Earlier that morning...
Yaju had woke up in his now fully finished house in a cave, a place that looked liked a homely mansion in a cave. Took him a long arduous week before finally he had finished the place including the kitchen. Yaju had sat in the living room reading a book, his silver hair sitting in front of his eyes, the book was on how to take care of a child. Now many people knew that he had no children so why was he reading this book? The fast patter of small feet that sounded like a large summon came into view until a small figure tackled Yaju and almost pinned him onto the couch," Father!!! Someone was at the door, they told me to give this to you," Kodomorashi or Kodo for short, was now chuckling lightly as he handed Yaju the note. Yeah this was what Yaju had spent so long on in the lab to create, but what was this mysterious child? No one knew except for him, but anyways Yaju would pat the young boys head and smile," good job little one, lets see who it is from eh?," opening the letter, he would shake the hair from his face and stand up after sitting the letter on the couch. Grumbling for a second he would begin to look up at the ceiling and stretch," seems like i need to go do a patrol...even if i watch over the village as Misaki's replacement for the time being i still have those "duties" to do," shrugging he would walk up the stairs and head to get dressed.
15 minutes later....
Yaju had came out of the house wearing his black half buttoned up shirt and grey Haori. His black pants were already on so he did not have to worry about that and finally his black bandages were wrapped around his arms and legs. The only weapons he had on him were his Geas blades and his new blade-the Totsuga no Tsurugi which had sat on his right hip. To the left of him however was the little one Kodo wearing what seemed to be a kendo like attire, composing of a black gi and onamori...and over the gi was a red jacket. The little boys red eyes had looked up to Yaju and smiled as he jumped up and landed onto his right shoulder...man this boy was a little heavy. Yaju quickly sat the little boy down and pointed to the house," Not this time little one go back in the house and get things prepared for later," the little boy grumbled but walked back into the house before slamming the door.
Now since that was taken care of he had made his way down the mountains with haste until he was now inside of the village and walking towards the front of the village, where he would begin his patrol. Many of the people outside would wave towards him and say hello which was something he was still getting used to, but for the moment he would simply wave back and continue on. Finally he would arrive at the gates where he would see two people standing there which at first had made him curious. Walking a little closer he would stand a few feet from them before speaking," So what are you two doing out here...on patrol?," although he glanced over them once, he wasn't going to simply assume they were here for work.

Inijo would begin to listen to the girl, figuring he perhaps took to long with thinking in what he would do, and she assuming Inijo was about to leave. She would ask if she could come with Inijo, "Sure?.." He would say, letting her finish in what she was saying, not really minding the company, though he was still lost in thought about what he would do now. Perhaps he would simply go and get a bite to eat at some restaurant, after all it had been a while since he has had some of Kumogakure's food. Though, while pondering, he would hear someone began to speak. It was a question, as to whether or not the two were out on patrol. He would simply look over to the person, and begin to reply; "Nah." He would said, plain and simple. "Just got back from places." He would say, beginning to look over the new stranger. He was a few feet away, judging by the weaponry, he could be a shinobi, Inijo figured. "How about you, 'en?" He would ask, before pondering again. Though this time he wasn't really pondering over what to do, he was thinking as to whether or not he had seen this person before. He didn't really recall him, so, he figured him to be another stranger.

Yuriko, while talking to Inijo, begun to hear the stranger's footsteps approach them and immediately went rigid and only after turning to face this new person did she allow herself to appear relaxed, cool and collected. She softened her gaze so that it appeared nonchalant, and lowered her voice and changed the tone to become a bit more aloof, distant than it had been with Inijo. Yuriko was determined, for whatever reason, to appear her strongest to this new stranger.
"Are you a friend of Inijo?" She asked, gazing directly at the man as she crossed her arms in an attempt to hide the increasing speed of her chest's rise and fall, revealing that underneath her sudden aloof mask, she was unnerved that a stranger had suddenly begun speaking to them, something felt off to her, something powerful, but perhaps it was merely her imagination . . .
Yuirko waited for her answer, eyes every so often flickering over to look at Inijo, as if for reassurance, though she knew deep down that he would likely offer none.

