Team 4's Conditioning [P]
Fri Sep 12, 2014 5:31 pm
Team four's leader, Samaruo Uchiha, returns the to the training grounds. He surveys the open field of green grass, including the clear blue lake that could be seen in the distance. Finally, he takes a moment, feeling the light brush of air blow against him. Normally, he long hair would flow with it, but no longer. Just as he woke up this mourning, he made the arrangements of having his long jet black hair cut. Now, his hair is short, the end of it curl slightly to make it appear more pleasing. He figured, with his new team, why not start take on new look? His clothing however, was the same. He wore his short sleeved black high collared shirt, the Uchiha crest was planted on the back. Over the shirt, was a dark grey Flak jacket, wore by most jounin. His headband rest on his forehead, his new short hair's curls curl over the headband slightly. His light grey pants were long, his low shins were wrapped with white tape. He wore his special black sandals as well, along with his special black gloves too. Finally, his pouch was attached to the back of his waist, towards the right. This, was his standard attire, with no hope of change towards it.
After taking his moment, the sun now slightly tilting towards the west, he walks forwards towards the large pillar, left by his student, Tatsuya, he makes a not to remind him to remove it, as others use this field too. He stops near the pillar, his back against it, leaning as he waited for the rest of Team 4 to arrive. He happily waits. He takes pride in passing on his knowledge to other students. He feels out for any visitors with his chakra senses, as he had mastered these skills, just as his students will, today.

Kasai opened his eyes, and knew that it had been twenty-four hours since Samaruo had left. He would be returning at any moment.
Slowly standing from his meditative posture, he looks towards the wall of the forest, out towards the training field. He knew today would be good, he had been pondering it for the duration of a day now.
He briefly wondered how much the other members of his team slept, or perhaps if they even had a bed to do.
He began to walk out, to the field, and saw Samaruo.
He tilted his head upon seeing him, noticing that Tatsuya was not there as well. He would no doubt arrive soon, though.
"Hello, Senei," he said, upon getting close enough to be within earshot of Samaruo.
"I believe the third will be here shortly."
He nodded his head in a half bow, respecting the leader.

[[Hey Samaruo in the last thread we did, Tatsuya did in fact return the terrain back to its normal state.]]
[Intro]
Tatsyua walked briskly to were his first real day of training with a team would begin. He feels excited but a little nervous for he want to impress his sensei and worries that he might let him down. Then thinking back to when Samaruo said the positions they would play. For Kasai he would be an offensive player but for Tatsuya a support character. Tatsuya knew the importance of a support ninja but worried that his skills and him self as a ninja would be over looked. Tatsuya wanted to play a huge part in shaping the village and he wanted his name to be known. He did slightly think this idea was dicers and that selfish dicers like striving for recognition was something that should not be encouraged, for all shinobi should work for the grater good of there village and the world. Tatsuya gets close to the training grounds and mutters to him self "Maybe its because I never had a family or some one to look out for me." As he then kicks a small rock off the path.
[Enter]
He then looks out from the trees and into the field to see Kasai and Samaruo standing, then muttering once more. "But that shinobi matter because now I do." Tatsuya dashes out to meet up with his new family and the first thing he says to them with a big happy smile. "Good morning!"

Shortly after, the two arrived one after another. The first being Kasai, who Samaruo greeted as he was greeted. He looks towards Kasai, "Hello, Kasai, and yes, he should arrive shortly. I don't believe Tatsuya to be the late type", he says, looking outwards towards the entrance, expecting the arrival of the third member. Samaruo had his dealings with late students, it wasn't too much of a bother to him. Except when the lateness tend to happen on many occasions, that's when Samaruo has to deal out disciplinary actions.
Moments later, viewing ahead, he sees Tatsuya enter. The team was all here. He does the same as he did for Kasai. he gave his attention to Tatsuya, "Welcome Tatsuya, so now that everyone is here, we should get started. What I'm about to teach you all will put you ahead of most genin, possibly chuunin too."He steps back, eyes both of his students. Samaruo would give them a bit of background of the special skill, as it is needed to help them understand the nature of the skill.
"Most Shinobi, if not all, rely on their senses. Our senses determine what we perceive, and how to react. What we hear, what we see, and what we smell, is only as strong as we need them to be, basically, the more conditioned you are, the stronger your senses. I say this because what you two will be trained to sense, is chakra. Now, in your cases, you senses aren't attuned enough to where you can sense chakra, because you haven't been conditioned enough to the point where you actually start using your "chakra senses". From what I've seen, you start to take notice of these senses when you've been in a lot of combat, where your senses are pushed to their limits. The thing is, you are so accustomed to using your basic senses, that you never notice yourself even using your chakra senses, until now." Samaruo pauses slightly, waiting to see if Tatsuya or Kasai had any questions before he moved on, as this was somewhat a lot to cover. "You have the potential to use this ability, since we all have and use the chakra within us. All we have to do is condition you two to the point where you can unlock this ability at an early stage, and I know what we need to do."
Samaruo reaches into his back pouch, retrieving a palm sized case, which he opened with both his hands. He displays the contents to them, the two special stones were displayed to both of them. "These stones have the ability to absorb chakra, i'm going to place these stones behind my back, and placed one each in my palm, all you have to do is sense which stone possesses the chakra." He does such as he stated while he was talking. Now, he extends both his arms outwards, towards Tatsuya preferably, as he wanted him to go first. Of course, he himself suppresses his own chakra after he poured some of his own into one of the stones, to avoid confusion. The case itself was placed back into his pouch when he placed his hands behind his back, shuffling the stones within his hands. "Tatsuya, would you like to go first?" All this exercise really required was concentration, tapping in to one's inner self, to use the innate ability that the untrained had never noticed. He waits calmly for Tatsuya, if he chose to go first.
[Sorry for the late reply, it wont happen again. Also, so for the mixup Tatsuya.]

