Return

Maku returned, and walked through the gate.  He didn't need any approval, since he was the new leader after all.  Walking through the gates, he mingled with the folks of the village, and joked with them.  From what he could tell, not many of them seemed to mind new leadership.  It was a harsh environment, and in a place that literally made you be strong to live, the people wanted a strong leader.

Only time would tell if Maku could fulfill that goal.  Making it to his office building, he requisitioned all the paperwork he would need, and began creating a list of reports for Echo, should he require anything.

It was a bit lonely, all by ones self.  It gave him time to think, and reflect.  Sighing, he looked out into the snow storm.  A storm, when her returned to the village, would this be a sign of things to come.  Looking around the office, Maku thought he probably should send a letter to Tori, after a couple failed starts, he let the papers go into the waste bin.  Maybe another time.  It then occurred to him that he forgot to tell Youka, he was leaving the village. 

O well he would figure it out.
