Breaking a sweat. [io; NK]

Today seemed like a good day to visit the training grounds. Besides, there wasn't much to do anyways. Hie had just finished cleaning up the shop; the whole room was spotless. He stood in the center of the small store and let out a sigh of relief, "Finally, I'm done." The boy set the broom in his hand against the counter and made his way out if the shop, locking up after. As he walked towards the training grounds he began wondering why he was always running the shop. Sure he was an employee and all and the owner's grandson but he's also a shinobi of the village. Accounting for the shop would be a workload for the boy on top of his duty as a ninja. He'd keep this in mind for later. At least to try and explain to his grandpa. For now all he had to worry about was getting some training in.
It didn't take him long to reach the training grounds. There were many young shinobi present; each one busting their asses off to grow stronger. The sight had put a smile on Hie's face. Children coming here, most likely with their own goal of becoming powerful, to work hard. Hie walked over to a small post and took off his shop apron, laying it on the wooden post. "Alright, time to get started!" The boy smiled and began running around the whole grounds. This was simply a warm-up, just to get that heart pumping.
While running he looked at the different exercises that the others were performing. Maybe he'd incorporate that into his routine. He was already on his tenth lap by the he was finished thinking of a follow-up to the running. There were ten more laps to go. Boy, was his heart beating during his run. It had been a long time since he's ever pushed himself to this point. "C'mon! I can do this!" Hie pushed himself last minute to sprint the final lap. When he completed it he stopped and arched his upper half forward, resting his hands on his knees. Sweat trickles dropped from his face and onto the ground as he breathed in and out.

That wasn't enough; the boy needed more. If this training wasn't vigorous enough then he'd never grow strong enough to help protect the shop. No, he wouldn't be able to protect his own village. There are times when shinobi are required to defend their villages. Hie wanted to make sure that when that time came he'd be prepared. He straightened himself and took one final breath before focusing his attention on a dummy at the center of the field. "I guess I should begin with some Taijutsu." Hie took his stance, dashing at the stationary object. Once he came into distance he delivered a roundhouse kick, slamming right into the target's side. Hie followed through by placing his hands on the ground and turning his lower body to send a kick with his other leg.
The move wasn't as fluid as he thought it'd be but it got the job done. Hie pushed off of the ground and distanced himself from the swaying target, landing on all fours. He then reached for two kunai, tossing them at different joints, what would immobilize a human if they hit. After all, Hie did not believe in killing. So simply preventing movement was the alternative.

The boy walked over to the downed target and plucked the kunai out of the hay body, depositing them into his equipment pouch. Overlooking the damage he had done, he envisioned himself battling another human. What if it ever came to a life or death situation? What exactly would Hie do? Would he be able to take someone's life it needed? These were the thoughts that troubled the young Senju. He signed himself into this lifestyle knowing exactly what was to come but he wasn't ready for it. ".......I hope something like that never happens." The boy bent down to grab onto the dummy and post it up again for whoever wanted to use it next. Looks like he was done here; he didn't want to continue training in this field. A more natural field was required to do what he was going to do next. Hie grabbed his bags and jogged off towards the exit, heading for an emptier area.