[Its cool im sure you have lots going on]
The sounds of an opportunity to become stronger then others excites Tatsuya and is eager to give it a go. He listens to his sensei closely as he explains what to. "Sense chakura in a rock? Seems simple enough.” The task it self seemed pretty straight froward but how could you detect something with out seeing it? Tatsuya ponders on this for a moment and then thinks of a dog and how it is able to detect a smell from a ways away with out even seeing it. Detecting chakura must be a similar concept. Tatsuya watches as Samuro puts the stones behind his back to fill them with chakura. In agreeing with him going first the stones are brought in front of him and says “All right lets do this!” From his core to his figure tips Tatsuya feels the chakura inside of him. He thinks back to how he can scene his chakura flow into he ground as he preforms his earth style. Concentrating, Tatsuya becomes familiar with his chakura and the unique properties of it. “Its just the same as smelling a flower or touching sand paper.” Tatsuya thinks to himself. “All we have to do is sniff out witch rock carries the chakura.”
After focusing on his chakura and familiarizing him self with it the moves his attention to the stones. Tatsuya block out Kasai and his sensei as well as all the surroundings around him. Then zoning in carefully to the stones. Tatsuya glances from one stone to another trying to pick up the chakura that’s inside one of them but is starting to relies its not working. He glances up at Samaruo to find the is a straight glare looking onto Tatsuya. Tatsuya quickly looks back at the stones. “Come on Tatsuya its not that hard.” He tells himself. Tatsuya tries one more time to detect witch Stone has the chakura in it but has no susses. He thinks back to the dog once again. “The dog cant see it but can smell it.” This gives Tatsuya and idea. If he closes his eyes then this might increase his focus on detecting chakura. So Tatsuya closes his eyes and feels as if his consciousness has left his body and is scanning for chakura in the stones. He can feel his brain hard at work in the task it has been given. As if he was a little scanner he revolves his attention around both the stones deciding with one carries the chakura He focuses hard on the stone in Samaruo's left hand. Finals he pick up a small qwuver of energy rippling from the stone. He then smiles and opens his eyes. “Its faint but I can detect it.” Even if he could only slightly detect the chakura in the left stone its still a good first step. He then wonder what other things may posses chakura. Trees?... Plants in general? Or even other animals? Can you controls and use chakura thats given by nature? Getting slightly excited with this new found concept Tatsuya takes a step back to see how Kasai dose.

