Forged in blood Empty Forged in blood

*clink* *clink* *clink*

The sound of the forge masters hammer rang out throughout the blacksmiths shop.  The eyes of Taios continued to watch, the Sparks never causing so much as a blink.  He had come here for a simple reason, the same reason many a man and women has entered such an establishment.  To acquire armor, not exactly out of the normal.  However, what was outside the norm was how this particular piece was undergoing the forge process.  The bucket that normally held water to cool the burning steel instead bubbled a deep Crimson.  Blood letter from his own body served as the cooling agent.  The fire that rested in the kiln was his own creation, expelled from deep within his gut.  Lava, from the yonbi.  This wasn't going to be ordinary armor, it was already tainted with greatness, a greatness that would spread as the lives of many were sacrificed to see it raised even higher.  Standing, the behemoth of a man stood in the doorway and moved into the back yard of the smith.  The enclosed space offered many training dummies and a high fence to obscure any wandering eyes.  He had designed it so the men who purchased could practice and be satisfied.  Drawing a large broad sword, Taios moved to one of the many dummies and unleashed his strength.

As his sword struck with dull thuds, his mind traced back to his journey.  He had left the village for a short time and expierence do  bit of the world.  He had first gleamed an interest in weapons from his time in the land of samuri.  They had Brennar in opponents.  However the blood wasn't what his mind recalled, it was the story his inner beast had revealed to him.  Not only that, but it had revealed its true face.  On the cold mountains, so far removed from the heat of volcano, he had met with the truth.  Bare chested despite the snow, his eyes closed he sought inner peace to quell the rage that forever threatened to make him loose himself forever.  Though well practiced it still remained as difficult as it had on the first date.  Over time, he left the world behind the howling gale nothing more than white noise.  Within himself he entered the familiar field of dead flowers.  The single yellow sunflower still holding on despite loosing several petals.  Travelin deeper and deeper he soon found the monstrous cage of thorns that he always stumbled across.

Inside a great ape, except there was something diffrent.  It's face seemed cracked, as if it wore a mask that soon wouldn't end removed.  "Again you come, another match perhaps?  Or are you brave enough to fight on equal terms?"  The challenge was onvious, and easily ignored.  He knew he had no chance of deaf eating the Yon o on its terms just yet, but perhaps soon.  "I think not, just reminding you of your cage.  You seem to forget yourself as of late.  This was of course true. Each day that Taios grew in strength the beast knew its chances of escape became slimmer and slimmer.  Perhaps a diffrent tactic was needed.  It's cruel mind working, a new tactic would be used, one of truth.  "How about a story then...while we wait."  Taios considered its words and then sat o the ground.  "Wait for what?"  He asked.  The beast merely laughed before answering.   "For whatever is to happen."  A cryptic answer but he could expect nothing less from such an entity.  "Very we'll the, let's hear your story."  Getting comfortable in his meditation, he listened as the beast began to speak of its birth, the revelation that this wasn't the real four tails would continue to cause Taios to question the story, at least until the end when proof was given.

*thunk*. The heavy broad sword moved through the dummy only to be lodged in the hard ground beneath.  Moving to the barrel of weapons, he selected a large double sided axe and began his training anew on a diffrent dummy.  The axe felt better in his hand, and his mind once again drifted back.  The beast had mentioned that it's home had always been the volcano.  It was here that it had been given life by the very village Taios called home.  The depravity of the place reaching back, it's unholiness tainting the very land around it.  As the citizens became more and more depraved and their customs turned to nothing but blood, the combined negative chakra began to collect.  It's viscosity causing it to stick together.  Larger and larger it grew.  Hanging like a cloud it only aided in the Foul actions that had given it birth.  This was over the course of a long time, and finally as Osore had taken the village and the place hit a greater level of evil the beast was able to rip into existance.

It's birth cry the eruption of a far off volcano, killing hundreds that lived at its seemingly dormant base.  As the magma flowed the demon came from the womb of the earth to feast on its mothers milk.  This of course was in the form of the helpless citizens that had done nothing wrongn except carve out a life form themselves to close to the village of Funkagakue.  Ubfortunetly such a thing proved unforgivable and the beast gorged itself.  100m tall, it took on the form of a true demon. An axe of monstrous proportion taken from the magam, reaving souls left and right with each swing.  What had started a perfect begining to an epic of death, ended before the second chapter.  As the demon spoke of the events Taios could see each of them happening. The raw power of the beast far from horrified him, and merely cause a desire of greater strength within him.  As the beast seemed ubstoppable, a combined force halted it in its track so.  They remained faceless and covered as the beast did not know who they were so could not show their faces.  The seal that coated the ground and then enveloped the beast was obviously a greater form of fuinjutsu.

