Light of a New Genin (NK/P)
Mon May 26, 2014 5:31 pm
It was a bright day for Yukigakure no Sato and for once the snow was falling slow and lightly, the day was still so young very much like Naka Uchiha. He was walking through the village the new title of Genin had been bestowed upon him, he tied the headband he had been given to the weapon pouch strapped across his body. Naka knew with this rank he wasn't even close to being considered honorable in his elite clan so he had to train, but today was strange as it seemed no one was around which he found strange. He continued on the walk towards an open tundra nothing but snow and a few broken bare trees dotted the white landscape, he realized that he was not gonna be able to train much by himself but something was better than nothing.

Youka had been in the snow for a while now with his back leaning against a tree that had been broken in half by the harsh winds. His eyes stayed shut as he meditated on what his next steps were going to be. He was wearing his armor as usual, it's sleek black color and lean design showed off his body design nicely. The cloak that covered his head turned white due to the snow that continued to fall and the cape blew in the deadly winds.
As he stayed still a small chakra signature interrupted his thoughts as his left eye opened to look beyond his demon mask that covered his face in the direction of the feeling he had. From what he could tell it was a Yuki nin, why was the child so far out by themselves? Perhaps they were trying to train on their own, well Youka was here and he was always ready to test out any ninja of the village. Pushing off from the tree Youka began walking in the direction of the boy his feet crushing the snow beneath him and his weight sinking into the snow with each lift of his legs. Sighing before talking he opened his mouth to begin to speak.
"Hello friend, why are you out this far"

Naka had reached a point far outta the way from people, or so he thought before the stranger approached him speaking quite friendly to him. "Hello, I came out here to do a little training. You see fresh outta academy I need to train my body and mind." While saying this he began to think, "Wonder if he wants to train? Or if he is going to turn out to be the wrong kinda ninja. My sharingan should keep me alive if he tries to harm me." Naka then leaned back putting more weight behind him on to his right foot as he entered a casual position, he then began to speak calmly and smooth towards the stranger "By the way, I am Naka." He figured the Uchiha symbol on his back would be enough information so he would not have to state the obvious.

The boy obviously had no clue who Youka was or he would have already started running, but this was a good thing as it meant his nature had not proceeded him and frightened the young one. The boy had said he had just graduated from the Yuki academy, which meant he was a fresh genin for Maku to teach.
"If you're out here to train, then by all means allow me to help you, I'm always up for a good game of tag, and I haven't gotten to stretch since I left the hospital."
Youka looked the child over to see if there were any identifying markers of the childs power or what he could do and the only thing he could notice was the boys Uchiha symbol. Youka had just recently found out what that sign meant as he spent nights delving into Uchiha history, maybe this child knew of more advanced forms.
Youka smiled through his demons mask as he thought about and tried to guess at what this boys abilities were.
"My name is Youka, pleasure to meet you, Naka."

Naka felt like this man had many thoughts rushing around but it mattered not to Naka, the man had offered to help Naka train. Leaping back Naka landed in a taijutsu stance with his legs straight and te back foot creating a right angle from the other, one hand extended out in a curved fashion while the other behind his back. He was ready to spar and so he spoke calmly "I am no fool you are stronger than me I can tell, but a spar would do me good despite likely outcomes." He then awaited Youka for his next set of words or actions, the anticipation was killing Naka well metaphorically. He knew that Youka was a much stronger ninja than he was but that didn't matter to Naka training mattered and that is how he wanted to seem, he knew one slip and injury was going to occur he also knew that nothing he can do will be enough but it is worth a shot to maybe impress the other ninja.

The boy jumped backwards into a ready stance showing that he was indeed ready to begin their sparring match. Youka would use this opportunity to work on his own footwork as well and get ready for the coming times by pushing this child to his own limits as well. Youka took no stance but instead began walking forward at a mild pace through the snow still, he listened to Naka talk about how he knew their power were at different levels. Power mattered not when you could use the environment to your advantage, it only supplemented the strong of mind.
"Power means nothing if you can't use it"
He would press off of his left leg now into a bounding run in the snow crushing the snow beneath him. In moments he would be on the boy and if his positioned hadn't changed he would launch a straight punch towards the boys chest at a speed and power that he felt the boy could manage. This punch would carry forward with his momentum, pushing the boy backwards as well if it was blocked and still carrying Youka forward if the boy moved.

Naka watched the boy as he continued towards Naka growing in speed, he began analyzing the next few moves that could be nearing, a punch was aimed for Naka's chest. Naka slid his body to the side and kicked upwards if it connected the high kick would initiate leaf whirlwind, which would be followed with high kick, low kick, high kick, high kick, low kick, high kick, low kick, and then a high kick if the combo was complete the final kick would be used to push off his opponent and land 4 meters away from the senior ninja Youka (Current Speed: 15/Strength: 13) . If his attempt to attack failed then he would be prepared to defend himself and create a distance of at least 2 meters, he knew how hard the spar would be as they both had little to nothing to train with.

Youka could clearly follow the pattern of the boys movements as he moved to the side as Youka's body passed through. He watched closely as the leg came upwards, this was easy to avoid Youka folded his punching arm upwards and dropped his weight downwards with his elbow dropping on to the boys leg. It seemed the boy was trying to gauge their difference in power as he created more distance after the attack failed to reach it's mark.
"Interesting"
Youka would stand back up from the snow if nothing else intruded his path. Should he use a jutsu or continue to play with the child and enjoy just being able to stretch his limbs for once. Catching his tration back in the snow and removing his hood from his head, his red furled hair would blow in the wind as his demons mask could be fully seen now. Youka could hear the soft hums of the entity of the one that didn't care of anything playing in his head stop, which either meant the presence had went to sleep or it too was watching this child.
Again Youka would turn into a slight jog to cover the two meters this time not attacking, but just barreling towards the child, if he didn't move he wouuld get run over effortlessly. Youka wanted to see the child attack instead of react so he could read the boys movements more.

Naka watched his adversary as he had began jogging towards him, he looked at Youka but was uncertain of what the plan of action was this time. Naka was unsure how to attack Youka as he speeded towards him, but then a plan of action came to Naka's mind as he darted in a jog towards Youka hoping to throw the opponent off. His right hand had slid into his weapons pouch and had now become hidden by the outside appearance of his pouch, drawing a shuriken in his hand Naka he continued increasing to a sprint and as the two began to reach one another Naka side stepped to go directly passed Youka but moments before he flicked the shuriken towards Youka hoping the momentum would cause a collision of the two of course it was aimed to barely graze Youka. If the shuriken was dodged it would continue forward on the straight path and return to where Naka would have stopped extending his hand to catch his shuriken.

Were they going to collide, was the boy seriously going to see if he could take a hit head on. Youka watched as the child reached into his pouch. Interesting, it seemed the child had a plan that might involve some type of weapon. Youka's armor was was durable enough to take most weapon damage and he assumed whatever the boy was pulling out it would not do nearly enough damage to scratch his armor so he brushed it aside.
As their distance closed and the boy flicked the shuriken towards Youka, Youka watched its trajectory and found that by the course it was following it would just barely nick him. With this info he payed full attention to the boy that had now side stepped to his side. Youka extended his right forearm to the side so if the boy didn't make any dodging motion he would catch a clothesline to his chest, knocking the wind from his lungs and placing the boy on his back. It would be at this moment that the shuriken would hit his armor with a light thunk sound and fall to the snow harmlessly.
Turning his body to face Naka after the child would hit the snow Youka would raise his left leg in a stomping manner and bring it down on his chest with force but not enough to do any real long term damage, and even if it did, Youka was a medic so he would patch the child up right after they were done.