Kasai smiled under his mask as Samaruo produced the rock for Tatsuya, seeing it as an opportunity for himself as well.
He saw no reason why the two of them could not try at the same time. He would let Tatsuya talk, and do the obvious work, though he would also do the exercise while Tatsuya did.
When Tatsuya looked back and forth, Kasai began to work.
He closed his eyes, bent his head slightly forward, stepping to the side, allowing Tatsuya to stand directly before Samaruo. Then, he slowly lifted his hands to the center of his stomach, hoping the movement would not distract either of the two. He then laid one hand in the other, and held the thumbs up, a paper width between their tips. Then, he entered the world he knew all too well.
Silence fell around him, and the world became black. He felt his body relax, every nerve loosening. He could feel his heart beating, the blood rushing through his veins, all the way down to the synapses in each nerve ending. Then, he extended his view.
“There is a fire inside every being,” he thought to himself. “One that burns from the day we are born until the day we die.”
He could feel his feet on the ground, feel the grass through his shoes, and the dirt beneath that grass.
“It is a fire that cannot be put out”
He extended further. He could feel outward, the radius of conscious around him extending. The disturbances in the grass came into his feeling. They were two pairs of feet; Samaruo’s and Tatsuya’s.
“That fire, we all have it. We all feel it. It may grow, and it may shrink, but it does not falter. It does not waver.”
He then could see their feet, feeling the power coming from them. He traced the light upwards, towards the source.
“This fire, it our life force. It is our emotion. It comes from seven locations within us, and to them it will return. It flows through the body like our blood. From the base of the spine, to the top of the head, it runs.”
He then reached out further, feeling his way behind Samaruo, to where the rocks were located.
“May it never die in the two of you,” he finished his inward thoughts on the matter, searching, feeling, looking.
His eyes closed, remaining still as a stone, he hoped that he had not interrupted either of the two. Tatsuya needed concentration for the exercise, as did Kasai himself. He had hoped that stepping aside would eliminate any distractions.
He continued his search. Such small things as stones, they were very hard to find, yet, he believed he did. He had never searched for stones before, only larger being, and only when he was hours deep in his meditation. It was a new concept to do such an exercise at only a moment’s notice.
Then, there was a flicker, a light, a fire. Yet, he paused. He was certain that Samaruo had clearly said he would only pour his chakra into one stone, though here, he could see it in both. The left clearly burned much brighter, yet, the stone in the right had a fire indeed. Kasai could not ignore it. He wondered perhaps if he was not seeing clearly, or perhaps the stone had some before the exercise, or if Samaruo was testing them more so, and put chakra in both.
He opened his eyes as Tatsuya said he could sense it, and lowered his hands. He would wait for Samaruo to talk before voicing his own findings. He hoped that he had not seen incorrectly, for if so, he knew where his night would lie; in training.

He waits while Tatsuya makes his decision, he notices Kasai's gestures towards his direction. Perhaps he was trying to sense the chakra as well, no matter, it was good that he showed his interest in the exercise. Finally, after a few moments of time had pasted, he noticed Tatsuya's attention towards his left hand. Was this his choice, Samaruo wondered? Should he receive a yes, he looks towards Kasai, "What hand do you think it's in, Kasai?", he said, based on the assumption that he had attempted to feel out for the chakra as well.

Tatsuya takes a step back as Samaruo asks his question. What could Kasai see that was different then Tatsuya. It did take a wile for Tatsuya to pick up the chakura inside the stone but he did find it swirling around in the left stone. Was he wrong, he thought of had there been chakura in both? Tatsuya thought not because if he could sense chakura in one then surly he could in both. Unless of course sensei had put in different frequencies of chakura. For example chakura could be finite and smooth setting off a higher pitched property thus allowing it to move through things smoother. On the other hand if it had a more rough property to it the chakura would set off a more lower pitched property. Even if Tatsuya was wrong it did not quite matter sense this was a learning experience. But is Tatsuya was to be a support type ninja then he would have to be a master at this type of stuff.

Kasai gazed, thinking over what he had seen.
"I see a burning fire in each stone you hold behind your back. One burns far brighter, but the other is there. It may be so that my senses deceive me, for you had said one stone, not both. I am uncertain, though I will answer with what I believe; both."
He then looked at Samaruo. He had thought that he had seen chakra in both stones, yet there was the possibility that he was wrong. The right stone was far less brighter than the left, so it may be possible that he had seen incorrectly.
He then waited for Samaruo's response.

Samaruo simply stares towards Kasai, they way he speaks was not common. He tends to associate everything with fire, was this his interpretation of the village's will of fire? Samaruo opens his hands, "The stone, which i poured chakra in, was located in my left hand." He retrieves the case from his back pouch, placing the stones back inside. "If you managed to get it right on the first time, then you will start to pick up on a lot of things as time passes. In fact, if you get good enough, you can even sense others at vast distances. Some shinobi who are classified a Sensor types, can assess how many shinobi are within entire battlefields, with remarkable speed.", Samaruo turns towards the lake, glancing over in thought, "If you guessed wrong, don't worry about it, practicing will make you become more familiar with it, its not like you can't do it", the ability was in everyone, it is like a muscle. The more your test it, the more powerful it will become.
"Now i remember yesterday that you wanted to work with your shadow manipulation jutsu, right, Tatsuya?" Samaruo forms a lone seal, creating a shadow clone of himself on his own right flank. The clone, an exact copy in every way, makes his way towards the lake, "I'll help you progress through your training as much as I can, you can follow my clone that way, and work with him. I will stay here with Kasai, and work with him, that way I can be in two places at once. In a half an hour, I will want to see what you two have come up with, and after which we will finish up the day with a spar."Samaruo waits for a reply from the "Terrible Two", he still finds that name awkward.
