He finally attends the Exams

Sasuto enters the Ninja Academy with quite the disinterest. The only reason he was here on a Saturday was for one thing, the Genin exam. Why on a Saturday, though? This was to avoid attention, he obviously didn't like being around crowds, and surely people would gather to see him perform the exams. His hair was shorter than he usually kept it, his bangs staying to his chin, and one strand of hair reaching the tip of the top of his nose. His hairw as matted down, slanted right, and pointing away from him as usual.

He wore a black long sleeved shirt, with a high collar, and a white pair of cargo shorts with a kunai pouch on his right medium thigh and a black pair of ninja sandals. His eyes suddenly drained from their bright azure hue, and smoldered into a fluorescent ruby hue. Each eye inaugurated three tomoes, as his optics flickered back and forth with proficiency towards the kekkai genkai of his clan he'd just triggered, the Sharingan.

He spotted a tediously toned aquamarine tenor from beyond a thick pastel white wall, and up ahead there was a copse door. Obviously, it was one of the Academy Instructors, or someone capable of giving the exam.

Good, I'll finally become a genin.

Sadly, it was not. Today was an usual day. If Sasuto had not noticed already, the Academy was empty. That is because today's instructor made quick work of all who wanted to take the exams today. They had all, one by one, failed. And who was to test them today? None other than Kenzo Uchiha, Konoha's newest Jounin.

At the end of the academy's longest hall was a door leading outside to academy's grounds, and upon that door a sign with the words: "Genin Exam Begins Here"

Witnessing a relatively familiar face, Sasuto's eyes slightly widened in surprise as he saw Uchiha, Kenzo. His eyes narrowed quickly, and he headed off down the long hallway, his hands stuffed within the pockets of his white cargo pants which were at the time, apart of his apparel. He was very prepared for this examination, but he wasn't very confident, it wasn't himself to be arrogant, and so he kept a calm, collected gaze on his face. After trailing the entire hallway, he exchanged a small glance with the fellow Uchiha, and exited the Ninja Academy, onto the outer grounds of the precinct.

He stopped and turned, his long bangs covering a small amount of his face as he did such. He awaited for instructions which were fundamental to him starting the examination, due to the fact that of all the things he listened to, he didn't bother to listen to the instructions on how the Genin examinations went on.

Outside stood the real Kenzo, his hands were clasped behind his back, and his eyes looked towards the sky. He did not peer, or peek in Sasuto's direction. He only spoke.

"Do 100 push-ups."

He said, never once turning to look at Sasuto with his eyes.

"Count them outloud."

Sasuto was surprised by the substantial amount of effort that Kenzo wanted him to put in, however it was to become a Genin, and the boy tended to never question authority. So, he got down upon the slightly dusty pale brown floor beneath him, his legs widened out completely, the lower portion of his feet remaining on the ground, as he balanced his arms outwards infront of his slightly skinnier than average torso. He arched his arms slightly, remaining as congruent as the straightness of a desk nearby as he pushed himself downwards, his arms arching further and further, as the tip of his nose reached the floorboards. He murmured, "One.."And rose back up. He indeed wasn't going to be fatigued that easily, and he could bare with pushups.

He arose upright, his arms becoming straight again as he did so. He pushed back downwards, allowing his nose to reach the floor again as he once again spoke. "Two.."This was too slow for him, he was naturally capable of allowing his adrenaline to fill him with exileration. He stopped for about three seconds, and then smiled slightly, allowing his body to shoot downwards quickly, but slow down as his nose touched the floor painlessly due to his halt. He rose back up quickly, and then kept shooting down, constantly counting, "Three...Four...Five...Six...Seven..."Sasuto took the initiative to train his Strength at the time of this Genin examination.

