Uchiha and Sarutobi: The strongbecome stronger

Ryugia sat on a rock looking over the entire village. The large plateau above the hokage faces was a perfect site for training. He had sent a message to Mako, one of his new team mates the other day inviting him to train. They would be soon entering the upcoming chunin exams. They needed to be ready to not only win, and do well, but demonstrate the hidden leaf villages strength. Other villages are always looking for weaknesses to exploit, but a strong next generation would secure their position as a major power. Ryugia had been waiting along time for the next chunin exams. He knew that he could just do a high level mission, an get it over with, but that seemed to easy. The exams would truly test them, and that's what he wanted. He waited for Mako to arrive, so they could begin training.

Mako having received Ryugia's message was only slightly bothered by the training proposal, but he thout, if Ryugia needed help he would help him.  He wore his training scroll strapped around the back of his waist and had all of his tools prepared for a good day of training he didnt know what technique he would work on today but he knew that Ryugia might have something worthwhile to offer.  Knowing the Uchiha he might be planning on using some intense training to unlock his sharingan, which Mako was okay with knowing that fighting off sharingan  would be something he might have to do in the future.

He walked through town smoking a cigarette,  he took several hits at a time, because this training made him quite nervous.  Since he had first met Ryugia he considered him a rival.  Now he was going to do some 1 on 1 training with him.  He knew it would be intense and that excited him greatly.  He loked up the rock as he finished his previous cigarette and lit another one still trying to decide what ability he would try and improve while he made his way up the rock face activating wall walking.  As he made his way up he finished his second cigarette close to the top and stuck it in Jason's eyelid and kept going lighting another after he crested the top. 

He smiled as he made it to the top and saw Ryugia, he blew another puf of smoke and said "Whats up Ryuugia," and left it hanging leaving the moment moderately tense.

Ryugia smiled. "Took you long enough to get here. You know smoking is bad for your lungs. Just because your clan has ash release doesn't mean you should blacken your lungs with the stuff. Whatever though. You're here for some training. I think we should just do a sparring match to start. This area is pretty nice. Trees behind us and an open clearing in front. Any juts u goes within reason. No fatal attacks. Keep the power of any juts u you use low enough not to cause any serious injuries. Deal?" 

Ryugia waited for his response with out a care in the world. Risako had told him that Mako had been working hard, and catching up he wanted to see if he had already become as strong or stronger, than himself. He was also interested in the juts u he possessed. He wanted to evaluate his teammates to properly develope strategies for the chunin exams.

Mako listened intently as Ryugia offered a spar, Mako had already begun channeling his Haki so that he could accurately notice any shift in his emotions.  Additionally it seemed Ryuugia didn't take him seriously, he had yet to activate his sharingan and was standing there nonchalantly showing no concern or care. So Mako decided he would make the first move he put his thumb in his mouth drawing blood and placed his flat on the ground he channeled a great deal of chakra into the summoning calling upon Jenumba the great ape.  The large ape appeared before Mako about 4 feet tall and easily weighing about two hundred pounds his large muscled arms extended down to the ground in front of him.  His fur was fire orange with black skin and he had deep red eyes and a white sash around his waist.  However, the ape didn't stick around long enough to actually take it all in as a cloud of smoke erupted from where it stood making a large axe.  The Axe sat with the top of its blade in the ground and the handle up un the air.  The blade was black and about 2 feet wide with the front of it being about 3 feet from bottom of blade to top.  from top the of blade to the bottom of the handle it was about 5 feet in length.

Mako stepped up to the weapon and placed his left hand on the shaft still watching Ryugia with the Haki to see if he might attack so that he could potentially predict it.  His muscled arm grabbed the handle as it seemed to seamlessly spiral around on its own and rest itself on Mako's shoulders. Mako smiled watching Ryugia. He knew that this process of summoning the axe would be too much danger for Ryugia to take because the orangutan was large and imposing, he knew Ryugia would let the axe summon be so as to avoid fighting two enemies at once.

