Hiding like a mole jutsu training
Thu Sep 11, 2014 12:52 am
Mitsui thought the next jutsu to learn would be the hiding like a mole jutsu. Mitsui knew the basic idea behind the jutsu. Mitsui thought again that getting a book would be a good idea so that he could have a reference to what he was supposed to do. Mitsui first walked into the library and looked for a book that had how to do the hiding like a mole jutsu. Mitsui found a book called "Jutsu's for Jaguars", Mitsui thought that this was the stupidest book title that could have existed. Mitsui had to read the book, "Calculus for Cats" and He also saw that the best book for learning how to play with electronics was a book called "Electronics for Dogs". Mitsui when he heard of those two books he thought were stupid titles but this book title was even worse. Mitsui thought he may as well give reading this book a try. Mitsui thought that even though the title was crappy, the book was actually not bad. Mitsui then decided to read farther into it. Mitsui found the book had decent detail and that it would not be hard to learn from this book.
Mitsui then decided to try learning hiding like a mole. Mitsui first was told to put the chakra on his feet so that he can sink into the ground. Mitsui tried it and ended up going nowhere. Mitsui knew there was something wrong with what he did since the book looked credible and Mitsui was never good at managing chakra. Mitsui read the book more and it said try to make the ground touching you soft. Mitsui attempted this and he had a small amount of success doing this. Mitsui fell way into the ground landing in the sewers. Mitsui thought it was good that he did not end up falling so far as to suffocate. Mitsui then thought he has to get someone to watch him so that he can be saved if he messes up. Mitsui then tried again. This time he started digging and crashed into the foundation of a building. Mitsui was glad to feel that even though it really hurt as he was speeding downwards a moment ago. Mitsui thought that it was good he got some safety in case he does not have enough control of the jutsu. Mitsui then thought that he needed to learn to control his movements underground. Mitsui then tried putting the chakra into his front and all he noticed was that his body was being compressed. Mitsui then surfaced by no longer putting chakra into the jutsu and he floated back up.
Mitsui then read more of the book. Mitsui was told in the book that he was supposed to put one side of chakra to push his body and the other side would have chakra as well as that has to soften the ground in front to eliminate the resistance so that movement would be possible. Mitsui then thought that was why his chest was being compressed. He did not soften the ground and the push started compressing his chest. Mitsui then wondered why he was able to just fall down when he put the chakra under his feet. Mitsui had a lot of thought and then noticed that he was softening the ground and that the push was not happening and when that happened, he was actually moving downwards with gravity. Mitsui was frightened about it because he might have suffocated and nobody would have been able to figure out where he had went before he would die. Mitsui thought he should stay since the building foundation would be able to tell him he is going too deep.
Mitsui then proceeded to practice around moving himself under the ground. Mitsui never had good control of where he would go so this took hours of going in the direction he had not intended to go. Mitsui thought about how he would tell which direction he would be going and how he would make his chakra grind up the ground he would be moving through and the other side pushing him along. Mitsui was very puzzled at how this would happen.
Mitsui then thought that he should try using his chakra to grind rocks into sand grains. Mitsui grabbed a rock and he thought he was grinding the rock and instead the rocks were being destroyed like what he was doing when he did the bedrock coffin. Mitsui then thought he must do a lot of very fine cuts to make the tiny rocks that sand grains are. Mitsui was extremely slow at this. It would take him 20 minutes to make a 3 inch diameter rock ball become sand grains.
Mitsui was very unhappy about it. Mitsui then thought why not try practicing this as it will make the resistance of moving much easier. Mitsui then practiced and kept doing it until he could barely control his movements. Mitsui then got tired and had to eat some ramen again. Mitsui then thought about what he had to do. Mitsui thought what the book said made a lot of sense since one side does need to push whereas the other side needs to grind the ground up. Mitsui then finished his ramen and went back to training grounds.
Mitsui then proceeded to dive under and noticed these weird feelings as he was under ground. Mitsui then went back up and looked at the training grounds. Mitsui turned the training grounds into quick sand. Mitsui thought that this jutsu was not supposed to leave the tunneled dirt in that kind of shape.