Not once did his waist dip down below the decline or incline of his torso. He remained in the same pose as he continously performed the pushups, "Eight...Nine...Ten, Eleven, Twelve...Thirteen...Fourteen..Fifteen...Sixteen.."He kept going, remaining at a pace he knew he'd be capable of keeping up with. "Seventeen, Eighteen, Nineteen, Twenty...."Sasuto thought to himself, '20% there...this'll be a breeze.'Not once did he allow himself to get cocky, he kept a straight face, continuing the pushups quickly. "Twenty One, Twenty Two, Twenty Three, Twenty Four, Twenty Five, Twenty Six, Twenty Seven, Twenty Eight, Twenty Nine, Thirty."He pumped out the performance of pushups with ease, never allowing himself to stop for a breath, but at the same time keeping the exact same pace regardless of how fast he actually wanted to go.

He allowed his eyes to go from a red hue to a sky blue tone, to conserve his chakra and stamina. "Thirty One, Thirty Two..."He decided to make this a little more...fun for himself. 'I'll incorporate elemental training for my Lightning Release and Strength or rather, Stamina training at the same time.'He murmured. As he shot downwards and rose upright, his hands rapidly clasped together, a kneading of lightning release being displayed as chakra formed a pale tenor around either one of his hands for just a millisecond, also becoming sparks, then fading away. He slammed his hands back onto the floorboards and dipped down, still keeping at his movement, "Thirty Three, Thirty Four, Thirty Five, Thirty Six, Thirty Seven, Thirty Eight, Thirty Nine, Forty.."He kept on going.

Near the time that he reached atleast eighty five, he became slightly tired. Even so, he managed fifteen more pushups as he had to. He dipped down for the last pushup, slight perspiration dripping sweat from his forehead as he rose up after doing it, "One Hundred.."He uttered.

So, the boy could follow direction quite well. It seems that he was a bit disciplined as well. How much training had he truly done after Kenzo had dismissed him last time? Thoughts were endless, and when one wonders it is always best to find the truth themselves. Kenzo wondered exactly how much training Sasuto had actually done. He wondered what the boy's limits were because he had easily executed Kenzo's command.

"Use the 3 basic academy jutsu."

Still, Kenzo had not turned to face Sasuto. He shut his eyes, and opened his mind to all of the world around him.

Uchiha, Sasuto looks at the area before him, he'll defininetly remember this place before he becomes an official Genin. Multiple girls gather at the doorway as he stands in a casual pose, acknowledging Kenzo's upcoming instructions for his Genin examination. The Clone Technique, Transformation Technique and Substitution Technique are the most basic techniques in the world, each of which branch off into more advanced ones. He wasn't planning on putting a show but well...it'd make his training much better. At a speed that was a slight blur, he weaved the Dog, Boar and Ram handseals in order, and then allowed a plume of chakra to flow throughout his body. After doing so, he scanned a girl from head to toe noticeable in the doorway. He perceives her facial and bodily features, along with her shape, her colors present, her clothes, and so on. After doing so, the chakra allows a plume of smoke to temporarily masquerade his new form, and as the smoke fades away, it's revealed that Sasuto had perfectly manifested the Transformation Technique and transformed into the girl. The girls whispered to eachother and giggled affectionately, while the girl he copied blushed. He reverted from such a form and then went on to the Clone Technique. To do the Clone Technique successfully, the user needs to distribute an even amount of chakra throughout the clones. Essentially, the clones must not have too much or too little chakra, or the technique will fail.

Sasuto weaves the Ram, Snake and Tiger handseals proficiently, and allows chakra to gather throughout his network of it rapidly. In a plume of smoke on either side of him, his evenly distributed chakra mimics him perfectly and creates his form, all three of the Sasuto's standing with their hands in their pockets and their eyes devoid of interest in the current situation. The girls blush, and squeal under their breath restlessly. After seeing that he's successfully done the Clone Technique, he disperses the clones. He extends his arm to the right, inclining it and then completely halting it's arch. After doing so, in rapid succession Sasuto forms the Tiger, Boar, Ox, Dog and Snake handseals, and then allows a plume of smoke to cover his now rolled up sleeve revealing the gray arm warmer ranging from his elbow to his lower wrist, right above his black fingerless gloves. The smoke fades away and reveals a fuuma shuriken in Sasuto's possession. Dexterously, he attaches a steel wire and whips it forth, intentionally manipulating it to shoot towards him. It lacerates his stomach, or does it? The second it "stabs" him, a wooden log replaces his figure, and then drops to the earth due to the reduced velocity of the fuuma shuriken because of it's seperation from it's other half of the steel wire attached to it, due to Sasuto's cutting of it after he rematerialized away from the original area.

