Form [solo, nk]

After getting up the next morning, Flinglass Ametsuchi rubbed his eyes gently. He needed to get up, but felt way too tired to do anything. He fell back in the bed, and breathed deeply, almost yawning. Looking around him, he realized that judging by the level and angle of light that came through the window, he had overslept significantly. Well, it looked like he would have to get up. He half lifted himself, half fell out of his covers, and got dressed drowsily. Looking at himself in the mirror, he saw a bedraggled guy who had overworked himself....? No, that couldn't be. Of course he hadn't overworked himself, and he felt fine.... or was he merely deceiving himself? Well, regardless, he had to go out and train up anyways. He may as well use this opportunity to wake himself up and get his blood circulating. It was definitely better than staying in bed all day.
He opened his door and headed out into the bright sunlight of the midday village. Kumogakure, being in the mountains, was a little drier than he would have liked, but he had to take what he had and go with it. Such was the lot of a man, not to speak of a shinobi! Walking down the street, he already felt invigorated as the heat seeped through his skin, warming his blood and making him feel alive and awake. Well.... perhaps "alert" was a better word. Yes, that was it, he felt like he wouldn't be falling back into dreamland for quite a while now.
As he arrived at the training ground, he looked around to perhaps assess what sort of equipment was on hand. This was one of those fancy indoor ones, with air conditioning so that Kumo ninja wouldn't be dying from heat stroke and such. It was a nice little hemisphere, just right for his kind of training. Now that he had been a genin for a while, he could perform the basic academy jutsu with ease, but probably needed to practice other things first. Well, he could begin with his standard form one kata.
This particular kata was one that was used over and over again in Flinglass's practice so that he could memorize basic taijutsu moves. He let the various attacks, blocks, counter attacks, and the sequence thereof (as well as the subsets of said sequences) ingrain themselves into his muscle memory, so that he would be able to attack and strike at his opponent without hesitating to think of what he should do. His goal in training was to make his movements quick and fluid, because a good fighter had to leave no gaps in his form. Such gaps meant the difference between life and death in a real fight, or even a spar. Flinglass took spars pretty seriously, unlike most ninja. He not only saw them as an opportunity to gain skill and strength, but also as a way of profiling his opponent, as a way of finding out their strengths, weaknesses, personality, and perhaps even ambitions.
Well, after practiciing his kata a few times, Flinglass felt a tiny bit more confident than he had been before. He moved on to his next form, his type two kata. This form was very different from the first, in that it focused only on attacks. However, there was much more study to this form than meets the eye. Flinglass had tuned every single move in this form to target a vital part of the opponent. The eyes, instep, and especially, the vagus nerve. Hits against these areas of the body either caused massive internal damage, or immense pain.
With that done, Flinglass decided to return home. He had had enough of this, and was hungry.
