The Fourth [Takeover/Claiming Tenkage]

It was the promised day. The day Takeo had silently been preparing for for the last month or so. Of course most of Tengakure's citizens would have thought he had retired or something. But no, Takeo had been mentally preparing himself for this very moment. Now there was a reason he was stood on top of a skyscraper adjacent to the Tengakure's chambers. His hood was up, he was geared out fully with all of his equipment on him (see stat page for more details) and his face for once was actually quite serious looking, somewhat. Now the reason for him being there was actually quite simple.

Den and Shinji had not been seen for sometime now. All Takeo could assume was that they had been killed off at some point, something which he shed a tear for. A single manly tear trickled down his cheek at the thought. However now was no time to mourn them, someone had to step up. As the greatest student of the Third Tenkage, and one of the greatest Tengakure nin to walk the face of the earth he had brought it upon himself to take over for now. He had sent out letters, announcing that he would be claiming the title of the Fourth Tenkage due to the absence (and neglect) of the leaders. It was not something he was looking forward to, but someone had to do it. Heck he was still holding out hope that Den or Shinji would come back soon and not just for one post every five months.

Takeo was slightly hesitant to actually go inside and sit down himself, after all maybe he would be stopped? Who knows, it was entirely possible. Heck maybe some of those side-kicks Den ran around with, Takeo really needed to find out who and what they actually were at some point, would be there. Would it come down to a fight? Takeo wasn't quite sure. With a heavy heart he set himself on the fact that he may have to go against his 'sensei' and possibly end up defeating the man in combat, if it came to that. Maybe he would give up the throne peacefully? Den was a reasonable man after all, he did after all not punish Takeo for the few incidents he had caused, all of which were completely justified.

While Takeo was thinking through all of this, an exact mirror was actually making it's way up the tower he was looking at. You see, even if Takeo did not think things would come down to blows, he could never been too careful. That is why the replica would go instead of him. It was while the replica made it's way through the office that Takeo tugged the Tenkage's hat up and onto his head. It was pulled back ever so slightly, as to not obscure his vision from the front. He did not really have to worry about behind him to be honest, as he would rely on his sensory and Byakugan, which for the time remained dormant.

The clone, Takeo Jr., had made it's way to the office in no time flat. Honestly it wasn't that hard to get inside, everyone seemed to be used to him just bursting into it when he pleased. He wondered if he was the only one who got away with that. Ah well, he could always ask when he took power. Takeo Jr. kicked down the door, throwing about fifty kunai into the room in order to kill all the occupants inside. Or he would have, if Takeo Jr. did not have the same intelligence as Takeo himself. Instead it simply knocked once, and opened the door.

Now if the room were empty, Takeo Jr. would make it's way over towards the desk. Around the desk, and to the chair. Ah the chair, such an uncomfortable piece of rubbish honestly. No wonder they didn't get any work done. The first thing he would do when he took over would be to get rid of that god forsaken wooden piece of crap. Wait, now wasn't the time to think about stuff like this. This scenario would continue as such, Takeo Jr. would put his feet up on the desk, and wait a bit for someone to come and try to challenge his claim. If that didn't happen, well he could begin plans for his official coronation within the next few days.

Now for scenario two, that being if someone was located in the room. This was the one Takeo and Takeo Jr. did not wish to happen. If there was someone in the office, be it an ANBU or one of Den's side-kicks Takeo Jr. would wait and then announce his intentions to them. Of course this scenario could play out in multiple different ways. Hopefully whoever was inside the room would simply accept this, knowing it to be the best course for the village and allowing him to take over peacefully. If not well, shit.

[It's May 14th, I believe I'm allowed to go and claim Tenkage now~]

Xyxer The Abysswalker walked across the abyss that were the hopes of a chick to grow. In other words, he stomped on a baby chicken as he proceeded to follow a boy he had not bullied in quite a while. Takio. Wait, no, Takeo. Bully? No, kill. Kill? Words were growing foreign to Xyxer.. was he losing his mind? Traitor. Following the blundering boy that had marched his way through the main entrance, he silently followed behind, his cracked reptilian mask covering his face, a singular amber eye shining in the darkness. He marched through the guards, they were nothing to him but canon fodder, and he was nothing to them but another ANBU. He marched up the stairs.. the stairs he had tread on the day he had died. Death. Execution. TraitoR. He paused briefly to hold his head, a minor headache arising. No. Not this time. No.