The beast was soon enveloped shrubken and cast out from the land. It was the 8th month on the with day when the beast was sealed.  The entirety of its evil thought to be destroyed.  However as long as evil dwells in the hearts of man, it will always find a way.  Instead of being cast to the abyss, the beast was able to redirect itself at the last moment.  It soon found itswaychabged towards the village that had offered it its chance at life.  Invisible, it broke into the hospital and found its way inside e the womb of a women deathly having concord a child.  It was the it lay dormabt, waiting for its chance.  However what the beast had not counted on was the seal continuing on.  Even as it set itself inside the fetus it had no chance to eacape.  Once the boywas born it was proven how deep a sense of humor the universe had.  As a child Taios was the opposite of what it could have hoped for.  No interest in evil, it had thought of the monster as a teddy bear more than a foe.  Even going as far to call him Mr. monster as a nickname.

From here Taios could pick up the story.  What the beast did next still shocked him however.  Even as he recalled the next event the axe sliced theoiggh the dummy's severing the straw head.  Loving to then next he moved perfecting his stance.  The beast had removed its mask to reveal its true body, it's true self.

A monstrous demon, something out of the fairy tales used to scare children.  Large bat like wings, an elongated about with razed teeth.  Red skin as long horns protruding from its head.  "My name boy..."  The emphasis was place on the last word.  ". Is Sargatanas....and you best prepare, the hour of your life runs late."  From there Taios had been expelled from his own mind.  In the present another dummy lost its head at the memory of being so dishonored.  Their back and forth had been almost cordial for awhile after the events in the Kazankages office, however whatever force had pulled them together was long absent, and caused any semblance of a partnership to wain.

His steps more sure, ducking and weaving the axe landed more and more true.  His body quicker for its size, the weapon became more of an extension that a tool.  Breathing heavy from the exwrtion, Taios made his way back into the sweat box that was the forge.  The steel continued to be molded.  His impatience grew, as he meditated.  This was the best blacksmith the land had to offer, to kill him would set back his hopes all the more.  As evening turned to night the burly man never faltered. It wasn't until the early morning hours that he deemed is work finished.  "Armor such as this has never been forged.."  The smith whispered gazing at the black steel.  "Nor shall it be again."  A threat, or perhaps a compliment...or maybe a bit of both.  Touching the steel it quivered and seemed to move as if it had life.  Taking it Taios exited the smith shop and returned to his home within the village.  Payment would be given later and the smith was smart enough to temper patience as he had tempered the steel in his shop.  One didn't press things with certain funka nin.  A fact well know to all shop owners.  PAyment alwacme in time.

At home Taios worked with the armor.  Wore it and worked ok his even steps to deal killing blows with the practice swords and other weaponry he had taken from the pits.  With each moment that passed his skills grew stronger and stroner.  The day came and went.  The modifications to his body allowed him Moreno raining time thank almost any ninja.  By the second day's end he felt confident in his skills and went to test them out further.  He had spent time in the arena outside the village, killing wasn't the problem, but one could always be better practised.  Within the training pits challenger after challenger he took on.  In weapon combat only, he tried his hand at sword, axe, and even soear.  Each with its own merits, each a new flavor.  Still unsure which he liked best, the corpses at the edge of the pit only proved how well he had picked up the talent.  Counting bodies was his only way o judge his talent with each individual weapon.  Only in a village such as this could one get away with such a disregard for the citizen so, and yet this was the norm.

Only when no one else dared voice challenge did he leave and retreat to the outskirts of the village and into the ash fields.  There he would train solo, hunting from time to tome, meditating in the morning, his only mission to hone his body further.  All the wholeness a deep gutters like license his perestroika challwnges at the back of giant mind, goading and offering falseness praise.  The tenpter seeking his way out.  Little good it did however.  Fueling Taios further, when he was satisfied with his work he had but one thing to say.  "Sargatanas...I'm coming for you, best have a better weapon than that forked tongue."  Though the beast tried to whisper. It was as if the boy no longer could hear.  His training uninterupted, his hunts unimpeded.  Though the beast had hoped for a foothold, it felt a very real shiver down its spine.  The tactic of showing the past to intimidate, to implant fear had seemed to backfire.  Instead of quaking in fear, his captor had embraced what he saw, and it only made him work harder to tame the furiosity the beast could wield.  Taios Cie was more than an inhabitant of the Volcano, he was the Volcano.
