Beauty in Simplicity!

Despite joining a little late into the year, Naokima was already right on up there with the other Academy students. The classroom was surprisingly quiet while the teacher spoke, a feat for young students as the lesson about the substitution jutsu went on. At the end of the class they had all learned the proper hand signs and been instructed as how to develop chakra for the technique. children left and right were already testing it out, playing with the motions and well on their way to learning.
I must be able to beat them. he said in his mind watching failure after failure.
   Naokima thought about what it is he wanted, he stood strong and controlled his breathing. His hands flew through the motions as fast as they could he felt the energy pulsing through him. As it all rose up he yelled at the top of his lungs...
"Clone Technique!"
   Nothing happened, he was just like everyone else, despite feeling the power urge through him there was nothing, not the slightest concept of a clone. Some near by kids were laughing which made Naokima feel shy about trying again. Pride took hold of him, he would be able to do this, it was as easy as growing flowers he told himself. He channeled longer this time, focusing hard as his hands blurred through the signs one more time. Gritting his teeth instead of shouting to preserve concentration he finished the hand symbols and willed into existence... a clone. One that looked like him but smaller, and with blue eyes. A few ids clapped, not knowing the difference but it burned in Naokima's mind. Why wasn't it perfect? What had he done wrong? It was time. He was going to put every fiber of his being into the next attempt and he was going to nail it. After doing it once, it would be easy; His body would remember the feeling and be able to replicate it.
  Taking stance again he started with his hands together, his eyes closed, his stance strong and his heart burning. A few daisies sprout up around his feet from his focus although he hadn't noticed.
I got you this time...He told himself as his muscles tensed up and he felt the chakra flowing deep in his body. Heading towards his limbs about to explode out if he willed it. His hands moved again into the appropriate symbols and with that his eyes open as he willed his clone into existence. It was perfect! Just like him! He had done it! As he began to cheer he realized it had tuckered him out and he fell backwards onto his butt. Laying there panting, he could feel in his body the fact that it remembered. He made sure to repeat the process just in his mind so it too would remember. The teacher smiled and gave Naokima a pat on the back. It hadn't taken him long, and he knew he could do more sooner.

Make sure you put the word count in your post and what you're training for approval. WC is 501, you get this jutsu free after completing the genin exam though along with others so no need to train it o.o you get 2 stat points as well every 200 words=1 stat point.

So now I have 4 stat points? I was told I didn't have too train it but wanted to for practice.

you start with 30 stat points o.o so if you haven't done any more training you now have 32 stat points all together. You only get two from this post.
