Walking amongst the people [Open, NK]

Takeo had now been in power for a few days. And for the second time he would be throwing himself out into the world. Today he had decided to just go for a stroll through the village, meeting and greeting and the like. Perhaps now that the topic was no kill people would actually post. Atop his head was the Tenkage hat. He didn't leave the office without it these days. He cared not for going around without be recognized. Other than the hat however, he simply wore some plain clothing. Heck he kinda looked like some random guy who had stolen a ha-...oh wait. Regardless, he was walking through the streets. A general wave here and there, a greeting to a random passerby. All in all some rather boring routine things. Maybe he'd actually find someone interesting to talk too. Unlikely though.

Grocery shopping you know. Youta was going for a walk that included paying a visit to the local shop for some mundane stuff. She left Cael at home, there was no need to bring him along every time and she did not plan on being gone for long. Also, the dragon was getting smarter every day, he was quite capable of not killing himself or setting the house on fire, so it should be fine.

As she was walking, thought of recent event were swirling in Youta's mind. The man that had nearly fatally injured her before had become a Tenkage, although jointly with another man she did not really know. And honestly, that wasn't a big issue to the girl. Yes, the two Tenkages - Shinji and Denkiteki were both gone for months and it was only obvious that eventually someone would step up to lead the village. But her announcement the other day was what shocked her some (oh yes, she was there, listening to it while leaning to a wall behind a corner. In fact, living in the section of the village with low buildings, the whole thing was so close to her house she could probably have heard it in her bedroom). The girl simply couldn't believe it that the Tenkages abandoned them. Especially Den, who saved her from certain death and who would now be treated as an enemy if he was to set foot into the village. Of course, there could be a number of different explanations. They could have been defeated, although unlikely, or captured. It was probably a right decision to consider them at least compromised. However this was to turn out, Youta was rather uncertain with the future now an the path this leadership might take them.

Takeo had lost track of time, as he often did. Right now he wasn't really paying attention to what was going on. Just walking around and that. However his attention was diverted soon enough, when he heard a voice. His head turned to where it came from and he smiled. "Ah, this hat was given to me as a gift from the Third, before he left." He replied to the stranger. Despite the boy's rather odd appearance he still had to act pleasant. Deciding he might as well get to know some more people he spoke once more, "I don't believe we've met before. My name is Takeo." He held out his hand with a smile, though telling the boy his name felt quite weird. But he did it on the off chance the boy was just a visitor who had no idea what had happened recently. Maybe he should just approach everyone with that in mind. It was as he was talking he spotted someone out of corner of his vision. If he recalled it was that kill he bravely carried to the hospital in order to save her life...after he cut her limbs off. Takeo panicked for a moment, what if news of that ever got out. Would that be bad publicity? Maybe he would have to deal with her at some point, in one way or another.

Altar was walking along the street, pausing here and there to make idle chat with the few people he knew, look at some street vendors, and just to stay in one place for a while. It felt nice to be outside among other people for once, seeing as he mostly lounged around inside or went out at night. On one such pause, he was talking to a friend of his, a decent sized crowd giving them cover from anyone's eyes, when he saw it. A man, not too far off, wearing the Tenkage hat. Ah, so that was the new Tenkage. One of them, at least. Altar searched his memory, eventually pulling out the name Takeo. He believed that was correct, that is, if he heard the speech right. That memory dawned on him with a small feeling of sadness. Given, Altar had never known the past Tenkages, but he had always wanted to meet them. Now it appeared he'd never get the chance.

Altar would give a sigh, deciding that it sounded like fun to tail this new Tenkage. He was somewhat eager to learn more of him. So, the notion decided on, Altar would begin moving with a small crowd, after bidding farewell to his friend, and start moving after the Tenkage.

After a small while of tailing him, Altar saw the Tenkage make a small meet and greet with another person. Altar would give a smirk at this, waiting for their short introduction to one another to be over before moving in behind the Tenkage, announcing himself a short while before he'd actually reach him.

"Hey, you're the new Tenkage. Takeo, right? Name's Altar" Altar would say, extending a hand towards the Tenkage, hoping he wasn't interrupting the conversation between Takeo and the other boy. After a small pause, ample time for Takeo to introduce himself, Altar would ask the question that had been bothering him a while now.

"So, Takeo, what are your plans for Tenga? Are you going to be a benevolent Tenkage, or do you seek war and destruction? Will you allow us freedom, or are you going to be a tyrant?" Altar would ask, all the words flowing out fast and breathless. He hadn't meant to sound disrespectful, it was just him being curious, as he seemed to always be about matters such as this. Granted, he had never been deep into politics, but philosophy and philosophical conversation could hold his attention for hours on end. Waiting for his answer, Altar took some time to study Takeo. He noticed a tinge of panic in his eyes for a second, but it quickly dissipated. He also felt a...malevolent aura and feeling almost radiating from him. He'd noticed this before on others, normally a sign of quick temper or evil intent. So then, he thought, if things get bad, i'm outta here.

