The Journey Begins (Mu, Aiko, Kyojin)
Thu Jan 08, 2015 11:49 pm
As Mu walked onto the Training Grounds, he couldn't help but notice that there were very few people on the premises. Considering the time of day it was, he wasn't too shocked. Not a lot of people would probably like to do a lot of physical activities at night.
Mu stood in the center of a large open area. He slowly breathed in and out, hoping to maintain a calm emotional state. However, he couldn't help but feel uneasy. Aside from the jutsu bestowed upon him due to his time at the Academy, he had no real jutsu or raw talent to speak of. He had read stories of powerful ninja before him, able to stop entire wars, manipulate the minds of others, and warp reality. And what did he have? He could walk up a tree. The path that he was on couldn't feel any longer and more challenging, and he had only taken the first step, with only one mission under his belt.
As he looked at the headband tied around his right arm, much of those fears began to slowly subside. He knew that every ninja had to start somewhere, and even with his limited techniques, he was still able to help and do good around him. Mu vowed to become a powerful ninja to protect others, and that is just what he would set out to do.
Mu shifted into a fighting stance, maintaining his usual focus. As fast as he could, he delivered a flurry of punches and kicks to the air around him.
"Bring it on."

This is Aiko Airlines, we have reached 2000 feet, you are free to move about the cabin.
Well her body was the cabin in reality, and yeah she was quiet the distance up in the air. She had been unable to sleep tonight from all the adrenaline still in her system from the days training, so what better way to relax than a night flight? So she had been flying above the clouds, happy as can be as she decided.....why not go for another suicide dive? Nothing like adrenaline to make somebody drowsy, right? So she would stop moving and begin to plummet, the air whipping around her as she quickly reached terminal velocity and a plane aura would begin to form around her for the lola, the ground rushing up towards her as she flipped around and flew upwards for the last few hundred feet to knock out of terminal, making a shaky land causing a small clearing a small crater to appear around her and the aura to blast outwards like the fake vehicle had exploded in a burst of fun and death. It would be around this time that she heard some kid.

Mu finished up his barrage with a final straight punch to the air. He began to breathe heavily, but not from exhaustion. He was starting to actually enjoy himself. The feeling of adrenaline through high-speed combat. It was actually very exhilarating.
However, that feeling quickly subsided as a women crashed into the ground right next to him, forming a large crater only several feet from him.
"Huh...strange." Mu declared as he approached the newcomer. "No, I wasn't talking to you. I guess you could say I got carried away warming up."

Warming up he said? The kid was training? What kind of training would be done alone? It was best done with someone else to gauge your own power. Perhaps she could lend this kid a hand....maybe she would help this kid out and perhaps gain some info in the process? She would flash to his side like an phantom and place her hands on his head at max speed also known as 100, implanting a mark seal and at the same time reading his mind like a boss and if it would go through (which it most likely would) her eyes would gain a nice twinkle in her eye. Uzumaki....a name known throughout the land belonging to the 7th Hokage of old, Naruto Uzumaki. Yes, it would be very beneficial to keep this one around....although perhaps she wouldn't steal his kidney like a douchebag? Yes, only do that to people who curse you out.
"So kid....if you want to train I could help you along with that."

Before Mu could even blink, the woman disappeared. He then felt two hands grasp the sides of his head. At first, he reflexively tried to get out of her hold, but her hands were like a vice. However, he proceeded to calm down when he realized that she didn't seem to be doing anything hurtful to him.
Who is this girl? Mu thought. Her speed was unbelievable compared to his. If she wanted to, she could've snapped his neck and stolen his kidneys.
As she released his head, Mu brought both of his hands up to fix his hair and make sure she didn't put anything on him. From what he knew, there was nothing on him.
"I'm not going to lie, you're very...interesting," Mu chuckled, then proceeded to shift his right leg back and bring up his fists. He couldn't let an opportunity to get stronger pass him by, and with an opponent like this... "that's why I'd love to see what else you can do."

