Trying again (P, NK)

Corvin stood within Anima at the village center. The hustle and bustle of the people around him gave him a sense of responsibility. He knew that it was up to shinobi like him to protect each and every individual that passed by him. He was not there merely to people watch however. Since returning, he was eager to meet again with the man with the strange headband whose initial meeting was cut short due to the chuunin exams. Corvin had sent a message to him via messenger bird to meet there at the village center. As he waited, he would pick a person out of the crowd and imagine what their life was like. Their hopes, their dreams, their work, everything. Every person had a list of desires and goals. It made him feel content.

Xuro had received a message from the boy he had met a while back. The Sunagakure Genin with the cool puppet. The boy left in the middle of their encounter as he was participating in the Chuunin exams held in Konohagakure.

He was anxious to meet up with the puppeteer once again. Maybe the kid had won the chuunin exams and became a chuunin... That would be quite the accomplishment....

Xuro was in fact out in desert busy training his version 2 cloak. He had it activated and manage to achieve 5 tails. He was really getting the hang of the bijuu's power it was awesome. But he always made sure to train with it in the desert so as to not harm anyone.
Once he got the message, he used his increased power to storm through the desert till he came close to the gates where he would deactivate the cloak. He knew he couldn't be seen like that in the village. He entered the village seen in his normal attire heading to where he was to meet Convin.

After awhile of walking, he had seen the massive puppet signalling the presence of Convin. Ofcourse no one else knew the boy was there since he was well protected, well hidden, within the puppet.

Xuro approached him with a smile shouting, "Hi!! How did your Chuunin exams fight go?? Did you win??"

Corvin chuckled at the man screaming as he approached. He was happy he had agreed to meet with him. He was worried that he may have offended his new friend having to leave so abruptly for the exams, but it seems that he took no offense. Turning to face Xuro, Corvin said, "Hello my friend. The exam fight went...well it was odd, but it went. I am proceeding to the next round." The man seemed to be sweating, leading Corvin to believe he was training or working before coming to meet him. "I do hope I haven't interrupted anything by asking to meet with you."

"ooh! Awesome dude! Make Sunagakure proud and go win the whole damn thing! Haha nah actually I was just training. That's what I always do most of the time when I'm free..."
Xuro was quite excited hearing the news that the puppet boy had won his fight. Xuro assumed the Chuunin exams was still going on and it wasn't quite over yet. But lucky Convin had made it through. It should be rounded up soon so the boy must have done well!

"I enjoy some heavy training myself," Corvin said to the man. "Indeed, that's why I returned to Sunagakure before the next round begins. Shinobi have to improve to survive." He was glad that the man could not see his face blush when he spoke of making Suna proud. Yet another reason he wished there were more Suna shinobi fighting in the exams.

Xuro was quite impressed with the boy. He showed very good qualities. He wants to become strong and has the determination, the devotion. Xuro was sure he boy had definitely worked had especially to make the puppets. He wondered what other tricks and skills the boy could perform...

"Yeah that's Awesome! So then how about we stop wasting time hanging around and rather train?! There's tons more I can still train and also it would my honour to help another soon-to-be Chuunin help improve his skills. I like to see what else you capable of. So what's that, a Yes?"
Xuro grinned and raised his eye brow as he anxiously awaited the boy's answer...

Corvin listened as the man proposed training with him for the exam. While very abrupt, and he would have preferred to get to know the man more, he felt that at the moment training was slightly higher on the priority list. "I suppose we could do that. But considering you are Jounin ranked, I'll ask that you take it easy on me." Corvin had Anima reach out a hand to shake the man's hand in friendship.

Xuro smiled and shook the enormous puppet's hand. "Haha don't worry I'll go easy on ya that's if you don't give me a hard time hehe. So then race ya to the training grounds!" Xuro spoke as he followed up with a dash through the streets heading for the training grounds.

If he had reached first, he would enter the training grounds and go another 50 meters in and then jump atop one of the tall trees and hide among the bushes of tree to surprise Convin when he would arrive...

After shaking his hand, Xuro says he wants to race to the training grounds and begins running through the street to get there. Corvin sighs heavily and floats Anima above the buildings and flies a straight path to the grounds. Moving over the city rather than through the streets and moving significantly faster than Xuro, Corvin arrives to the grounds first. He remains above the training grounds hoping to surprise Xuro, but finds himself in near uncontrollable laughter as he watches his new friend dash into a tree in an attempt to surprise him. Certain that Xuro would hear him laughing, he slowly starts descending in the direction of the tree. As he descends, he shouts out "Are the squirrels being nice to you while you visit their tree?"

Xuro thought he had arrived first only to hear a burst of laughter coming from Convin who seemed to have arrived first. "Impossible! How fast is that boy's puppet??" Xuro thought to himself as he then noticed the puppet boy was instead flying and not running through the streets like Xuro did. He too broke into laughter as he put his hand on a loose branch which broke sending Xuro off-balance falling off the tree. Luckily he landed flipping over, safely both his feet touched the ground.
"Yeah they did! Haha!" Xuro laughed.

"Well then if you done showing off your flying skills, why don't you come get me?!"

Unaware to Convin, Xuro had his left and right hands behind him acting like just a standing position. But instead he was gathering clay to summon out his two clones. While talking two thin threads of clay started dripping out of Xuro's two palms slowly piling up about to finish up the summoning...
