Ascension (P , NK)

Quite a clear day here in Kumogakure. Royalty knew once he had peeked through his bedroom window, what this meant. Training day.. It felt as if the training grounds were calling him. The day was all to himself. No more studying for the academy, and his mother was off for the day.

The young genin wasted no time getting dressed. His time allotted getting ready was rather short. He wasted no time, not even to eat a healthy breakfast. Food would probably just make him lethargic and sleepy. That wasn't needed at the moment. Now to set off.

Royalty walked out the front door. Gorgeous. Not too much sun could poke its way through the beautiful clouds. As a result, it wasn't all too hot. Either way, Royalty had already prepared a bottle of water. It's a necessity to stay hydrated. He began to walk towards the training grounds.

As Kyson wake up to a wonderful day. He has a strange feeling that today was going to be a good day. What could this feeling be? He had a strange gut feeling that told him to go to the training grounds. But that was no surprise for him because training is like oxygen to him, he can't live without it. So he quickly put on his clothes walked over to his kitchen. He toasted some whole-wheat bread and drank a glass of water and he was on his way to the training grounds. 

As he walked outside on this clear day, he slowly soaked in the wonderful environment surrounding him. But what is this.. he notices a boy that he went to the ninja academy with. A young tall shinobi that he recognizes but he can't quite put his finger on it.

Kyson noticed the young shinobi named Royalty. He had a irritated look on his face for a second when he got his name wrong but he recognized the young shinobi. He graduated with him at the ninja academy. He was the only person that caught Kyson's eye and also the only person he could see as a possible rival.

"It's Kyson.. and I know you. Your name's Royalty, the guy who's just tall for no reason huh?" Kyson says while laughing softly.

"Aha, it's in the genes. My parents often use me as their personal ladder.. Funny, because my dad is shorter than me," said Royalty.

He chuckled after because of the fact Kyson had brought up his height. Obviously it meant something to him being the first things he brought up. Before uttering more words, he had turned in Kyson's general direction.

"So what are you doing around? I'm just going to the training grounds. Have some things I'd like to work on."

"Ha what a coincidence, I was headed there myself. I see your a person who trains a lot and wants to get stronger. But I won't let you get ahead of me!" Said Kyson.

Kyson quickly runs past Royalty and proceeds to the training grounds.

"You really have no choi..."

Before Royalty had a chance to even finish his smart remark, Kyson had already jetted passed him. He then said under his breath.

"I'm just prone to not being able to finish my sentences I guess.."

After Royalty had finished speaking to himself, he began running behind Kyson. He followed until they had reached the grounds. It was only a few meters down the road. The majority of walking had already finished by his lonesome.

When Royalty usually comes here, he usually likes to train under the tree with the most shade. It usually varies upon whether the sun is rising or setting. The tree to the east receives the most shade in the mornings and the tree to the west receives the most in the evenings. It had been the morning so he choose the most eastern tree.

Placing his water bottle down, Royalty soaked in the atmosphere. He then proceeded to stretch. He usually likes to take a jog around the whole training grounds. It's pretty big when you think of it. A few laps usually gets your heart rate pumping.

Royalty only really stretched his basic muscles in his legs. He felt as if it were a waste to overdo it and to focus on his whole body. Starting off was the calf stretch, which he held for 10 seconds then eventually switched to the latter for the same amount of time. Quadriceps were next. Balancing himself on the tree with his arm, he held onto his left ankle for 10 seconds. Then after, he worked on his other.

Being still a kid, he was rather impatient. Royalty then thought of something. He could show Kyson his Shining Medical Eye that he had researched about. He didn't know how popular the ability had been, but he felt like sharing anyway.

"Hey Kyson, watch this."

He told him this while running toward where Kyson had been. Royalty then closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath. When he opened them, the glowing shine from his eyes were definitely noticeable to anybody paying attention.