Xyxer Gyojin had been following Takeo for quite a while now, dressed in his ANBU gear that made him seem like quite an imposing figure really. He had a mask that resembled a scarecrow, a symbol to induce fear, pulled over his head with a decorative noose tying it around his neck securely. On top of the mask, he had the mask he had received while he was an ANBU; the reptilian mask. Ever changing and adapting the reptilians were.. A pinnacle of adaption, surely.

Along the rooftops he had hopped like an agile cat, following him to ensure that this new, statue of a man did not come to any harm, that would be an atrocity! It would be very bad indeed. Perhaps Xyxer would be forced to jump onto the male and execute him quickly to ensure he was not in too much pain. He was a friend like that, you see. It was not too hard for him to follow the silver haired male through the civilians of Tengakure, they all moved quite slowly and the large hat on top of his head was also a beacon to where he was. Only two people currently stood out to him; one that had been following the Tenkage for a while,and  one that had insinuated Takeo was a thief which brought a smirk to his face. Silent he stood atop the roofs, a bad omen.

Youta would rather walk by really. Although she would notice the Tenkage hat and the one wearing it, who she after all already knew. If the person was alone, she might have came up to talk to him, but seeing him being busy with other villagers the girl decided not to bother herself nor him.

Her passing eyes noticed the shadowy figure on the roof, the mask of an ANBU. She would remember her master and the feline mask of Yozora that Youta carried with her. Eventually she would learn the truth, maybe she could ask somebody about it. But now wasn't the time for that. Lingering there only a few seconds the Genin decided to keep walking.

Goon had stopped to exchange pleasantries with the man. "Ahhh so your the new kage, I'm just Goon, he said. Before he was even able to get another sentence out, Goon was interrupted by the blunt, rudeness that come out of Altar's mouth. Goon stood and there as the kid cut him off, he felt a tad bit disrespected by him. 

He laughed at Altar's questions, "I think you could of put that in a better way, than saying it so rudely like that, and maybe you should let people finish talking before you rudely interrupt." He said calmly to altar and then turned back to Takeo, "but anyways, even though he said it rudely, i too would also like to know your plans for the village." Goon got a shaky feeling as if he was being watched, but as he looked around he didn't see much. It didn't seem as anybody was paying attention to the three standing there.

He couldn't shake the feeling he had, but it made him watch his surround. He waited to hear Takeo's reply to Altar.

Takeo smiled at the boy's name. It was rather unique if anything. He was about to reply when he was stopped by the arrival of another boy, who introduced himself also. Takeo shook the boy's hand on reflex and replied with a smile towards him, "Pleasure to meet you, and you are correct." What came next however, Takeo did not expect. Already someone was asking questions like this? Perhaps it was an enemy spy, seeking to make him look bad in the eyes of the people. Takeo would not stand for this, and as such he would slit the boy's throat with a kunai instantly. That is, he would have if it were a few months ago. Luckily Takeo was not like that anymore. He had changed, sorta. Now he would only cut people's limbs off it they really deserved it. Takeo smiled when the boy called Goon came to his defense, and then immediately the smile was gone when he asked for Takeo to answer. 'I hate kids.' He thought, pausing for a moment in order to think of an answer. "I have no plans to be a tyrant. You are free to do as you wish, as long as it coincides with the rules of the village of course. I do not seek war as of right now. Though no one can predict how the future will turn out. Perhaps we may end up in one regardless of my unwillingness to enter one." About halfway through that he had actually stopped talking directly to the boy, and began to just talk to himself. "Firstly however I will need to make sure the village is stable. Den seemed to have spe-." He paused, remembering that he wasn't actually in his office. Thus he just remained silent to see if his answer satisfied these two pipsqueaks.

Altar was blown away by Goon's snide comments. That sure was unexpected. He hadn't meant to be rude, but he sure as hell wasn't going to sugar coat his comments. He'd say what he damn well pleased. This Tenkage was a man, he shouldn't be offended by simple questions and words. Now, if he had come into the convesation and completely disregarded Goon and flipped off Takeo, THAT would be something to be offended by. Well, now one thing was for sure, he wasn't going to take this. Disrespect was something he didn't handle well, coming from anyone.

After Takeo answered, Altar would nod his head and smile, happy that Takeo seemed to be a decent and capable leader. He would then turn to Goon, still smiling, and extend a greeting towards him.

"Hey, your name's Goon, right? I heard it coming up. Look, sorry for interrupting like I did. I was just really excited to meet the Tenkage and ask him that." Altar would say, waiting for Goon's response. After he had made a response, Altar would feign turning to leave, then come back around and start his redemption. Goon had dissed him, after all. That wasn't gonna fly.

Altar would start his flurry by aiming a left and a right at Goon's gut, which would drive the air out of him. He'd then feign a right to the gut, then torque and throw a left for his face. After that hit, he'd start aiming more at the face, sending random punches towards him, to keep him guessing on direction of the attack. After the flurry aimed at the face, Altar would send a knee in at Goon, aiming for the gut. If that hit landed, then Altar would send one more right to Goon's face, putting more power into it that the others, hopefully leaving Goon either dazed or on the ground.

After the short confrontation was over, Altar would take his leave, nodding at the Tenkage as he passed him, giving a short wave in his direction as well. After that began the long walk home.
