For The Better
Sun Nov 02, 2014 1:15 pm
Green rushed ahead blindly, pushing past adults and children alike, his only destination in mind being the village gates. He had to leave before any of his clan members could catch him, and possibly have his head. If he wasn't put to a halt, the boy would continue racing forward and passed the village gates, hopefully getting away from any future harm.
[Attempted Exit from the village. And here is my IC reason for leaving.

Kenshin slowly strolled down the streets of konoha, uncaring of the environment around him he simply wanted to relax. Sadly however this wish would not be granted as he was suddenly pushed aside by a smaller boy, a scowl instantly on his face as he looked towards who it was. Not knowing the boy he decided it would be best to stop him before he continued his little rampage through the streets. Quickly propelling himself forward he would quickly stop in front of the boys path with a single hand stretched, not a single word spoken and glaring directly at him as he attempted to reach out and grab him by the collar of his shirt to halt his movement with his far superior strength and speed. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" he spoke calmly, trying to figure out why a child would be doing such a chaotic thing as running through the streets pushing people over. The only really odd thing about this situation however was how fast the child was actually able to move, making it likely that he was at least an academy student of sorts.

He barely noticed the stranger that suddenly appeared in front of him, and would've bumped into said person if it wasn't for his collar being grabbed. The action effectively stopped him and filled Green with the feeling of panic. Never before has he felt this desperate and frustrated. His life was on the god damn line, and this random guy had to stop him! Of all the times people bothered to pay attention to what he did, why now? In fact, the only moment that could trump this was when Kenzo decided to break his leg. He had to rest of the hospital afterwards and wait to be healed. It made him feel humiliated.
After noticing the glare being aimed towards him, Green sent one of his own full force ahead. "What does it look like? I'm trying to leave." he forced out while gritting his teeth, "If I don't, I'm going to be killed...so, do you mind letting me go?"

watched as the little boy glared back at him, completely unaffected by his gaze he would continue holding onto him, regardless of what he had just told him. "Do you have permission to exit the village?" he questioned calmly, completely ignoring his statement of his life being in danger, for if anybody attempted to harm him now they would merely be struck down by Kenshin's own hands. However, regardless of Green's answer he would find himself being lifted off the ground by Kenshin as he quickly leaped into the air to land upon a nearby roof so they could speak without any others joining the conversation and hearing something they shouldn't. "Now, who is attempting to kill you exactly? And if you do know then why have you not gone to the authorities and gained protection from the villages shinobi?"

At the question Green looked off to the side, wondering how he was to answer it. Should he lie or simply come clean? The latter seemed like the best choice here, since lying would only lead to more lies, and he'd eventually be found out... "...No," he soon mumbled with a large frown, "I have no permission." Suddenly, he was picked up off the ground with his legs dangling, and then he could feel a strong breeze as he and the stranger made it to a roof. That...was a good move. Now his clan members wouldn't be able to find him somewhere in the streets. The stranger proceeded to ask some more questions, ones he would prefer to not be asked.
"Look, it's a long and complicated story that I don't feel like sharing. Plus, I doubt the 'authorities' would be able to stop a whole clan." Green responded, not really giving any straight answers, "Who the hell are you anyway?"

frowning slightly at the child's answers he would slowly shake his head, obviously not content with how Green felt about this whole situation and not really enjoying it himself. "What clan of yours would this be? I need to know so that I may report these actions to a higher up so that it can be dealt with appropriately. And for who I am, that should be obvious, I am a shinobi of the hidden leaf". His expression becoming obviously more relaxed as he had little to worry about with this child he would release him from his grasp, his eyes still fixed on him however, waiting for him to make any sudden moves, and if he did punishment would be swift and harsh. "Now, you will tell me your little story here and now, with detail or I will simply find the clan you speak of and ask them myself, and if they are as violent as you say then a few may end up dead. Is that what you want to happen, blood on your hands? Because thats exactly what will happen if you don't tell me everything I want to know." he spoke, completely intending to place pressure on the boy to force him into answering his questions seeing how this seemed to be a rather important matter at the time.

