Salzem felt a pang of sarrow as he mentioned his parents. His eyes suddenly shifted a look pain and he glanced down toward the earth.
"My father is dead." Salzem mumbled. He had still not fully coped with the fact. Sadness welled up in his heart, remembering the note his father left on his bed.
"And my mother comes around only on my birthdays. I live alone." Salzem looked up at Reddo, trying to banish the pain from his system and failing.

When Salzem mentioned his father's death, Reddo became shocked. Reddo does not know the pain of losing a loved one, everything in his life had been normal. But, it was obvious that Salzem had gone through a lot. "Oh, ummm sorry about that," Reddo says. An awkward silence follows.

After a couple moments, Salzem broke out of his sadness. He forced a smile.
"It is not your fault, Reddo." He got up, stretched and offered Reddo a hand up.
"What do you say we get out of this rain hmmm?" Salzem asked, seeing the rain quickly becoming a storm.

"What do you say we get out of this rain hmm?" Salzem says. "Yeah sure, let's get out of here, the tree isn't really working good as a shelter anymore." Reddo says. "damn, we're probably gonna get soaking wet on the way there, and I don't have a change of clothes." Reddo says. "Oh well doesn't matter, let's get going." Reddo says.

Salzem nodded, leading the way out of the tree. He braced himself for the chilling assault of the rain. He would lead the way home, back to the konoha village. (Exit)
