Watching Maku closely he would notice his movements, raising his hands, something that quickly set Kenshin into a state of complete focus, he needed to know what Maku planned almost before he did, that would be his chance to screw over whatever he was planning. Luckily however a messenger would seemingly burst into the room to give Maku a message of some kind, something that stopped whatever the man was about to do, a relief to say the least. Now listening to him speak it was obvious that whatever information he had just received was concerning to say the least as he wanted to leave so suddenly. "Very well" Kenshin spoke in a firm tone, not showing any particular emotion to Maku as he began following behind him, beginning whatever journey they were about to go on. His comment to keep up meaning nothing to him as he was following only a few feet behind he would be sure to keep his eyes peeled on his surrounding to try and decide where they were at and how to escape it with minimal difficulty.
