Ashur jumps the gun... (Mission, private)

Mission:

Ashur the greedy bastard decided he wanted to become Chuunin or bust. Instead of actually training and honing his skills equally, he decided it was best to focus on learning how to use his chakra to cast very powerful juts instead of actually learning jutsu and skills. Now he faces hell.

Ashur looked around the maze as a timer counted down for him to begin. This was just one of the three trials to try for Chuunin, and Ashur wanted to have that rank to prove himself with. He had a few... tricks for getting away with this trial, but little did he know, he just put his life at risk for a title.
"3."
Ashur looked at a picture of the scroll, and sweat filled his palms.
"2."
The boy took out his pokeball, and remembered he was never alone.
"1."
Oh shit, he begins to realize he isn't ready.
"Go."
Ashur takes off his sandals, and leaves them there. He knew how to be more stealthy without them. Stealth was something he needed, but he was a loud mouth at heart.
"Brandon, I chose you to save my ass!"
Ashur lightly pressed the button, and released Brandon in front of him.
"Toxicroak!"
The boy quickly shhed the frog, and made sure he was still okay with his ears.
"We need to whisper. We need stealth. This is the trial we talked about."
The frog got angry.
"Already? You don't even know a jutsu besides the academy ones."
Ashur nodded, and sighed.
"You have a point, this is worth a shot though."
The toad realized they had no choice, and sighed as well. The two then walked down their first hallway, and kept an ear out for the sentry's. Ashur then brought out his pokeball again.
"You will have to go. I need all the stealth I can get."
Brandon nodded in disappointment, then returned into the little ball. Ashur put the ball away, and sat down. He thought about his situation and thought about it hard. He was going to make up for his lack in skill with his smarts. After a few minutes passed, he nodded to himself and got up. He walked to the end of the hallway, and looked down the left hallway and right hallway. The left one was darker then the right one, but the right one was covered in a bunch of spikes in odd places. He choose the spikes over the darkness. At the end of the hallway was a left turn that Ashur looked down to see a sentry at the end of it and three more hallways branching off from it. He was going to use his first plan of action, the dark hallway was way too risky. The sentry began to turn towards his direction as it looked around the area, and Ashur twisted a spike out from the wall. It resembled a senbon except for the screw part at the end of it. He then threw it as hard as he could towards the ceiling behind the sentry. The sentry quickly looked up as Ashur sneaked down the hallway to the next right. It took the sentry a few seconds before realizing it was tricked, then looked towards where Ashur used to be and fired a couple of rockets. The explosion would have killed Ashur if it hit him, but he was already down the next hallway.
"Sucker."
Ashur muttered this under his breath, and began to sweat heavily. He took off his shirt, and got a genius idea! He tied the neck opening and the sleeves then used it to hold a bunch of spikes! He collected spikes off the wall, and made his way down the hallway. The design of the first sentry area seemed to be 4 hallways in all directions going in a circle around the sentry. Each hallway lead out to a main hallway the sentry could look down, and the next hallway was down the hallway behind the sentry! He now understood why he was able to see a turn behind the sentry to the right in that hallway. He made his way through hallways on alert, then got to the next main hallway the sentry could look down. He was lucky to see the sentry wasn't in his direction when he poked his head out, and he saw a hallway close. Ashur wasn't about following the rules as usual though! He took his pants off, and was now only in boxers. He then took a bunch of spikes through his pants, and poked a few tiny holes for the wind to pass through. He then threw the spikes and shorts as hard as he could. At first it was a collapsed version, then it opened up by the wind and showed a double layer of shorts with holes to let the wind pass through. Ashur then threw a spike from his shirt towards the ground in the hallway, then jumped backwards. He landed on his feet, and didn't make much of a sound. His shorts then covered the sentry's view as it looked over for him. He saw this, and ran like hell down to the hallway behind the sentry. As he did the sentry shook off the shorts, that luckily didn't have any holes in them that were covering the sentry's view, and the shorts began to fall. Ashur was just at the end of the hallway and hiding wasn't possible. He then threw his entire shirt of spikes towards the right of him, then slide down onto his side. He then slid by as the sentry looked over at the load of spikes in the other direction. He had just barley made it, as the sentry began to look in his direction. One more second and he was going to get it. Adrenaline filled him to the brim, and he was wearing a couple coats of sweat. He had to continue on though in his boxers.

Ashur was on death's doorstop now, realizing one rocket from those sentry's would kill him, so he got a brilliant idea. He put on his goggles, and pulled out Echo's Ninja Handbook! He read through the book to see if their was any advice on how not to die in this situation. He then saw what to do when you might die, and sighed. He wasn't going to run!!! He couldn't anyway! Ashur closed the book, and put his flak jacket on. He the saw the walls were painted to look like gold at the next place, and saw the scroll at the end of the hallway.
"Wait there were two more."
Ashur muttered to himself. He knew something was up, there was no way. The scroll hung from a fishing pole wire it seemed, and was hooked in. He would be able to reach it easy, but would the string retract?
"Fuck it."
Ashur walked down the hallway, and saw the two sentries both pointed towards him. He paused in fear, then thought he had lost. He thought it was all over, but then realized the sentry's had caps over their cameras, but they also had a special attachment.
"Hello, hello!"
The scroll was raised out of reach, and a man in a red suit came up to Ashur with a microphone.
"These Sentries are going to take off their caps and shoot you down if you don't play a game of Genin says with me."
Ashur tensed up, and knew this guy was going to put a twisted spin on a children's game. He kept quiet though, and nodded.
"Win, and get the scroll... lose, and get killed!"
The man laughed excessively, and Ashur saw a button on his wrist to trigger the sentries. It looked like a watch, but Ashur wasn't stupid. He got close to the man, and walked onto the "X" he thought he was supposed to go onto.
"Good, you are already one step forward."
Ashur remembered the academy, and began to realize what was going on. The boy then tackled the man and stabbed a kunai through his wrist. He made sure to keep the arm with the watch from touching the floor.
"It was a trick. You were testing me to see if I learned from the academy, but now I see what is going on."
Ashur took the watch off the man, and put it on his wrist. The man was much weaker then Ashur, but seemed to be part of the Nara clan. That was the only twisted game of simon says he could think of. The man didn't look worried at all, and was simply impressed.
"Never trust another person. Never give into their games. You make your decisions. That was lesson fifteen at the academy."
Ashur released the man, and then threw the kunai towards the fishing line. The line was cut, and the scroll landed into his hands. He smiled, and took off the watch. The sentries became inactive, and the man put pressure on his wrist and was greeted by a medical ninjutsu ninja.
"I did it! I really did it!"
Ashur jumped up and down, and released Brandon from his pokeball. He then grabbed his kunai, and felt happy to have completed this. This task was one of many though, and he still had two more tasks even harder then this one! He knew now he had some work to do, and so did Brandon, but at least Brandon was training in the pokeball the whole time!
"Ashur you actually did it. I was already planning to try to get a new owner after you died."
Ashur smiled, and knew it was a joke. The two then walked out of the double doors, and Ashur had a bright grin on his face. His clothing was then returned to him, and he looked at least decent.