"I'm not going to lie, you're very...interesting,that's why I'd love to see what else you can do."
Well, the Uzumaki had spunk. It seems that Mu here felt like sparring, didn't he? It would be rather unfair seeing the speed difference between them and the fact that he hadn't seemed to learn many things yet besides the academy three....but his chakra chains would be able to help him. Oh how she wanted those, but she couldn't exactly pull another Kaos, now could she? She would humor the kid, smiling while performing hand seals at max speed as she spoke.
"Well its good to see interest in the new shinobi, lets begin."
Now of course she probably wouldn't be fighting much as she was unfortunately of a caliber that she would be able to use many techniques without killing him, so she would have to make this quick. The said hand seals would be the ones to the substitution and she would appear crouching behind Mu, heading for a quick victory. Her hands would move into the hand seal of the tiger, ready for the incredibly powerful technique of....
"Secret Technique! 1000 Years of Death!"
And her fingers would shove into his ass at a speed of 105 and lessened strength of 10 to keep the kids sphincter from meeting his mouth, still launching him for about 5m. She would watch him fly before speaking, hiding the mirth in her voice.
"1st rule of a shinobi, never be unprepared."

Mu brought up his arms in anticipation for her first move. Before he could even react, she was already weaving her hand signs. Mu brought his hands to his chest in hopes of, but it was already too late. She was behind him, and his fate was sealed once he heard the name of the most infamous jutsu known to ninjakind.
"Secret Technique! 1000 Years of Death!"
It was a feeling that he had never felt before, but also one that he had hoped to never feel again. Mu launched into the air in pain and crashed back onto the ground in shame. It took what little shreds of strength of dignity for Mu to stand back up, his back facing the powerful opponent.
He looked at the crater right next to him, the same one his opponent created with her grand entrance. He stood silently and weighed his options.
The jutsu he had on-hand were most likely useless. There was...that technique, but Mu immediately shook the thought out of his head. It was too straining on his body, and he still didn't know how to feel about using a technique from his clan, a clan that he only had terrible memories of. There was no way he could possibly beat her. However, despite the situation he was in, he started to actually laugh.
"Geez...my first fight, and it's someone I have no chance at beating," he exclaimed. "Still, if I can maybe just get one hit in.."
His back still facing her, he brought up his arms and weaved the appropriate hand signs for the Substitution Jutsu. He may not have had a bunch of powerful jutsu, but one of the things he learned back in the Academy is to always use what you have on hand to achieve your goal.
I hope this is enough to fool her, Mu thought, replacing himself with one of the loose boulders from the crater.
Not-Mu spun around and darted at the woman with as much speed as he could muster, bringing up his right arm for a straight punch to her face. "I can maybe say that I have improved at least a little."

And after a few days of horrible writers block she returned to the land of the living to post, finding quite the site upon her return.
"Geez, my first fight and its some I have no chance"
Ah how nice it was to have people with clear heads, the ones that don't go gung-ho when they know that they were heavily outmatched. She gave him those secinds where he turtle speeded some sort of jutsu, clearly nothing lethal if her mind ra- I mean information collecting had anything to do with it. And she was right, he poofed away and suddenly as her extremely acute experienced fighter senses told her, was now behind her.
"I can maybe say I have improved a little."
And this statement was absolutely true. Only through practice with others could one truly call themselves strong. Weaklings who pretended to be powerful but never test their strength are nothing but purring kittens. Sadly, the gap between them was too large to be a fair fight. It was really too bad, he had a good mind and she woul like to fight him in an equal match one day. A half tiger seal would form and a rock section came would blast out from the earth into her hand and at a speed of 100 the piece of rock would smash into im his torso.
"Fun fact: all Jounin are trained to hone their senses very well. Do try your hardest when sneaking up on one."

After disappearing to behind the woman. Mu winded his right arm back to strike the back of her head. However, he noticed that she wasn't moving at all, no bit of surprise seemed to emanate from her. As his mind focused on this, he didn't even notice the large piece of rock smashing right into his side. The impact of the attack sent him tumbling across the arena.
Mu paused for a little while to wait for the air to refill his lungs. Any harder, and the woman would've broken some of his ribs. He struggled to get back up, but settled for resting on one knee.
"Looks like I still have a long way to go..." Mu said.

The now not critically sick ninja slowly woke up, blinking her eyes as she quickly reconnected to the world and the things going on around her. Oh yeah, there was a ninja in another dimension waiting. Well, this still had to be done it seems. Appearing in a flicker of speed, she would bend down to help the boy up.
"Their, a taste of what you should achieve to be at. Now anything else you would like me to clarify for you?"