Mitsui read the book and saw that he was supposed to also use some chakra out the back to re-harden the dirt to how it originally was. Mitsui was now really confused as he now had to figure out how to do that. Mitsui then tried diving under the ground and he forgot to soften the dirt first. Mitsui actually ended up hardening it and making a lot of pain when he was going through that dirt. Mitsui then got out and he forgot to re-harden the dirt and again he made quick sand. Mitsui then dived into the ground again and this time he moved at about 2 miles an hour since he put almost no effort into pushing and all his effort was concentrated on re-hardening the dirt and soften the dirt. Mitsui realized he was being counterproductive doing that. Mitsui then continued doing this process until he hit the foundation of the building again. Mitsui then tried putting some chakra into the moving forward and putting some chakra into the softening of the dirt and some chakra into the re-hardening of the dirt. Mitsui practiced it until he was able to do all of them relatively evenly.
Mitsui then tried timing his speed and he started this jutsu. Mitsui then started his stop watch when he started at one end of the building and would stop it when he got to the other end. Mitsui was doing this on the side of the building or he would bang his head into the concrete foundation. Mitsui then timed himself and found that his speed was about as fast as a snail almost literally.
Mitsui read the book and it said that the speed of travel of this jutsu is about 2 times the speed of a man running. This is if the user does not have a lot of chakra. Mitsui would then read the actual ratio of chakra towards softening dirt, chakra for re-hardening the dirt and chakra for pushing forward. Mitsui then read this it said: sixty percent for pushing forward, twenty percent for softening the dirt and the other twenty percent for re-hardening the dirt. Mitsui was doing one third for pushing, one third for softening and the other third for re-hardening. Mitsui thought about it and realized that he could put way more effort into moving forward because the dirt is relatively soft.
Mitsui got decent at this and then thought about that weird feeling underground again. Mitsui figured the book had something to say about it. Mitsui read, "These weird feelings are the sensing of the magnetic waves that are projected from things that are on the ground". Mitsui thought to himself, "Very Interesting". Mitsui continued reading, "These magnetic waves are only sensed when something is touching the ground. If something is touching an object that is touching the ground, than that object cannot be sensed this way. Mitsui then thought he would be able to stay relatively near the surface because of this sensing. Mitsui then spent the next 10 minutes getting used to this new sense and eventually moved on to the next part of the book. Mitsui read on. The next exercise is to tunnel through bedrock. Mitsui almost fainted reading this since bedrock is many times harder than dirt is.
Mitsui read the book. One third push, one third soften and the other third is re-harden. Mitsui was thinking that that reminded him of what he was doing before. Mitsui then thought about where bedrock would be. As Mitsui moved away from Iwagakure, Mitsui was thinking about where he could practice this jutsu. Mitsui looked around and found a large statue. Mitsui was considering tunneling through this statue until he thought about what if people saw this. Mitsui could turn the statue into a pile of sand if he messed up. Mitsui then looked around for other places to do this jutsu. Mitsui then realized that the concrete foundation might be similar. Mitsui then dived back into the ground and dug quickly towards the foundation and banged his head on the foundation. Mitsui was in a lot of pain but was still conscious. Mitsui then surfaced and asked a medic ninja he saw practicing a jutsu and it seemed like she actually knew what she was doing. Mitsui then got free medical treatment and was quite happy to have that. Mitsui then thought about where to go. Mitsui then thought that he could try putting more chakra into re-hardening the dirt to become like bedrock.
Mitsui did this for a while but it took a really long time. Mitsui ran into one of the hardened spots but this time he was actually able to not get hurt from it. Mitsui then practiced doing this until Mitsui could no longer find soft dirt. Mitsui then tried doing this jutsu again for bedrock. Mitsui then manage do slowly move through the rock and since he had some practice doing this, Mitsui still was reasonably fast and was able to go through this hardened rock. Mitsui then read more of the book. Mitsui then read that he was supposed to do another one for even harder rock. Mitsui thought that the concrete was a good idea to dive through. Mitsui first tried putting forty percent of his chakra into re-hardening the rock, forty percent of chakra into softening the rock in front of him and twenty percent of this chakra into moving forward. Mitsui then tried going through the concrete but he banged his head again.
Mitsui thought that maybe he had not had enough chakra period so Mitsui then went back to the ramen place and ordered some more ramen. Mitsui then decided to get a second order after his first since he was still a little hungry. Mitsui was then asked to try this new ramen dish that the restaurant's chef invented. Mitsui looked and he decided to try it. Mitsui liked the dish a lot and told the waiter to tell the chef that his new dish was good. Mitsui paid the bill and then left again. Mitsui tried diving through the concrete and was actually able to go through it. Mitsui decided to keep practicing and was eventually able to get a feel for when he needed to change chakra ratios so that he could efficiently move through the ground.
