The Return

Both exhausted and annoyed by the long travel from hoshigakure to kumogakure Komon found himself actually happy to see the enormous mass of rotting bodies that guarded his village. that was at least until he got within smelling range of the damned things. His long absence from the village had taken away his familiarity with the scent. "That's gonna take some re-getting used too" He'd mutter to himself as he approached the daunting gates of his village.

"Komon Hyuuga, Jounin of Kumogakure" He'd yell up to the men peering down at him from the top of the wall. One of them was a boy he'd met in his chuunin exams. The name had long been lost to him, but the face remained in his mind. The boy seemed to recognize him as well, because the gate came inching up seconds later. When the gate was fully opened Komon would look back to Sakana, "You and the Gennin are free to do what you'd like, I'm going to report our return" And with that the newfound jounin would make his way into his homeland, finally done with his journey to far away and strange lands. He'd walk away with a grin on his face.