He walks towards the wooden log and tears out the fuuma shuriken, allowing it to fade back to the plane holding the rest of his stored ninja tools. He rolls his sleeve back down, and allows his eyes to gaze towards Kenzo in questioning. During his waiting, he thinks back on his life before he was ready to become a Genin. Eight years ago he was just four years old, awaiting to be trained by his older sister, Uchiha Mizunae, the same wonderful woman who served as a motherly figure for him and his younger sister Sasuna, as well as writing the fuuinjutsu on Sasuto's arm warmers. "Nee-san, when are you going to start training me?"Sasuto asks in questioning, his vibrant eyes looking up at his sister, who looks at him in a return with a generous smile on her face. "Soon...But first, I'll get you a haircut.."She says, grinning at him affectionately. "Awwww!"Later that time, he sat within a chair, sheers to his hair. She clips off the lengthy spikes of his hair, and then trims his bangs hanging on either side of his face. After finishing, he gets up immediately, pleased with her being finally finished. He was just about to run off, when he turns around, his lips puffed out rebelliously, "Thanks, Nee-san.."He grins with a cock of his head to the side, and runs off to go train with Nakai.

Sasuto thinks about how recently he got a haircut to celebrate his bravery to become a Genin. He fades away from his memories, and allows himself to think about the future ahead of him with no worries in mind, but only hope. For, he has inherited the Will of Fire of his village, and in his bright eyes, his Wll of Fire will keep him alive in the grandest of situations. He opens his eyes, which have now formed to become a crimson hue, with three tomoes near the outer edge of either pupil, full of optimism, but at the same time seriousness, required for the new career ahead of him, that new career being that of a shinobi of Konohagakure no Sato, of pride, of bravery, of will, of all of those things that make people laugh and cry, live and die, all of the sorts, because his determination is what leads him throughout such a treacherous world that some are unable to deal with. For he is beyond his age, a figment of the long gone past, now back to bring reminiscence to the shinobi world and the people whom inhabit it.

His mind whirls with thoughts, actions, and meaning. To end a life is simple... To shape it... that is the proof of power. Yet Kenzo had always relied on one tool and one only... His fists. If it took pounding the child behind him into a mass of meat and blood to turn that boy into a man, then so be it, but that was for another today. Today, Kenzo would reward that lad. Reaching into his Jonin Flak Jacket, Kenzo retrieved the one and only extra headband that he carried upon his persona today. He had not expected to be give it away so easily, but Sasuto had not complained, not even once, about Kenzo having him do more than what was neccesary. He turned around, extending his arm to Sasuto. In that hand, a small bag, and a headband. Kenzo said nothing, and his stare was as cold as ever. If and when Sasuto toke the headband, after a nod of his head, Kenzo would vanish in a swirl of leaves and wind.

Sasuto accepted the headband and the bag, wondering what exactly it contained. Before he could ask, Kenzo was gone, having vanished in a tempest of leaves. He arose his bangs with his left hand and strapped the headband around his forehead with his right, and allowed himself to be engulfed in hugs from the girls that were originally in the doorway but now applauding him for his promotion. He felt revitalized after completing the test, and after showing off a small smile that lasted a second, he left the room to go elsewhere.

[ 2000 Ryo accepted, 1479 words of training, equal to 7 stats in all. With the promotion from Academy Student to Genin, I've gained 22 stats from this. ]
