A solemn event [P, NK]

And so it was that Gilgamesh Uzumaki stood outside of the living quarters of his leader, Xuro Bakuton. Knocking on the door, the body of Nero Goka was slung over his shoulder as long as the possessions that he was carrying on his person. Many thoughts ran through his head that he could not answer entirely as he had never been close to anybody, but he could tell that his friend would be close to this man, after all, if you shared leadership and had no signs of anger then you could not bare ill towards him.. Hoping that the leader would take it in with a pinch of salt and not all out go ham on Gilgamesh, he merely awaited his arrival to be noted.

Xuro bakuton was at home just chilling out when suddenly there was a knock on the door. He would walk casually to go open it. "I wonder who could that be?" Xuro thought to himself. He opened the door to witness Gilgamesh standing before him with someone on his shoulders. It looked like Nero but what was going on? Why would Nero be on Gilgamesh's shoulders? Was he sick or fainted or something? Or was this a trick?
"Uhh... What is it Gilgamesh?" He would ask confusingly...

"There has been an.. incident. I was unable to react in time.. I am sorry." He knew that the man was a member of the group he was in because he wore the cloak, so he simply lowered the man towards the body of Xuro, an evident slice across his throat. "The man that commited such atrocities was dispatched with haste.."

Xuro's eyes bulged out when he heard Gilgamesh's words. Was it for real? He stared helpless at the dead body of Nero before him. Was this a joke now? Was it a trick? Another illusion of Gilgamesh's?

Xuro wouldn't believe it. He used his telepathic communication to try and talk to the real Nero alive somewhere. "Nero where are you? Nero, Nero are you there? Nero respond immediately if you hear this wherever you are! Nero? Where are you?! Nero?! Nero!"
After a minute of silence, Xuro could establish that this wasn't a joke nor was it an illusion it was real, Nero was dead. Xuro dropped down on his knees. His eyes staring at the body of his Brother. His hand was placed slowly on the body still trying to grasp what had happened and to make sure it was real. He touched Nero's chest and held it there. No heart beat not even the slightest. It was Nero and he WAS DEAD!

Xuro eyes still not moving off Nero's body. He blinked twice, his brain still trying to respond and adhere to this fact. It just couldn't. Xuro just couldn't believe Nero was dead. It was just unthinkable. So sudden so quick so... So... Xuro speechless he couldn't utter a word. His mouth left slightly open but no voice could escape his petrified body. His hands trembling in shear fright. What had happened? Nero was killed in battle no doubt according to Gilgamesh.

Xuro trying to say something but couldn't. He realised what he had lost. In the blink of an eye, Nero was no more. His comrade. The co-leader of their organisation. His Brother! Someone he knew for a very long time. His best friend, comrade, ally someone he trusted with his life. Someone who he knew all his ninja life. Someone he fought beside and trained with. Someone who with Xuro had developed their skills and abilities together. Their goals were to reach the best ninja they could together. To reach their utmost best and then have a fight against one another. Something Xuro & Nero had both set out to do. Something.... Something... Something that will no longer be possible. Xuro's eyes now bleeding all the sorrow and intense inner pain in the form of tears flowing down his cheeks, one at a time dripping on the dead body of Nero. Xuro felt a part of his own soul and life force being ripped right out of him at the sight of Nero's dead body. He closed his eyes as the eyes began flowing even more rapidly, Xuro sobbing uncontrollably at what he had just seen before him.

"Nero.... Why did you die?? Why not with me beside you the battle. I would have given up my life for yours if I was there to see your about to die.... You have made your village proud. Your organisation very proud. You will not be forgotten I swear that you. Its the only thing I can do for you now. You will forever remembered in the history of Sunagakure known to the ninja world as Nero Goka of the Shakuton, Jounin of Sunagakure, leader of the Brotherhood of Light. Someone who every single person of Sunagakure will forever know. They will all see what a Great Ninja, leader, friend, comrade, brother you were..."

Xuro's tears flowing right off his cheeks right onto the dead body of Nero's making his attire damp with Tears. Xuro opened his eyes once more and looked at his brother. The pain and intense sadness was too much for Xuro. He just say there for minutes on end not moving one bit while his tears dripped down symbolising all his sadness of losing such a close person to him. It was something Xuro hadn't experienced before and just couldn't bare with all pain and just remained frozen there in front of his house entrance beside his brother.

Xuro's sharingan eye now possibly evolving from its three tomoe state into something with more symbolism of all the Pain and Sorrow Xuro was experiencing...

Hearing the man mourn for his lost comrade, and possibly a few tears escaping, he simply bowed his head to him as a sign of respect to both the fallen and the alive. He slowly raised his head back up to notice a shifting in his eye.. a revealing of a new state of sharingan, perhaps? He had no clue what it was about but he merely accepted it.

Xuro tears slowling down although they were still dripping. He felt his eyes change, evolve into its true form awakened due to Nero's death. He closed his eyes slowly and allowed for his sharingan eye to return to its three tomoe state. He then stood up and picked Nero's body and carried it into his house. He had then went to the place he had left Vergil's body. He would take the former member of the brotherhood the betrayer and then push his body aside. He then said to Gilgamesh, "Please get rid of this other boy here. Take it away." He pushed towards Gilgamesh to get rid of it. He then placed Nero's body gently down on the ground and would leave it there. He would sit beside it and mourn for his brother, Nero Goka....

