The Sword meets the Shadow

Today was the day. Putting on his normal clothing and attaching his head band to the side of his sash he made his way towards the Hokage chambers. He wanted to see if he could get a permit to travel the world in search of the answers that he needed. Finding his way silently towards the Administration building and soon the Hokage's office, Kasuga knocked on the door and entered.

Jason would be in his usual seat behind his desk on this seemingly normal day. Although Jason's 'normal' days consisted of things like spur of the moment spars, promoting Hideyoshi, out of the blue transplants and the occasional visit from a missing ninja. Today would of course be no different. There would be a knock on the door and one of Jason's Jounin would enter. He didn't recall ever having spoken to this one before. Pushing aside the papers he was working on Jason would sit up and fold his hands in front of him on top of the des. "Please, take a seat." Jason would then wait for the ninja to sit in the chair in front of the desk before continuing. "Now, what can I do for you?"

Looking at the Hokage for a moment, he then looked at the seat and sat down for a moment before pulling out a pad of paper and a pen. Writing down something he would slide it across the desk and show the Hokage what he had said " Well I came here to ask you a question about something, it is important to me on various levels because I feel as if it could help me gain more insight on myself and what i'm meant to become. I would like to gain permission to travel the world for a bit, not long but I want to travel in search of myself. Somewhere out there is someone who can answer the questions i needed answered and i want to look for them" tapping his pen onto the desk lightly, he would wait for Jason to push his pad back before replying to whatever the Hokage said.

The ninja did not speak but instead wrote down what he wanted to say on a pad and pushed it toward Jason. Jason would pick up the pad and read it. So he wanted permission to travel in search of something. Jason didn't see a reason for keeping him tied to the village. They weren't at war presently and Jason had plans to soon form an alliance with Kirigakure and perhaps the new village of Haven. He had already come up with an idea to send one or two of his ninja to Haven as envoys for the alliance. Kagusa was not needed here at the moment and so Jason did not want to keep the man here for no reason.

Jason would push the pad back over to the ninja before speaking again. "I can allow you to become a wanderer based out of Konoha for now. Other villages will have your information and should allow you access within their walls. Konoha is not at war and there is no need for you to stay within it's walls if you feel you must do this."

There was a smile ever present on the face of Kasuga as the Hokage accepted his proposal to travel, this meaning he could no go about and find out more about himself. Then again he had no idea where to go first so he would simply leave that to fate in itself. Nodding slowly he would flip to another page he had wrote recently before coming in "I would...um also like to ask for at least twenty thousand ryo...This is just to equip myself for the long journey to wherever I go. I promise to pay this back when i come back to the village, but for now it is all i need to get a headstart on my travel." he knew it was alot to ask for, but considering he didn't know how long he would be gone it wouldn't be bad to ask.

Jason took the note pad again and his eyes widened at what he read this time. Twenty thousand ryo. That was quite a sum of money. Jason thought about it for a moment. If it was used to protect and equip his ninja to ensure he was safe then it was worth it. Jason nodded to more himself than Kagusa but still he nodded as he passed the note pad back. "Alright. I will lend you twenty thousand but I expect it to be paid back. I have to tell you I have fifty percent interest on all my loans. That's thirty thousand ryo upon repayment, are you sure about this?"

All he could do was nod as he smiled and stood up, offering his hand to shake the Hokages. He didn't need to write anything down to show that he agreed to the terms and conditions of the male though thirty thousand did sound a bit much. After shaking his hand he grabbed his pad and made his way out of the door to head home and prepare for his long journey.

Jason stood up and shook hands with the male as the terms were apparently agreed upon. Jason watched as Kagusa picked up the pad with a smile on his face and left the office. With that Jason would return to his paperwork as usual.