"I wont hurt you too bad litlle Uchiha," Mako said blowing a puff of smoke into the air and smiling tauntingly, "Can't say the same about him." Signaling to the now flaming monkey Axe on his shoulder, concentrating on the aura surrounding Ryugia.

Ryugia took in Mako's jutsu. Ryugia didn't need his sharingan to understand it. It was a style the Sarutobi were known for. Similar to that used by The 3rd hokage himself. A summon transformation. Honestly Ryugia thought it was a crude way to use such a partner. A smile touched his lips.

"The flames of your axe reflect you so well. Strong, and hardy, but so quick to jump into things. You're so eager to start you didn't even allow your opponent to stand up. Such little honor in your actions." Ryugia let his eyes close for a moment, smile still on his face. "Do you think I do not take you seriously Sarutobi." His eyes opened in a flash of red, as his 3 tomoe sharingan spun into existence. (Plus 10 speed) Ryugias emotions never flared. He remained cool and calm, as he always did in fights. That was the only reason he had managed to push Risako into a corner. He fought smart. He just had to maneuver Mako into check mate.

He wove hand signs in a flash. BOAR-DOG-BIRD-MONKEY-RAM. He bit his thumb, and pressed his hand the ground.

"I have a feeling my summon isn't going to like you, and your summon very much. It's ironic really."

A large explosion of smoke blocked all visibility for a few moments. Of course Ryugia could see not only Mako's chakra, but the chakra of his blasted axe. They were both strong.

"I may have to use that....." he muttered to himself.

Before he knew it, he was high in the air, standing on the head of a 30 ft long bronze dragon. His head big enough to fit five people while standing in his mouth.

"Mizu. Take a look at our opponent. See the axe he is holding. It's his summon. Hi main chakra nature is clearly fire, so you shouldn't have to much trouble there. Though isn't it interesting how his summon has literally become his tool."

"It's appalling Ryu. I would never partner with him."

"You'll have to forgive Mizu. He has a really stuborn nature, and the one thing he hates is summons becoming another tool in a Shinobi's arsenal. That is why he has never become a summon for someone before. This world is truly full of irony. any way. I'll try not to waste too much time since you are in a hurry. Mizu I think a water jet would be a good start."

"As do I" Mizu quickly let forth a ragin stream of water from his mouth aimed right at Mako.(Power 30, speed 30, range 40 meters)

"Good, now let's get this over with." Ryugia quickly wove a series of hand signs. BOAR-SNAKE-HORSE-TIGER. "Lightning Illusion: Flash Pillar!" A bright light began to emanate from Ryugia's body. It would become so bright that it would momentarily blind all who saw it, but it would also insare those within 20 feet of Ryugia in a powerful genjutsu. (Power 40. If health is less than power of jutsu, afflicted is blinded for 3 posts. Genjutsu lasts at max 5 posts, cooldown 6 posts.) Ryugia would keep the genjutsu simple. It can't effect body control, or movement at all, but it could effect sight, touch, and hearing. Ryugia would create an illusion of Mizu and him for Mako to fight, amd erase their real selves from his vision. while he and Mizu would move out of the way. He would layer the illusion over their last position, so to make it seem as if they had not moved. He would also eliminate his and mizu's sound. other wise Mako was in complete control of his body. From here Ryugia could plan his next move.

"An Uchiha questioning the honor of a Sarutobi, our ancestors would turn over in their graves," Mako retored, "I always like to have my weapon at the ready".  The flicker in Ryugias eyes activating.  As he was saying this he watched Ryuugia preparing his own summon.  

He wondered what kind of beast might come. With two hands on the Axe he dropped it to the ground.Then through the smoke he saw Ryugia atop the head of a massive serpentine dragon.  He saw that they rose about 10 feet in the air with the length of the dragon extending back 30. He listened to their taunts and shook it off. And began concentrating on his Haki ability showing the aura of Ryugia.  

