The voyage was one without much excitement. Taking passage on one of the boats kumo had set him off across the ocean to his old home. A home he had not been to in some time. The last time he had been there he had left a message for the leaders, his mission to expand Funka's influence. He had been to one place, yet it had done much for his plans. It would involve the stepping down, but at the same time the ability to rise up. It was something he wasn't sure if it would work, and that's why he sat alone, meditating.

It was getting harder to differentiate the emotions of himself and the beast within. While their pact stood and unwanted attacks no longer occurred, the tension still existed. It was though he lived in a war zone at all times. Always ready to strike, a hard way to live. Only in these moments was he able to relax, and take in a breath. He prepared himself for pain, for death, for blood.....these were all things he reveled in. His own just before that of others. It was how he knew he was alive. As his mind drifted and the boat pulled into the docks, the beast roared in continued rage.....the earth smelling more of sulfur than he remembered.