It was strange for a moment as he looked over the two figures in front of him, taking his time to search for anything that could identify them in his mind. Drawing a few blanks himself he would smile and set his hands inside of his black pockets which had made the Haori that sat opened on his body to ease a little lower on his body. The rather laxed demenour could be seen in his eyes as he answered the boys question," Yeah i am on patrol and if you are just getting back into the village, where have you just came from...i do not remember seeing a absence of leave from anyone besides a few people, but i guess it cannot be helped," shrugging for a moment he would now bring his eyes to the young girl in front of him, who's way of dressing was indeed interesting.
He wanted to ask just why she had dressed liked that or even more specifically what was the deal with her eyes...full of mystery yet something was a bit interesting about them. Smiling for a moment he would finally answer the girls question," Nah i am not a friend of this guy...and his names Inijo...interesting. So that just leaves your name which is?," speaking in more of a formal and friendly tone, the young ANBU captain would wait for her to respond before speaking once more. It was rather interesting to find people so close to the gates conversating with each other although it was a curious thing to see.

"My name is Yuriko, Yuriko Nori" She recited, with the fear in her tone dissipating as she heard his friendly tone, for some odd reason it made her feel more at ease and willing to talk to this man who was apparently patrolling. She absently fiddled with her dress as she spoke, she felt an odd shyness begin to build up as well as relief, but given her age it was normal.
With her name said, she allowed herself to smile faintly, her eyes shimmering once more in the light as a bit of her childishness leaked into her body-language, while she attempted to still remain mature and cool-looking, appearing torn between the two. She eventually forces herself to look back at Inijo, wondering what he may do next, she was worried for her new friend for some reason, but it could be nothing.
Yuriko closed her eyes for a few moments and waited.

The man began to respond to Inijo's question, he mentioned he was on patrol, which had confirmed Inijo's assumption in the man being a shinobi. After answering, the man would ask a question of his own, where had Inijo been returning from? "Konohagakure, from the Chuunin Exams." He would reply. "Got lost on the way back." He continued, explaining as to why he took so long in returning, anticipating any further questioning on the topic. After replying, he would hear Yuriko ask if the man were friends with him, though the man replied first in saying that he wasn't. For now he would just remain silent until spoken to.

So this was one of the ninja that went to Konoha for the Chuunin Exams which was good enough for him and he wouldn't ask another question about it for the time being. The getting lost bit was a little much seeing as one could simply get a map to get back to the village, but that was just his opinion on it. His eyes would come back to Yuriko who had just introduced herself to him and he could hear the slight fear in her voice in which he would step forward slightly and rub her head," Well you have a cute name Yuriko and it is nice to meet you as well. So i am Yaju and it is good to meet the both of you and hope you are having a good day so far," he would step back a bit before looking around and seeing that the patrol squad was already here and had enough people to actually get the job done. Sighing slightly he would smile," well seeing as i might not have to work at the moment care for a walk around the village," this would be a pretty interesting meeting between the three of them and depending on their answer he would prepare to walk around with them.

Inijo would stand there as the two conversed, no more was said on the topic of him and the lack of leave of absence, so he hoped the issue had been resolved. As the two were talking, he would take note of the man's name, as he stated it. "Pleasure to meet you as well, Yaju." Inijo would say, then proceed to looking back at the surroundings. For now he would merely eavesdrop on their conversation, remaining silent, as he didn't prefer talking much.

[Super sorry about the long wait! I am a bit forgetful at times, Promise not to let it happen again everyone]
Yuriko looked to Inijo, wondering to herself if she had been neglecting her new friend. As she thought this, she spoke up. "Inijo, do you want to go with Mister Yaju?" She asked softly, running a hand through her own hair as she glanced back at Yaju with a half-interested, half-confused expression on the suggestion that he had made to explore around the village. She wondered if he had something up his sleeve, and if it meant her new friend Inijo was in danger. It was a long-shot, but anything could happen in this world, even in this village.
As she thought, Yuriko then slowly brought her gaze to the sky, observing the clouds.