"...I was asking for some kind of name, but okay." he stated with a small shrug, "And the clan's name is...Akari. It's my own clan." After he finished speaking, the "shinobi of the hidden leaf" released his hold, allowing Green to land safely on the roof's surface. Surely he could use this moment to escape, but he had to be smart. This guy certainly seemed stronger and faster than him. It's possible he wouldn't have any chance whatsoever. The boy sighed, his frustration merely growing. And now the stranger wanted the full story...well, he supposed it was about time he talked. It'd be troublesome though. Oh so troublesome.
"I don't really care for blood on my hands, but I guess washing it off would be annoying. So listen up, 'cuz I'm not gonna repeat myself." he said in a now lazy tone of voice, "Uh, see, my clan is filled with...dicks- I mean, arrogant shinobi, or something like that. They think that the best way to obtain peace is to obliterate all the hidden villages. Now, some of the people in my clan didn't want to do that, so we split into two groups. Rogues and Loyalists. Earlier today, we were having a meeting about the rogues located in other villages. But! My clan's leader began to doubt those in the meeting, so he questioned us to evaluate our loyalty, or something dumb like that..." Green paused to take a deep breath before continuing once more.
"When it got me, I told them and their ideals were stupid and that they were only causing harm. 'Cuz if you think about it, how can a wrong make a right? That's just no good. Then my leader went ballistic and tried to attack me. He called me a rogue. Luckily, my mom held him off and told me to run. So...here I am."

"Sounds fabulous" he stated in a very relaxed tone, not believing anything of what the boy was telling him, proof of course would be needed to convince him of such a thing. Now raising his hand he would quickly poke the boy on the forehead, his chakra flowing into the boy to create a small dot on his forehead that would quickly disappear and allow him to track Green if he went anywhere. "You are going to stay in the village, and I am going to assure that you do" he spoke in a confident tone, obviously believing that he was powerful enough to keep this child from trying to exit the village, after all it was his job as a shinobi to assure that no other shinobi left the village without permission. His reasoning behind believing this child was a shinobi of konoha was obvious, he was a member of a well known and respected shinobi clan, one that often produces mildly powerful combatants. "Now I am going to be taking you to the hokage so that he make check your story and investigate what you have just told me".

[Damn you Kenshin, pulling a Youka on me.]
Green only stared the stranger once the story was finished, wondering if he was actually being taking seriously. For crying out loud he was almost killed. This guy had to believe him, he just had to. The youth opened his mouth to speak once more, but was silenced the minute his forehead was poked. It felt tingly for a few moments, and he had the strong urge to scratch it, but the sensation eventually left him. "The hell?" Green mumbled under his breath. He rubbed his forehead while Kenshin declared he would stay in the village. Welp, that sealed the deal. He was definitely screwed.
The boy clenched his fist and looked downwards, feeling very upset. So, he was going to stay in a village where he was at the risk of being murdered. Such fun. Oh, and then the stranger said something about bringing him to the...what? "Yeah, no." Green said, being quick to respond, "The people in my clan aren't slow. If they somehow hear that the Hokage knows of this little stunt, they would make the connection. They'll be able to tell I opened my big mouth and would definitely plan on coming after me." While speaking, he took several step backs and narrowed his eyes at Kenshin. Maybe he should have ran away the second he was put down...

listening to the boy speak of all these worries that meant little to nothing to Kenshin he would simply wait for him to stop speaking. Sadly however this boy decided to put some distance between them, a stupid move to say the least, one that screamed 'I'm going to try and run'. Acting how he felt was appropriate he would quickly form a single handseal, streaming his chakra throughout his body to energize himself for an instant as he moved forward at an immense pace (150 speed), one the boy could not even visually follow, as if Kenshin had merely teleported. Moving past Green, Kenshin would quickly come to a stop and twirl around to face the child's back and grab hold of each of his wrists with his corresponding hands, his left gripping Green's left and his right gripping Green's right. Using his hold on his wrists and his superior strength he would then proceed to pull his hands behind his back so that he could grip both wrists with a single hand, that being his left he would reach into the pouch strapped to his lower back to grab a kunai. Raising the blade to barely touch the boys lower spine after all of his actions he would bring the boy close to him so he could speak to him quietly and in a calm tone. "Do not think that you can simply leave this village when you please. All that would be required of you is filling out paperwork for extended leave of absence and going somewhere far away instead of panicking like a mouse who has just been spotted by a cat and scurrying away. Do we understand each other?" he spoke into the boys ear, his grip becoming increasingly tighter on his wrists as he was obviously becoming frustrated with the boys actions.