Moving through the door that would enter the hallway of the Tenkage, he had heard something like a knock moments before and a closing door.. Or was it opening.. he could not tell anymore. Stumbling along, he pushed his way through the door. It was all a puzzle to him. Traitor. He stood in the doorway with the door open, watching the seated male with his feet on the desk. He felt a chide coming on, "How low the Tenkage drop.. It reminds me of Kirigakure. What's wrong with you, Plague?"

The clone had entered uncontested it seemed. Though mere seconds after it had taken its seat a person entered the room. Takeo Jr. made no move to get out of the seat. Nor made any move to go on the offensive. This was nothing more than an ANBU, one who wore a cracked mask. Listening to the man, no boy, speak the clone recognized the voice. "Xyxer Gyojin, let me ask you." The clone spoke calmly, "Was the Mizukage a good leader?" He had time to waste, he might as well begin winning others over to his side. After all, he would need to have good relations with the ANBU in order to have a better control over the village. This would be a good one to start with, he had known him for quite some time after all. Then again, he doubted Xyxer was in a good frame of mind. Though honestly, Takeo had never seen him act in what could be considered a 'normal' manner.

"Good leaders do not lose their strongest warriors." He answered briskly, an involuntary twitch once more rocking his neck which caused his head to rotate ever so slightly and then back. Traitor. Death. His feet were spaced apart, shoulder width, with his hands drooping down and swinging as if there was no connection with them to his body, as if they were simply broken in the way they swinged like pendulums. Life.. Power.

Takeo's eyes scanned the form of Xyxer as he answered. Choosing his words carefully he continued, "Then, what do you think of the two Tenkage." He would of course wait for an answer. Takeo remained calm throughout it all, after all it did not matter if Xyxer were to try and attack him now. His life was meaningless honestly. Nothing more than a pawn for the plans of his creator. After Xyxer answered, if he did, he would continue. "Xyxer, I am taking over this village." A grand sweeping motion with his arm accompanied these words, "However, I believe in order to win over the people I need support of the strongest Tengakure-nin." A smile graced his lips, he believed these words were what the boy would want to here, "I recognize your strength Xyxer. I see something that Denkiteki and Shinji did not. I offer you this." Pausing, he pointed towards himself and the Xyxer. "Rule beside me Xyxer. Let us bring this village back to the super power it once was." Was it a super power before? Well he assumed so, but whatever.

"Et tu, Clove? What is to stop me from slaughtering you right here and taking the spot myself, if I so desire?" Xyxer said abruptly, pulling out a ninjato while Takeo had his feet rested on the desk.

Takeo's expression didn't change. "What was stopping you from killing either Den or Shinji and taking the spot?" He questioned calmly, despite the boy drawing his weapon he made no move to defend himself. After all, he had no need to. "This offer, I've doubt you've had one like this before. Would you rather stay as an unknown ANBU forever Xyxer? Or would you rather become feared throughout history as co-leader of the greatest village to exist on the face of the planet?" The choice was rather simple as was what the correct answer was. However Takeo wasn't sure Xyxer was in the right frame of mind to make sense of it. Time would tell. "Plus, would it not be safer with two instead of one? I'm sure even you would be unable to take on both the Tenkage if they tried to take back power. If we work together, our victory is guaranteed."

There was doubt as to his power, and there was critisicism to his role in the world.. He should carve the runts face in half. He twisted the ninjato in the air as if he was aiming where to cut, then started to walk towards the desk he was at. Turning around and sitting on the corner, essentially having his back to him and watching the door he snarled somewhat yet conveyed a normal tone, well, normal for a guy like him. "Then together we'll rule. For now."

[Okay so now that that is sorted.

Takeo and Xyxer will be claiming Tenkage jointly.

48 hours to dispute this from now I guess]

He had no idea how long he had both sat and stood there. A few hours at least. It seemed no one wished to challenge Takeo (and Xyxer) for the title of Tenkage. Thus a new age would come about for Tengakure. The age of the Fourth (and Fifth?) Tenkage. Hopefully it would last longer than a few weeks.

No one has challenged the takeover/claiming.

Takeo and Xyxer are now joint Tenkage.
