Running, running, running (P)

Rakka stepped out through the gates of the village, sporting a pair of ripped jeans, tennis shoes, a tank top, and a jacket. It wasn’t particularly cold where she was going, but she figured normal dress would be nice, none of this crap with sandals. She walked casually out to the water, hopping into a boat. She shook her head, quickly jumping behind the boat and tying a rope around it, before fastening it to her belt. She would then create a few handseals, activating the body flicker technique, which would propel her forward at high speeds, carrying the boat behind her. Once she got up to speed, she would fall back into the boat, allowing the incredible burst of speed to carry her to the shore, in what only felt like a minute. Plowing into the sand, the boat would come to a stop. Ever the impatient one, Rakka began running through the countryside, not stopping until she reached the plains. It wasn’t terribly far, and she was there before she knew it. Once arrived, she glanced around the plains, taking in a deep breath. For once, it didn’t hurt to breathe, either for blistering heat or for biting cold. That was nice.
