Takato learns the basics

Takato had just recently had a spar with Ryuu Hyuuga. Ryuu had helped Takato learn the surface walking technique as well as the clone technique, but now it was time for him to learn the remaining jutsu so he could finally take his Genin Exam and take his first official step in becoming an actual shinobe. Takato walked into training grounds and hoped that he would run into Ryuu, so Takato began walking around in search of Ryuu.

Ryuu watched as Takato desperately looked for Ryuu, eager to learn. Ryuu then laid back on his branch, seeing if Takato would actually remembered that Ryuu was always on the same branch when he was in the training grounds. Sooner than he thought, his eyes became heavy and he fell asleep.

Takato continues trying to find Ryuu, when he suddenly remembers something, "He is always in that branch up there... I can't believe that I forgot about that!" Takato then ran up the side of the tree and when he got up to the highest branch under the leaves, he saw Ryuu there sleeping. Takato then landed on the branch as quietly as possible, once Takato had realized that Ryuu was still sleeping, Takato slowly walked on the side of the branch creeping up on Ryuu, preparing to push him off the branch, when Takato got close enough to Ryuu, he outstretched his arms pushing Ryuu off of the branch.

Ryuu heard Takato creeping up on him on the side of the branch, but Ryuu kept his eyes closed, preparing to counter Takato's attempt, the moment that he had felt Takato's hands touch his side, he grabbed both of his hands and sent him flying down toward the ground, "NOT TODAY!" Ryuu yelled as he watched Takato heading toward the ground. Ryuu then jumped up and began cackling.
