Re: Visitting for Lunch

Green had a smile one his face as he zoomed through the streets of Konohagakure on his new skateboard. The cool wind flowing through his hair helped him feel relaxed, and his nearly clear path made everything even better. The usual bustle of people had always made him slightly agitated with all the troublesome noises they created. The boy pushed himself forward once more, trying to keep at a constant pace. He barely payed any attention to the buildings he was passing by. That was, until, a mysterious scent hit his nostrils. Green placed his left foot onto the ground, making him slowly skid to stop. He let his emerald orbs roam the area, searching for the place where the delicious odor was originating from. His eyes eventually shifted in the direction of a certain bakery, or whatever it was preferred to be called. Green knew that it didn't just sell pastries due to the pictures of various kinds of treats.
He placed his left foot back on his board before leaning on the nose and kicking off the ground, now being in mid air. For the few moments he was in the air, Green grabbed the board and pulled it from under his feet, now being in a crouching position with the skate board on his left side. The youth safely landed on the ground with a small "thud" and tilted his head to face the bakery's window. He spotted a boy that was around his own age, sitting at one of the tables and eating what seemed to be a sweet roll...Green could sense his stomach rumbling at the mere sight of one. He placed a a single hand on his abdomen as he felt his mouth starting to salivate. But did he have enough ryo to buy the treat? His skateboard had taken a good chunk out of what he had in his pocket.
With a sigh and a shrug Green trotted towards the shop, pushing passed the door and taking his first few steps inside. A mixture of aromas hit his nose at full force, almost forcing him to take a step back. Key word: Almost. The boy had indeed kept his ground, but couldn't help the small smile that grew on his face. He hadn't smelled anything like this in a long time. Green eagerly rushed towards the counter, immediately asking for the sweet roll he saw the other child eating. It didn't take long for the delicious snack to arrive, the youth quickly exchanging it for a small amount of ryo. He now had the roll on a small plate in his right hand, his eyes twinkling at the sight of something so delectable. He quickly turned to take a seat at one of the tables, but stopped in his tracks.
Green's sights were now on the child who was still sitting at the table. Now, this had to be the second time he saw this guy today, but for some reason he was only now noticing something crucial...he saw this kid before. And so, Green would continue to stand there with his treat in his hands, eying the boy who had obviously done nothing wrong.

He could feel it, this kid's name was on the tip of his tongue. Green furrowed his eyebrows as he continued to stare at the boy. Sasumo...? No....Sasuko? Nope, I know it wasn't that... he thought, Sa...Sasu...Sasuto! A look of realization immediately hit his face afterwards. However, he remained silent as he began to inspect the Uchiha. He took note of the abnormal shade of blue his eyes had. Green thought most people from his clan had onyx eyes, not ones with a cerulean hue. An amused glint hit his own orbs at the sight of a roll sticking out of Sasuto's mouth. With another sigh, he casually walked over to the fellow student and plopped down onto the chair next to him. Green placed his plate onto the table before leaning his skateboard against his seat.
He knew of the awkward atmosphere he was creating, but could really care less at the moment. "...You're that kid," he said after staring at Sasuto a bit more, "The one that got beaten by that cocky ass Hyuuga..." Green would search the Uchiha's face for any signs of emotion. He could recall the way Sasuto reacted after the fight and he hoped his words wouldn't anger him too much. As he waited for a response, the boy reached for his roll and brought it to his lips. After he took a bite out of the treat he felt his taste buds tingle in delight. He didn't mind the heat that was emanating from the roll for he was too focused on it's flavor. To put it shortly, the child greatly enjoyed it's sweetness since he wasted no time in taking another bite.
It was a bit difficult to down what was in his mouth due to the large amount, but he eventually managed to do so. Green then looked back in Sasuto's direction before opening his mouth to speak once more. "To be honest, I don't know what that guy was thinking. The result of the fight was obvious...she's a Hyuuga after all, it wouldn't end pretty for anyone who fought her."