"I found out about this when I was younger. I was in the hospital working with my mother. When this patient came in, it was like I could see his bodily infrastructure. I even saw poison in his system."

Knowing he didn't know the full limitations and abilities, Royalty didn't like to leave it on a lot. Due to this fact, he closed his eyes and took another deep breath. When he opened them, his eyes were back to normal. A slight smile could be seen on this young boys face. He had felt a sense of accomplishment as if he were showing off to Kyson. Kyson was also the first person he has told. Telling his parents would have been too weird. They would probably not take it lightly and think there's something wrong with him.

"Got anything special you can do?" said Royalty to Kyson.

The two young shinobi finally made it to the training grounds, but of course Kyson made it there first because of his head start. Kyson usually trains every single day somewhere in the open. Maybe in a field where he can do some sprints or even by a lake to work on his water ninjutsu, since water is his main element. Kyson started his training off by doing some simple stretches on his arm and legs, but first starting with the arms. As he finished his arms and began stretching his legs. He looked over towards Royalty and and noticed that he was training under a tree. Kyson smirk telling himself "I won't let this guy surpass me." It was clear that Kyson saw the young shinobi as his arch rival.

After Kyson had finished stretching, he began doing two sets of fifty push ups but only using one arm with each fifty he did. He usually always started off his training doing push ups. For some reason doing push ups gives him a lot of motivation to train even harder. Kyson finished the two sets of fifty push ups in no time. But he didn't feel like two sets of fifty was enough this time. Could it be because there was another shinobi as strong as him training just as hard?

"I knocked those out pretty easy. Ha! Guess it is time to raise the intensity up a bit." Said Kyson.

He did another two sets of fifty push ups by using one arm with each fifty. But as he was on his last set of push ups. He was struggling finishing up the last ten push ups he had to do with his left arm. "Forty-one! Forty-two! Forty-Three.. Forty-Four......Forty-Five." Kyson said as he pushed up on his Forty-Fifth push up struggling and just barely getting up there. He began feel fatigue in his right arm but was not willing to give up on these last five push ups. As he looked back towards Royalty, seeing him train as hard as him was irritating the young shinobi but it also was exciting for him to see some competition. Then BOOM! From nothing but mere determination. Kyson knocked out his five remaining push ups as if it was just a warm up. 

After a hard work out, he sits up and notices Royalty walking towards him. He is filled with questions as to wondering why Royalty is walking towards him. Royalty showed Kyson his kekkai genkai called the "Shining Medical Eye." After Royalty had finished demonstrating his technique, Kyson was highly impressed and even felt a bit of jealousy. 


"Wow.. I'm speechless man, but don't think your the only one with a special technique." Kyson said with a little cockiness.

He takes out his bottle of water and drinks it all quickly. He then picks up a palm sized rock and throws it directly above his head. The rock quickly came straight down towards the top of Kyson's head. As soon as the rock touched Kyson's head. Kyson entire body turned him into a puddle of water and leaving him with no damage at all. He then moves as a puddle two feet next to the rock and solidified to his normal body. 


"Cool, huh?" Asked Kyson with a smirk on his face. "Hey I'm bored, you wanna race or something? Loser runs ten forty meter sprints!" Kyson Requested.

As Kyson is throwing the rock into the air, Royalty is so clueless as to what he was about to do. When the piece of gravel reached its highest point then came down, he watched closely. Sooo was Kyson just going to let the rock hit him on the top of the head? That would be dumb, Royalty thought to himself. It obviously had to be something more. He then witnessed what Kyson was capable of.

The second Kyson's body liquefies, Royalty is in shock. At first, Royalty had been quite startled. He had never seen anything of this sort. He did not know what to make of it. The young boy's eyes became instantly wider. What had began of Royalty's counterpart? All there was left was a small puddle on the ground where Kyson had stood.