The dragon launched a stream of water from its mouth and Mako began to spin around creating momentum and launching the Flaming axe directly up into the air. The axe spun into the sun's path causing anyone noticing to lose track of it. Due to the blinding effects of direct sunlight.  Mako used the momentum of the spin to side step the water stream as he noticed Ryugia beginning his own technique. The water passed by his left side harmlessly blowing a chunk of ground behind him off of the cliff face.

He lowered back on his right leg and launched himself toward Ryugia who was on top of the dragon head only about 10 feet in the air. Using the flicker technique Mako launched from night next to where he was standing aoment earlier to slighty in front and to the left of Ryugia. he reached him at a speed of 93 and as he passed him he drew his tanto with his right hand out of his left leg pouch and slashed Ryugias left shoulder

He slashed him (force of 5) him a moment before the jutsu was complete and slid down the dragons back just after it was activated. The light shone from around his back. 

Even though he wasn't looking into it, it seemed to blind him nonetheless. He assumed genjutsu, so he closed his eyes and honed his senses on Ryugia making him out and immediately locating his aura.  With the Haki he would have to focus more on concentrating where ryugia was but did not have any difficulty keeping track of the Uchiha.

Mako landed and turned facing the dragons and Ryugias direction. With hl the forest only about 10 feet from his back he knew he could jump back and hide if he had to.

Ryugia could see the attack coming, but wasn't quite fast enough to dodge it. He felt the cool blade cut a gash in his shoulder. As Mako passed he spun with the momentum of Mako, rotating as he was pushed backwards. He launched 20 kunai aimed at Mako's back (strength 50, sharpness 50). He was now falling forward, but thanks to Mizu's quick thinking he landed on Mizu's tail, and rode it all the way to the bottom, being deposited about 10 feet in front of Mako. 

quickly Ryugia pulled a small scroll from his weapons pouch. unfurling it just a little he pressed his hand to the scroll there was a small explosion of smoke, and a seal disappeared on the page, transforming into a four foot long sword. It was thin with barely any guard. It was clearly meant for quick slashes, and even faster thrusts. The blade was solidly set in a cylindrical blue crystal, that pulsed with electric life. Small sparks bounced along the shining metal blade as well. 

"I'll bet my blade is just as strong as your axe, and much stronger than that tanto."

Ryugia was very unsure how to proceed against Mako. He had been running strategies in his head, but he had come up with very few options. from what he could tell he was slightly slower than Mako. He needed to come up with something fast. Perhaps if he used some of his faster jutsu, he could distract him long enough to hit him with a chidori.

Mako had made his sword slash and it hit home and his cunning gambit had worked he had successfully interrupted the jutsu that Ryugia had been forming.  He didn't know what the jutsu was but Mako couldn't allow Ryugia to get anything off on him.  After the midair slash Mako began falling back to the ground and witnessed Ryugia unleash a barrage of kunai directly at him.  The proximity of the attack was too close and he didnt think he would be fast enough to dodge all of them, he had to think quickly.  He started forming hand signs.  HORSE->TIGER he hit the ground and spun as quickly as he could the kunai being less than a meter from him, As he exhaled and a large fireball rocketed off in the direction of the kunai sending them flying and redirecting them in different directions, keeping Mako safe from the barrage.  The fireball  however would continue its ascent upward at Mizu.  (Power20 Spd20)  Ryugia had already been placed on the ground in front of him.  They were face to face now.


Mako had noticed that Ryugia pulled out a weapon of his own and Mako had to chuckle because now they would get to play for real, Mako responded by pulling his tanto and igniting it in chakra that seemed to come off of the 2' blade extending out an additional foot.  As the axe that had been thrown up and hidden by the rays of the sun came into sight. It spun  like a flaming wheel directly at Mizu.  The timing of the two attacks so perfect that Mizu had to choose how to survive and likely wouldnt make it through the combo attack.  MAko knew if he could force the dragon to unsummon the battle would be more in his favor.  A fireball raging in front of him and a spinning axe that seemed to be controlling its own trajectory coming in from the back, set to remove the dragons head.  (Throwing speed 65) (Axe can control its own movement so you cant dodge it and make it hit me  ;P)
