to move his arms up and down so the eagle can stay in the air. But he forgot to think about one thing. He looked ridiculous. He felt good because there weren't anyone who can see him. He said to himself ''next time I catch something I'll just let it fall.''. So he did he started to catch birds that were flying low so when they fall they wouldn't die. Mugen was never a fan of killing but as a shinobi he knew he always needs to be ready to kill. That was something his dad taught him. Never kill someone unnecessarily but always be ready to kill. Mugen never took his father's word seriously but after years of experience taught him that his father was right about everything.

Mugen came up with a brilliant idea. He grinned. He used the transformation technique to transform himself into a snake-like humanoid figure, which would be able to move as a human and even further. His body would now of course be more flexible. He would then use the Shadow Imitation Technique to catch one of those birds he had seen and then... He bended his leg 360 degrees. The bird would have done the same, and its leg of course, not being anywhere near the flexibility of Mugen's transformed leg; would break from countless points. The bird would screech. That would be a waking call for the Nara. He would have realised what he did and how... Wrong it was, by many levels.

He felt guilty for a minute but after all these years he felt powerful. It was just an eagle maybe but he felt like he accomplished something and he didn't feel like that in years. He realized something his father never taught him. Power was rewarding, it made a man feel confident and better. He also realized that control was power, hitting that eagle wouldn't make him feel powerful but forcing the eagle to break it's legs, that control over the eagle make him feel like a god. .After this ''accomplishment'' he turned back to his human form and started to walk  to his house. While walking along the way he looked at the world in a whole new way he saw animals and thought about his power he knew that he could kill them without breaking a sweat. After a while he started to think the same think about the citizens of the village, how defenseless and weak they were. Now in Mugen's eyes weak people were nothing more than ants or any other animal, at that moment he stopped caring about the things his father taught him. His new motto was ''Power is the only thing that matter and power can be gained by control.''. While thinking about these he realized that he reached his home. He entered his house washed his face and changed his clothes. When he went to his bed he knew that he won't have nightmares any longer.