*Splat*

Now the rock had finally landed. Still no sign of Kyson. Royalty looked around for him, completely oblivious that the manifested water was Kyson all along. After some time of basically looking clueless and stupid in front of Kyson, is when he moved over a few feet a reformed. After Kyson asked him if it was cool, this is what Royalty had to say to the other young genin.

"WOW! YOU LITERALLY BECAME WATER ?! How does that even work, haha," as Royalty had let out a slight chuckle. He didn't laugh all too hard as he wasn't finished what he had to say.

"I mean honestly. What happens to your brain, your heart, your bones? Are your organs transforming with you?" Royalty was all too hyper. Never before could he fathom the extent of what others could do with themselves. Maybe he wasn't the only special one, no matter how satisfying that may have felt. Having not really explored the world much, there could be so much that he doesn't know about. So many different abilities and much variety. Being a shinobi in training came with many surprising details.

"Wait, you want to know something weird? If I am able to see bones with my bloodline, I wonder what I see when I look at you in that state. Would it not be cool to see first hand what makes up your puddle of water. I am pretty sure it can't just be plain water. You are a human being, it would have to be more of the story."

Royalty spoke with much fascination in his tone. Kyson had been so much of an interesting person that he felt somewhat eager to learn more. To learn what else could be a thing in today's world. He was so happy he had chosen to step out today. None of this would be happening right now.

"Hey I have a question," said Royalty. Would you mind doing it again? I want to try and see what I would see if I'm looking at your liquid state with my eyes. I know damn well I wouldn't see your bones or anything, haha."

Intrigued by the possibility of his proposition, Royalty impatiently waited on an answer. It also occurred to him that maybe Kyson would become the first real friend that Royalty had ever had. Being such a worker, he had not had that luxury as a kid. Almost as if he's been living as an adult his whole life.

After Kyson solidified his body back into his original state. He saw the look of excitement and curiosity in Royalty's face. Royalty then began to ask questions as to how Kyson's spectacular jutsu works.

"It is called Hydrification, it is sort of like a substitution jutsu but except using water, but there is kind of more to it than that" Kyson responded scratching his head and feeling flattered by Royalty's reaction. 

Royalty then asked what happens to Kyson's body parts and internal organs after it all liquefies. The boy was really enthusiastic and curious on how his body worked and what it was really made of.

"Ha ha, It is really kind of hard to explain. I feel exactly the same as I was before but at the same time, somehow different you know?" Kyson said.

The more fascinated Royalty got, the more Kyson began to feel comfortable with Royalty. Kyson grew up alone because his parents died when he was two years old. So he really had trouble approaching and getting approached by others. But there was something different about Royalty. He felt like the two of them are exactly the same but different at the same time. He did not really know how to explain this feeling, but for the moment he was just glad he had someone to talk to. Royalty then asked if he can use his bloodline technique while Kyson was using his hydrification technique to examine the water his body transforms into.

"You know what? I would like to find out what this water is made up of as well. Even though it is sort of embarrassing that I do not understand my own jutsu." Kyson said while chuckling.

Feeling a little embarrassed about the lack of knowledge to his own jutsu. Kyson was still just as curious as Royalty about understanding his bloodline jutsu. Maybe understanding what it is made of and knowing how it is made would allow Kyson to improve it into something greater. The two shinobi are extremely eager to learn about the hydrification technique. No one has ever been this interested in Kyson for a long time. So to have someone who is willing to work with you and become friends must feel real soothing for Kyson. Kyson was having thoughts as to maybe he would like for him Royalty to hang out like this on a daily basis. Right after that thought, Royalty asked Kyson if he can do his hydrification jutsu again while he uses his Shining Medical Eye technique to examine the water.

"Sure I'll do it again." Said Kyson

"But after I show you, promise me you'll tell me a little about your shining eye thing.. and maybe you could. I don't know, maybe teach it to me ha ha." Kyson requested with a smile and a chuckle.

"But anyway, here we go" as Kyson proceeded doing his hydrification jutsu.
