When Kozai emerged from the space-time tunnel, he immediately noticed the slight damp cold... and the heavy rain. It was extremely heavy rain, nothing like what he expected. Well... he would have to see. He walked further into town, and realized that this was unfamiliar territory for him. He had MOST CERTAINLY NEVER, EVER been to Amegakure before (wink, wink). Hmm... as he walked among the large metal buildings, he used water heavens convergence to keep the rain off of him. Getting wet and sick again at this point would not do him any favors, so he decided to remain nice and dry. He decided to see the sights before doing anything else, so he walked around for a bit. He used his mind's eye of kagura to stretch out his own senses, and surveying the surrounding area. Wait a minute.... what was this? The rain was mixed with a chakra that matched the chakra color of the powerful person at the top of the tallest skyscraper. This could only mean one thing: that the leader himself was mixing the rain with his own chakra. He would have to talk to this "Worr Terumi" later. Kozai hoped that he would be a most interesting man. He liked meeting powerful people, if nothing then for the sheer purpose of seeing how power went to their heads.
He walked a little closer to the tall tower. How curious. He didn't notice anything overtly odd about it... until he got pretty close. The top of the tower was an absolute wreck. It was being rebuilt, but the fact that someone could have done such damage was pretty insane. Well.... Kozai would have to see about that later, if he had the chance. In the meantime, he would have to make to with the swampy jungle aura and the sights and sounds of the rain village. It was a pleasant sound, but the rain was heavy. He looked down into the grates of the high tech sewers below. If someone was chained up down there, they would drown in a matter of hours, as the gutters slowly filled up with rain before periodic release. That would be a horrible death to die indeed... drowning in a foreign gutter, with no one to help him. Horrifying, simply horrifying. Kozai would probably be able to stay alive until the water drained away due to his jutsu, but others might not be so fortunate. He skipped down to the town square to check out the shops. Amazing! The cuisine here was so different from his hometown! Fabulous jungle fruit, augmented with swamp spices. Such cuisine, and from such geography! The soil quality here was clearly different than that in the mountains, it was filled with more hummus and detritus. How fascinating.
Kozai tried a few samples, and was delighted with the results. He was very happy with this village so far. But that wreck at the top of the skyscraper.... it was suspicious. Kozai would normally have not thought of such things, but that appeared to be the kage's location. He would have to see about that later. He would have to find Arcanis in a little bit, but in the meantime, he was not concerned with such things. He needed to get going. He went to the universal ninja post office, and checked up stuff under his name. Well.... well well welll.... what had he here? A letter from leader Near as a response to his previous message. Apparently, Iwa was about to go into some huge international plan. He had to give it to Near to be ambitious and proud at the same time. Leave it up to his leader to do something like this. Now, it was imperative that he find Arcanis. However, he would have to recover first.... space-time travel was not the most healthy or fun. He went ahead and found some shelter to spend out the night. Soon, he would have to emerge and find his teammate. As of that day, Kozai would use the plans of others (the two he associated with) to further his own ambitions.
He found a quiet alleyway to settle down where it was dry and rested up.
