Kiwoharu's Genin Exam
Wed Aug 14, 2013 12:54 am
After a few days of focused training, Kiwoharu was certain he was ready for today's exam. He walked into the room calmly before sitting at his seat. He made sure he had the hand seals fully memorized, briefly reviewing them while he waited for the proctor to arrive. He hoped this would go well. It was either that or he'd have to wait until next time.

A loud crash could be heard from the window on the right side of the classroom as the silver haired proctor flipped into the room, landing by the desk located in the middle. His attire was that of a chuunin and his head band was covering his left eye," alright let's get these exams started...now lets see," he rummaged through the desk looking for the clipboard with all of the names on them. After spending two minutes finding it he laughed for a moment then cleared his throat," Ahh okay Kiwoharu Kimishima, come forward and begin your genin exam, good luck and above all try your best," giving the boy a thumbs up he would sit the clipboard down and wait for the boy to finish.
[alright do 800 words on the Henge and Bushin techniques, also throw in some words on the cool looking proctor]

He looked to the window on the right side of the classroom as the proctor flipped into the room. Kiwoharu let a somewhat amused smile slip onto his face. This one certainly knew how to make an entrance. He spent the two minutes between the cool-looking proctor arriving and finding the clipboard continuing to practice his hand seals.
Ram, snake and tiger in sequence would be what he needed for the clone technique right now. With a higher level of control he might only need the last one eventually. Dog, boar and then ram would be needed for the transformation technique.
Each hand seal needed to direct his chakra in a certain way. When he was more proficient in the ninja arts, he might not need as many of them, and some techniques might even be performed without them.
Once his name was called, he stood up and walked to the main space of the classroom, where the techniques were always tested. He made sure to get a good look at his proctor, examining him in detail from where he was before getting started. He wouldn't be able to reproduce the man perfectly just yet, but the illusion would be enough to pass, at least. That much was all he needed to get to genin, besides the clone technique.
Kiwoharu began with the transformation technique. This technique was used for infiltration or other purposes, including surprise attacks. He focused his chakra as he began with the hand seals, calm on his face as he did each seal in sequence, ending with ram and holding it. The chakra in his body flowed outward, in a controlled manner.
In a brief cloud of smoke he transformed, taking on the features of the proctor as best he could. Silver hair, chuunin attire, and his overall height and facial structure were successfully copied, but somehow the headband had ended up over his right eye instead.
He noticed this and released the form, attempting again, this time his hand seals were slower, but apparently more controlled. This time he managed to have the headband over his left eye, and looked mostly like the proctor, though with his skill there were still discrepancies, mostly in the area of not looking quite as cool as the proctor.
He gave almost exactly the same thumbs up gesture toward the proctor, stating in a fairly close copy of his voice, “Good luck and above all try your best.” He then rolled to his left before getting up and releasing the technique. He returned to his normal appearance in a similar small puff of smoke.
Next up was the clone technique. For this, he started with the ram hand seal, then the serpent, then tiger. This focused his chakra in such a way that two intangible copies appeared next to him, holding the last hand sign as well. They both mirrored his actions perfectly. Due to this, they were mostly useful for confusing an enemy. “So.” He started to move around, passing through the clones like he was planning on playing a game of ‘which cup has the item under it’ with his clones. “Which one is the real deal?”
He knew there were a few ways to tell clones made by this technique from the original, even with normal eyes. They didn’t leave shadows, nor would they disrupt the area around themselves with their movement, as they were entirely intangible and incapable of affecting the world.
In addition, the clones could not perform any techniques. Shadow clones could, but those were above his current level. Just making one might kill him. Better for now that he learned the basic techniques before taking anything like that on. He continued to wander between his clones before he stopped. The real him was somewhere around the two clones, but which one he left a mystery for now. He couldn’t maintain this technique for too long, though he could do it again afterward. Once he had waited a bit, he decided to do some other things with the clones. Just standing around was boring.
Kiwoharu proceeded to approach the walls of the classroom and start climbing them. However, his clones couldn’t follow, since they lacked substance or chakra, so once they reached the wall, they made the same motions, but didn’t go anywhere. He wasn’t really being tested on this technique, but it was good for his chakra control to practice it. He briefly hung off the ceiling, his clones now sitting upside down, before dropping semi-gracefully to the floor. His clones were now standing around him and no longer hanging upside down. At least they hadn’t dissipated on coming in contact with the wall.
He walked back to the middle of the classroom, his clones following, mirroring his movements on either side of him. He believed he had shown pretty well how much he had studied these techniques. Facing the proctor again, he released the technique, the clones fading and disappearing.
“That was good, right?” He asked after a brief moment. Hopefully that was enough, and he would receive his headband soon.

The proctor gave the boy a thumbs up and tossed him his new Kumo head band with a smile," Congratz kid you passed now go on out there and make Lady Raikage proud."
