Now, naturally, if Xyxer had remained stationary as his attack failed as if it was a turn based battle he would be in quite the predicament right now, but as he's not a weeping angel he instead followed after the male as he moved back, his sword still held above and coming down in a cleaving motion, albeit the path having been adjusted directly towards the left side of the males neck, aiming to cut all the way down to his right hip. However, he was also sleight of hand. As such, he worked at his ninja pouch as he had followed the males hop and back step with rapid foot movements, revealing an ANBU sword in which he'd use to deflect or parry the weird blade whips that he could choose to continue in a rather weird attack on him.

It seemed Xyxer was not one for waiting. The boy's swing with the blade adjusted, and Takeo moved his left hand up to block the blow, the second blade of Bararaq Sei slipping into his grasp. The blades lit up, crackling with lightning as he channelled the Chidori technique through the pair of them. He angled his blade to the side, swinging it up to meet the blade of Tidebreaker. Takeo took note that Xyxer was also wielding another blade, though the positioning of it wasn't the best as of right now. Taking advantage of his hand still being by his pouch he went to stab the side of the boy's neck with the blade that was not currently occupied. Fighting with Xyxer tended to bring about some strange results, he wondered if that would also happen during this fight.

Two things came to the attention of Xyxer; Takeo's hand was moving towards his weapon, an attempt to parry or block it seemed, and another hand was coming directly towards him. It seemed that his next move would have to be very magnificent as it could result in his own incapacitation. That was why, not bothering to defend his own shoulder, he gathered all of his power into the arcing sweep of his sword, aiming to completely destroy the weapon that Takeo was holding. In fact, just as the two were about to clash just above the shoulder of Takeo the male let out a primal roar, feeling surges of adrenaline wash through his body with a water coat over his sword, increasing the sharpness by a tonne.

Takeo noticed Xyxer wasn't defending himself from his attack. He would have smiled at the foolish move, but he was in the middle of combat. Takeo knew from experience he was faster, so his win was guaranteed. He heard his opponent shouting, a sign that he was going full force with his attack. It would do him no good however, Takeo would hit first. Any moment now, his blade would pierce through that armour. His Sharingan ever alert caught sight of something strange. Xyxer's blade moved unhindered through his own, a trick perhaps? No, his blade had been destroyed almost instantly. He paid it no mind, confident that his blade would strike first.

Clink.

Clang.

It was almost as if there was no defense in the way of his sword as he carried it on through the weapon of Takeo, the blade shattering and breaking. That however, was quite alarming for Xyxer as he was now going at quite the speed. Fortunately, however, the clashing and roar had caused Xyxer to not truly wish to kill Takeo, but rather show his strength. Who could admire his strength if the Kage was dead? One of the few people he could call an accomplice, and perhaps even a friend.

Alas, Xyxer was shown that the flesh of a friend and the flesh of a foe were not different, as Tidebreaker tore directly down into the left shoulder of Takeo, the flesh tearing as if it was paper with a spray of blood erupting from the shoulder of the Tenkage. This alarmed the ANBU captain of old, whom watched in surprise. It took him a few milliseconds before he twisted the sword, lodging it diagonally between the collar bone of Takeo going up towards the shoulderjoint of his arm, aiming to keep the weapon there to minimize the blood loss as of now. Obviously, when the damage was done he instantly dispelled the water coating as to preserve his friends life essence. Naturally, the hand that was holding the blade coming towards the shoulder of Xyxer should be quite loose at this point.

Something was wrong. Takeo stared blankly at his remaining blade, which had fell from his grasp. This was a new experience for him, pain. He saw from the corner of his vision the blade of Tidebreaker, buried in his shoulder. Blood sprayed out splattering against the lower half of his face. Takeo felt confused. He had lost in a single blow. Takeo thought back to the conversation proceeding this. He had claimed to be strong enough to keep the Kage spot, yet this had happened. It had been a long time since he had fought someone who he considered to be equal in strength. It seemed that he had over-estimated his own abilities quite drastically. His increase in strength had come to a stand still. He wasn't strong enough. All of those thoughts rushed through his head as he felt his legs give out from under him. He fell forward, his vision fading to black as the pain of the blow sent him into a state of unconsciousness. If anybody had been paying attention to his eyes, they would have noticed a slight change. A second tomoe formed itself on his Sharingan, before deactivating and becoming hidden by his eyelids falling shut.

Approved of Appropriate Rewards

Feeling the body on the other end becoming limp and eventually falling towards him, he adjusted the blade accordingly so that it remained in the same position, going further in as to prevent any immediate blood loss before he could completely judge the situation. Medicine. Medical help. He needed medical aid. Understanding, he nodded and, using Fluxsteel, shortened his blade to as small as it would go in terms of length and width, sliding it out of the gaping wound and back onto his back. Tearing at the shirt of Takeo, he tore the lower half of it off so that he could fashion it quickly around the wound in an attempt to subdue the bleeding. Once satisfied with fashioning Takeo to look like an alleyway hooker with a weird crimson scarf, he lifted the limp body over his shoulder and dashed towards the main hospital, all the while crimson leaking over his silver pauldron.

One two, skip a few.

Sitting beside the bed of Takeo, no longer wearing his armour but the blade on his back continuing to don the blood of Kages, he watched the wound he had inflicted with interest, pondering on when the male would return to the realm of the living, that's if, he could return.

Takeo awoke some time later. It took a moment or two for him to come to his sense, at which point he ascended into a sitting position. His eyes scanned the room, taking note of the bandages wrapped around him. It wasn't hard for Takeo to understand where he was currently. He'd been in a similar room when he had his eye's implanted many months ago. He spotted Xyxer from the corner of his vision mid-way through examining the room. His head turned to face the boy and he raised his right hand up to him casually. "Sup."

"Surprised you still maintain control over your motor sensorys." The boy stated, looking at the wound that was now covered in gauze. It was quite the hefty blow, and if anything, Xyxer was impressed with himself. "How're you holding up?"
