I returned for you (p/nk/ Haru)

Just like the first time they met,  it was raining. As she entered the gates, Tori kept the hood up over her long red hair.  The wind was strong tonight, and the entrance area around the gates was quite muddy! This time,  she didn't run.  She paced herself in a quick walk, as the cape billowed out behind her revealing her leather clad legs, one side had two kunai hanging on it and the other held three shuriken. Her leather boots came up to her kneesand as the lightning lit up the sky above her, it was bright enough to make out a person entering the village!
She was pretty sure Haru was at the gate, and she was hoping to have a little fun with him before she revealed herself. Besides she had never had the opportunity to spar him yet. This could be quite fun!

Haru, for once, was not working as Tengakure’s around the clock teacher/secretary/whatever else they felt like making him do. No, now he was watching the village after the lord Tenkage left without warning. He wasn’t sure what the other two ANBU were doing, but he didn’t associate much with them, anyways. They worked separately. Haru was sitting on a ledge overlooking the gates, high above the ground. He was leaned lazily against a stone pillar of a rather ornate overlook, completely uninhabited of course. His eyes were darting bac and forth, catching sight once in awhile of people who had been involved in the whole fiasco with Den…
 
The rain was coming down hard, and Haru had the hood of his cloak pulled up. Idly he looked over his newly acquired weapons. A pair of trench knives he had acquired from the strange man in the woods, which had turned out to be somewhere around the Hidden Leaf Village, from what he remembered of the area. The unique qualities of the weapon, besides the ridiculous sharpness and incredible durability, were pretty interesting.
 
As he was looking over the trench knives, peeking through one of the holes for the user’s fingers, Haru would spot a head of bright red hair through it, underneath a hood… Haru would drop down, landing on the streets, right in front of the gates, several paces from the stranger. ”State your name and purpose for entering. What village do you hai-“ Haru would stay, stopping as he saw the face under the hood.

”Tori?” He muttered.

Tori looked up at Haru. He seemed surprised, and suddenly a smile crossed her face as she ran up him and threw her arms around him and, if he doesnt stop her, kisses his lips! After breaking the kiss she said something she had never said before.
" I missed you, I love you!" She said as the words just slipped out. Slightly blushing she leaned her head over on his shoulder.

Haru wasn’t sure how to react to Tori’s return. Part of him felt guilty for what had happened, and part of him was genuinely glad to see her. He would step back slightly as Tori threw her arms around him, wrapping his own arms around her back as she kissed him. After breaking away from the kiss, Haru would look at the girl in disbelief.

”Tori, I-“ He began, stuttering as he heard the girl speak. He didn’t know how to react to that. He hadn’t had time to let what had happened between them sit, after being bedridden and in his own little, demented world, in a galaxy far, far away, for months and months. ”I… I know.” He said. ”I think I love you too…” He said, a little hesitantly. It had been such a short time, and he had never loved anyone before… He wasn’t sure if this was real or not…

" I left you a note telling you I had to return to Konoha, I found out the head of my clan Shinji Uzumaki is my caretaker. I got into a little trouble for being a missing nin, and I have to speak to my Kage . I -I needed to see you. Haru I need you!" She said as she held him tighter. "I have never felt this way before." She said as she put her hands on his cheeks lightly stroking his cheeks with her thumbs. Her blue eyes stared into his and she hardly noticed the rain falling around them anymore.

Haru’s eyes widened as Tori mentioned Shinji. He hadn’t heard anything about the man since he left the village… It seemed he wasn’t with Den, seeing as they weren’t together when he appeared at the gates. He was glad to hear that he was losing her missing ninja status, which would keep the girl out of trouble.

”I missed you too, Tori. I’m glad that you’re returning to your village.” He would say, holding her tighter. ”I’d hate for anything bad to happen to you out there. I’m glad you’ve taken care. You said Shinji Uzumaki is looking after you?” He said, looking over her shoulder. Was Shinji here, with her?

"Yeah, technically he is my dad. I got into a little bit of trouble, I almost attacked someone. He basically made me change my ways. I was so scared and shaking so bad when I saw him because most Kages or former Kages kill missing nin on the spot. He is in Konoha right now, since you and him are friends would you like to come back to Konoha with me to visit? It would mean a lot to me having you there when I have to go to the Hokage." She asked kissing his neck as she laid on his shoulder. Tori was hoping he would be able to. "It would be a short visit, I am talking to the Hokage tomorrow, and since its getting dark and raining, I would feel safer walking with you." She added as she held hands with him.

Haru smiled, holding Tori tightly. She wanted him to escort her to Konoaha? ”Well… I’ll have to think about it… I would really like to take the trip with you, but I have duties here…” He would say, playing with her hair idly as she kissed him. He would take her hand, leading her out of the rain, in a pavilion, where they had first spoken, when Tori returned to the village to recover her things. He would sit down at the table, gesturing for her to sit down with him.

”Shinji is your father?” Haru would mutter, a little surprised. That was interesting…

"Yes , well my adopted father. You never told me how strict he was. I left him a note he knows I am here." She said sitting down next to him, slipping her hand into his. "I am really nervous about going to my kage. What happens when I ask to be part of Konoha again, how serious a crime is what I am?" It was the best way for her to put it. "You're ANBU, you know this stuff, its why I am asking." She said squeezing his hand with hers. "I am more frightened of Navi than Shinji!" She added trembling at the thought. Shinjis reaction was bad enough.

Haru shrugged.
"It never came up. I didn't know you were going to run into him. And Shinji never struck me as strict." He said, remembering the man's laid back demeanor. He wasn't sure what to think about this... "Well, I don't really know what you did to become a missing ninja. I guess it depends on the Hokage's decision... I think you're doing the right thing, Tori." He said, putting an arm around her shoulder comfortingly "Are you staying in Tengakure for any amount of time, or did you just come to see me?