Green rose an eyebrow at Sasuto's response and was slightly surprised by the expression on his face. However, a smirk eventually appeared on his own features. "Someone sounds confident," he stated, "What? Have you been training ever since or something? You couldn't have possibly gotten so much stronger...in such a short amount of time." He was honestly curious on what changed the boy's previous attitude. Heck, he didn't even know that an Uchiha could grin like that. It appeared to be something one of those Uzumaki would most likely do. The youth took another bite of his roll, savoring the taste that was in his mouth again. It was a wonder as to how someone could possibly make something so enjoyable to eat.
After he swallowed the food in his mouth, he tilted his head downwards so that he was facing the table. "You know, it's kind of strange how I haven't seen you in the academy before," he would mumble if Sasuto replied to the words he spoke earlier. It was indeed true, the first time he had ever seen the Uchiha was when the mysteriously cloaked man had called everyone together. It made him wonder...would he notice the boy the next time he went to the academy? He didn't seem to be someone Green would dislike speaking to, so it wouldn't be an unpleasant experience.

While words began to spill from Sasuto's mouth, Green was pushing the rest of his roll into his own. The act made his cheeks slightly puff out, giving him a look similar to that of a squirrel or chipmunk. As he chewed, the boy couldn't help but notice just how difficult it was for him to do so. "The truth?" he responded, however his words came out slightly muffled, "Do you really deem her as weak?" He rose an eyebrow as he said this to Sasuto. It seemed as if everyone in Konoha was cocky, or at least the ones in high class clans were. For all they knew, Midori could be training away right now getting stronger than ever before. Simply saying she was weak was something one shouldn't do. Green furrowed his eyebrows as he found that downing his snack was proving to be more troublesome than he thought.
Fortunately, he just so happened to spot a conveniently placed water bottle on the table next to them. He didn't know who would carelessly leave their belongings somewhere, but it was beneficial to him so he didn't care too much. Green slightly leaned to the left, in the direction of said table, and grabbed the water bottle with unnecessary force. He quickly twisted off the cap and placed the top to his lips, soon feeling the cool liquid rushing into his mouth. It gave the child a content feeling and his surroundings made everything better. He placed the water bottle to his left, in the middle of him and Sasuto, and released a deep sigh. "I hope you're not underestimating her...Midori is older meaning she has more fighting experience. Not only that, but she's of a higher ranking," he added to his previous statement.
A few moment after he spoke did he hear his skateboard fall onto the floor. A concerned expression formed on his face as he twirled his head in the direction of the object. Green quickly reached down to pick up his precious skateboard, but unconsciously moved his left arm into his uncapped water bottle. Unfortunately, this caused the bottle to lean in Sasuto's direction and forcing it to spill it's contents. If nothing was done to prevent this, the water would've ended up soaking Sasuto's pants in an...embarrassing area. After finally setting his skateboard back in its original position, Green would've looked back over to the Uchiha. If what was previously stated had occurred...well, he would simply proceed to laugh hysterically. If it hadn't, then the boy would look curiously at Sasuto, wondering if he missed anything.

Midori strolled through Konoha's main streets with a book in her right hand. her father demanded that she brushed up on her studies when she was not too busy with missions and service at the hospital as a medical nin. The young kunoichi truthfully could not catch a break between training, whether it be physical or mental. While walking, the girl heard her name being mentioned inside a restaurant not far from her, and stopped in her tracks so that she may look inside. She showed no surprise to see Green Akari and Sasuto Uchiha sharing lunch in the same restaurant. 'Hmm, the hoodlum and the Uchiha?' She thought to herself. Just as she was about to shrug her shoulders and continue about her business, what Sasuto said next peaked Midori's interest.
"Confidence does not have to do with the truth, Midori is weak, and days before, I was too. She did one thing though, she motivated me to become stronger."
Midori appeared behind Sasuto in a way that he would not notice her presence immediately. There was a vein on her forehead just above her raised eyebrow, clearly irked by Sasuto's comment. Her tone was stern, and almost frightening as she said,
"Midori is weak, huh? You better listen to our hoodlum friend, here."
In truth, Midori was quite impressed with Sasuto's attitude. She preferred those who would harbor courage within them, especially when against a stronger opponent. She admired the boy's will to get stronger, and had no doubt that Sasuto would one day be on equal terms with her. Upon hearing the reaction from the two Academy Students, Midori would reposition herself to lean with her hip against the table they sat at.
