Event mission

What a wonderful time a year , the air is cool and the leaves are falling, what more could someone ask for”, Zeref thought to himself. It was second only to his favorite time of the year which was summer.  Even though the heat in hoshi can sometimes be extreme nothing beats those nice summer nights with friends, drinking and having fun around the village. Even though Zeref could be outside all day long, enjoying the nice cool breeze he had work he had to get started on. He had accepted a mission that seemed rather odd to him but at the end of the day as long as it pays good he was ready for anything. 

The mission details spoke about finding a man that wandered around the village late at night and somehow disappeared before anyone could approach him. Zeref hopes that this mission wouldn’t be just him just running around the village at night looking for someone who is just casually strolling around the village at night , at the same time though he knew with the mission being ranked so low he more than likely won’t have any combat in this and would only be trying to find the identity of the man or women. 

“Well seems like I have a hour or so untill sunset , I guess I’ll go get set up” , he thought to himself. He had known of the perfect spot to wait for the cloaked individual, he hoped with the extra planning he would be able to get this mission over without wasting to much time. After going to his stake out spot Zeref waited to see if the man would show up soon or would this be an all night type of mission, but without fail a hour or two after darkness fell across the village the man had shown up. “Well it’s about time” , he thought to himself , but there was something odd about the man. The front of his cloak was covered in blood. “What the hell is going on here, why the hell is this man covered in blood”, he thought to himself. He was having a tough time deciding weather to chase after the man or going to see if he could somehow Save who could be bleeding out. “Fuck” he said in a low tone.

He couldn’t help but feel the need to go and see if he could possibly save the person. After the man was out of sight he ran over in the direction the man had came from, regretting each step he took knowing that he let the man he was suppose to find get away. He knew he was doing the humane thing by going to see if he was able to save someone life but how many more would be hurt or die for him not going to capture the man. As he finally turned the corner to his surprise he came across what looks like some sort of sacrifice site with no body to save he knew he had to get back and report this to the higher ups.
