Threeliner incoming (P)

Naoki, sitting in his office would be waiting for somebody. He had called for a recently promoted Genin. There was a task, maybe a rather dangerous task he needed someone to do and there did not appear to be many people available for it in the village, so hopefully the boy would accept. But first he had to hear it.

Oh, boy! It looked like the leader wanted to talk to him. Kozata scrambled out of bed, reading the message he had received carefully. It hadn't occurred to Kozata's somewhat simple brain that he could be in loads of trouble for some reason or another. No, he only thought of how awesome and cool it would be to meet the man for the first time. Sure, he was a little nervous, but who wouldn't be? He dressed and put on his headband, then rushed downstairs and out the door. He spun, orienting himself for the leader offices. He arrived out of breath, stopping to gasp for air and compose himself. Then, he calmly stepped inside and found his way to the office. He would knock twice on the door, hoping to be admitted.

Hearing the knocking on his door Naoki would focus for a second, sensing a somewhat weak chakra signature behind. Hopefully it was the guy. "Come in."

Entering the office, Kozata would scan the room. The man behind the desk was scary! Maybe coming here had been a mistake...? No, he couldn't afford to back down. He gulped, then stepped forward, bowing slightly. "Kozata Shinkou, at your service, sir." His voice would be a little weak, but he tried to put some confidence behind it. "You requested my presence, sir?" He hoped that he hadn't broken any protocols yet, as the results could be catastrophic. It had just occurred to him that the man in front of him had heard of his nickname... Kozata hoped that that was not the case.

Naoki would smile at the boy who just entered and introduced himself. "Yes, I did. And relax" he would find a cup from one of his drawers, then lean forward to pick up a teapot on his desk. The tea he had just made, he would pour into the cup, then some into another which was already on the desk. The first would be offered to the boy, if not accepted would end up on the desk, which was not covered in papers and documents as could be expected. After taking a sip from his own cup, Naoki would begin, but not before offering the boy a seat. "I have a mission I would like you to run for me, Kozata. It may be more dangerous than what a Genin is supposed to handle, but I cannot know. You would have to travel to another village to confirm something. Would you do this for me?"

Well... it looked like the leader was friendly enough. He would be at ease, taking the seat offered to him. Of course, to his naive mind, it had not yet dawned on him that this man could be a predator who lured in young boys before doing horrible things to them. The danger of the situation didn't enter his thought at all.
Now, Kozata liked tea as much as any other person in the village (not that he knew all of them), so he took the cup, gazing at the dark liquid. The darkness reminded him of... something, but he couldn't quite place it. When the leader began to speak, Kozata would remember his manners and make eye contact. Something inside him screamed that despite being polite, this was a massive mistake, but he ignored such weird impulses.
"I would be glad to take on this task, sir." It couldn't be THAT hard; maybe a bit challenging, but he saw no reason why this man should just sacrifice a genin for nothing. He decided to blindly trust in his leader. "What village would you like me to go to, and what do you wish me to find?"

Naoki would smile as the Genin agreed to do the task for him. Putting the cup down on the desk, he would find a sealed envelope in one of the drawers. "You will be headed to Tengakure. I'm sure you know that it is one of the big five villages, located in the Moon Country. Once you get there, make sure this reaches the Tenkage" He would hand the envelope to the boy. "Return to here when given an answer, or if you feel you should leave. That's all" Hopefully the boy would finish his tea. Naoki did not mention what exactly he was finding out, as there was not really any need for the boy to know, the less he knew, the less likely any harm would come to him.

Inside the envelope though was a letter which first of all greeted the Kage, expressing a desire to forge a bond between two villages to benefit them both, which was to be discussed further. It also contained the details of Naoki's meeting with Ryuu as well as the Jounin's story about Worr. As Tengakure was relatively close to Amegakure, they were bound to have some sort of information which could hopefully help confirm or deny Ryuu's story and the Uchiha was requesting that.

Whoa... he was about to be sent to another village. Well, with the fact that he was actually a loser, maybe he would fit in with the population there. He took the envelope, finishing off his tea. He wasn't exactly sure what was in the envelope, but he knew that it was above his pay grade to find out. He would stand up, bowing in thanks, then he would leave.