Nodding his head when the man took the other body in his house; who was he to question the deeds that others wished to indulge in? Oh, right.. he was a King. He had every right to! But he decided he would not, as even he had a feeling of pity for the man. Lifting the arm of Vergil over his neck, he exited the scene without another thought.

Xuro didn't say anything. He was still traumatised and completely stunned by what just happened. He tried to comprehend it but it was still too much for him. He would watch Gilgamesh accept his wishes and take the body of Vergil away since he didn't really need the boy's body and also it took up space where he could put Nero's body comfortably and safely. He was still wanting to thank Gilgamesh Uzumaki for at least bringing Nero's body to him and being very decent about it and not act all cocky and big mouthed about it. He still couldn't speak having still the sorrowful look on his face. He should at least have given him some reward, some form of compensation for bringing Nero's body. He would pull out some ryo 5000 Ryo to be exact. He then quickly slipped it into Gilgamesh's pocket. The kid probably didn't even feel it. Xuro shrugged the idea of informing the Uzumaki kid about it since he'd probably just feel it later or when he checks his pocket or whatever it could just be like a surprise to him, a gift. It was the least Xuro could do.

After he left, Xuro would turned his head back to the body of Nero which lied peacefully beside him. He spend his time in thought and pondered over the surprising news of Nero's death. Xuro still couldn't believe that Nero was dead. I mean he was Xuro's best friend, brother, ally and he trusted Nero with all his life. He was the only one Xuro could actually really trust and depend on. He always knew Nero had his back. Before his eyes flashed all the history of Nero & Xuro. He saw the time when they first met. Xuro was a higher ranked ninja. If he remembered correctly, Xuro was a Jounin while Nero was still a Genin. Then Nero too joined Xuro among the ranks of Jounin. They started the brotherhood of light and recruited the first few members who have also passed on and are no more.

Xuro wondered why everyone he knew died and got killed. Every member previously with the Brotherhood are no more. Maybe there's a curse among the members of the brotherhood. Maybe they all eventually die and get killed or something. What if Gilgamesh would be next?! What if Xuro's next?!?! Xuro's thoughts turned into more superstition and anxiety. He didn't know for sure exactly what all this meant. Was it some sort of bad luck in Sunagakure. Xuro knew suna didn't have such a high population unlike the other villages. The place seemed just like a barren desert with a small portion of buildings and you might see one or two ninja about. That's just what xuro felt from a while back. But recently his feelings changed. The village changed. It had started fresh ever since "that incident" which Xuro doesn't want to think about. He seen the village growing. He seen a lot of new ninja running about. Fresh genin ninja just out of the academy. Maybe the village is still in the growing process, growing to what it truly will be. A lot of the new ninja Xuro didn't even know or seen before. But he couldn't let it stay like that. He was going to ensure that he knew all the new young ninja so that he could protect them and ensure they also don't end up like the other members of the Brotherhood of Light, since Xuro now being the leader. He just realised it now that since Nero had fallen he was now the proper leader of the Brotherhood of Light. He had to take full authority, full control and leadership. Something Xuro was still a bit scared to do. He hadn't ever had full leadership position ever in his life. But now I guess Xuro has to do that for Nero! For the Brotherhood!


Xuro then thought of an idea. He had to inform the village inform Nero's other acquaintances, his other friends and such about Nero's death. It was the least he could do for Nero. He then figured he should also make a monument to represent Nero Goka's legacy. He would decide to make a Clay sculpture of his brother. He would do all of that but not today since today he just doesn't feel like doing much. He would just mourn over Nero's death and spend the whole day in misery, sadness and sorrow. Xuro would do all of that tomorrow. He would need to inform all the village ninja to see who ever really knew him.
Xuro's Soul amethyst pendant had started to glow once again. It was ready to make the body but Xuro had stopped it quarter way the last time when he was a bit busy and got tired. He would turn the other way and then focus on his pendant and concentrate and try to project his soul fragments into an artificial body. He concentrated for several minutes till it finally projected a form of aura forward in front of him forming the shape of a human body. He kept at this for several minutes till he had made very far progress. Xuro paused for a second and then wiped his forehead it was actually quite tiring. He would then continue with the artificial body creation of the bizarre Soul Amethyst. He was now almost there just needed a little bit more concentration and focus and it will be done. The body was now forming and shaping into an exact replica of Xuro. After a few minutes the projection stopped and the body solidified and was now complete. That brought at least some form of little bit of joy to Xuro. He would look over at the newly created body of himself. It was said to be a last resort in case Xuro would die. But Nero could have used it to bring himself back to life. Xuro had noticed Nero also had the Soul Amethyst. Maybe just never had it for long enough or never made the body finish. Xuro decided it was best to store the body somewhere he safe. He picked it up and carried it to his room where he would place it in a secret hiding place- under his bed....

He still thought of the regret that if Nero had made the artificial body of the Soul Amethyst. If Nero had then he would still have him here alive with Xuro today. Xuro was still vey sorrowful. He didn't know what do now that Nero was gone. He still thought about that fight they had planned. It was suppose to be the finale fight they would have. But I guess that fight would never come now and Xuro had no motivation to continue anymore. What will he do now? He doesn't have that determination to become stronger anymore. He was frustrated and confused. He didn't know exactly what to do with his life now. Should he just continue with leading the Brotherhood of light by himself or should he just retire....
