Surprising Reunion [P/NK]

Yukan awoken one day in bed, he was dreaming of becoming tenkage again. Damnit...Yukan said putting his hand on his head, "It's going to be a long way". Yukan then took a shower, brushed his teeth, and got ready for the day like any other person. He strapped his headband tight against his head, looking into the mirror. He looked like a normal genin, Yukan sighed. He didn't want to fit in with the crowd, but if the crowd saw how he can bend his shadows then the town's people would start spreading it around. Yukan decided to sneak out of the window of his house, instead of getting into the commotion of his brothers and sisters. He stopped by the ramen shop to pick up a fresh bowl, "You get it for free son, especially since you were close with the former-" Yukan dropped his chopsticks. He forgot all about Shinji! He remembered that he also wanted some answers, Yukan tried to figure out where he should go to find him. Then he remembered how some people like to go to the training towers.

Yukan jumped out of his seat, and dashed towards the training towers past the village people. Yukan finally reached the building when he looked around. Maybe he could catch Shinji there? He scratched his head, or even maybe not...

As chance would have it Shinji was sitting in the lobby of the training towers. He wore his maelstrom armor and his regular battle equipment in its respective places. However, due to the compact nature of his armor he wore jeans and a long sleeve white shirt with the Uzumaki emblem on its back. He also wore a pair of sandals. He was sitting on a bench that sat on the far wall of the lobby. To his right was Luna, his pet dragon. He was, for the most part, here to chill out. Lately he had been hopping from hotel to hotel and it was nice to take a step back from all that. So, for now the second Tenkage was pleased to simply sit and people watch.

{Sorry, feeling rather uninspired}

Yukan began to rub his head feeling helpless for even trying to find Shinji. He then looked and turned towards the training towers, he began to shake off the thought of what happened when he got trapped in there. Yukan began to make his way towards, the building stopping at the door. He then looked at the floor, he didn't want to get into any gang warefare again. Yukan then remembered that his main goal was to get stronger anyway, to become Tenkage! But was Shinji even alive?! The thought crossed Yukan's head as he stood frozen. He had never thought of that, if there's a new kage then something must of happened! Yukan then shook his head again, he looked at the door pushing it as hard as he could opening it. As the door would slide open, he saw Shinji sitting down in the lobby by the farthest wall to the Training Towers. Yukan sighed in relief, but then again was surprised to see Yukan. He smiled as he called for his name, "Shinji!" he said as he began to run towards him. At midway of his tracks, he stopped seeing that there was some sort of a dragon next to him. Yukan was rather surprised, he had never looked forward into summoning's or pets or anything in that matter. Yukan's eyes crossed back over to shinji as he kept his smile on.

"Oi! Shinji! It's been such a long time!" Yukan said happily, of course he was happy to see that Shinji was safe. In fact, Shinji was the one who accepted him back into the village! Then a small notion crossed Yukan's mind, he studdered to speak, "Hey, is it true that you dropped out of your position..as Tenkage?". He said looking at Shinji's way.

At the mention of his name Shinji quickly zeroed in on the source of the voice: Yukan Nara. As of late Shinji had made a habit of remembering names a bit better. During his reign as kage he always forgot his advisor's names, which was, suffice it to say, a bad thing. In a rather nonplussed voice Shinji replied to the boy's very pointed question, "Hey, I would not say I dropped out of the Tenkage spot, rather I passed it on. Do you know the amount of work it takes to keep this village from falling down around us?" Shinji meant this as a rhetorical question as he continued flawlessly, "Well, how have you been? Readjusting to village life well?" Awaiting a reply the former kage idly pet Luna, which caused the dragon to make a low pitch humming that could be heard a ways away. However, it would seem that Shinji was not destined to stay here for long as it was at this moment that a jounin came up to him and whispered something in his ear. Apparently there had been a surge of injuries in the hospital and they required Shinji's assistance in helping people. As such Shinji got up, bowing slightly to the nara, and went on his way with a few word over his shoulder for Yukan, "I am sorry, but there is something going on in the hospital and they require my help, farewell." And with that Shinji and Luna were gone to their next destination.

Yukan would nod at the Tenkage, before he had talked about the amount of paper work. Yukan then would look up at the roof wondering how much paper work the Tenkage would do. 100? 200? 300? 400? 500! Spot on, just before he was going to answer Shinji would apologize for the short meeting and be on his way to do help some people. "Oh" Yukan would then say scratching his head, "I guess this isn't the right time to train" he would say turning back and running away.
