Another day, another alarm clock. Awoken by the incessant beeping that burst forth from the little machine at six in the morning, Risako's arm shot forth from under the covers in preparation for her morning ritual, seizing the black plastic device, and slamming it into the night stand. A soon as its bottom touched the flat wooden surface, the plastic began to shatter and crack, splintering into a few different pieces. Risako grumbled, rolled back over, and then decided she had to wake up, a muffled but audible "Dammit," coming from under the sheets. After all, she was a chuunin, meaning she was supposed to be doing something productive for the village.

Her thin fingers clutched a section of the sheet, before tossing it to the side. One foot would move to touch the floor, as her right arm was positioned to separate Risako's body from the only thing that gave her any comfort. Physical comfort anyway. Extending her arm, she pushed herself to a sitting position, with her left leg hanging off the bed, and her right tucked under her left. Her eyes drifted to the floor of her apartment for a moment, before her left hand was slowly brought to the corner of her mouth, where it wiped away a spec of drool. She blinked for an extended second, and then brought her hand to that sweet spot behind her left ear that itched for some reason every morning, and started scratching at it. Just satisfying the little itch sent shivers down her spine, and gave her a tingly feeling in her feet for some reason.

Leaning a bit, she lifted her right leg out from under her left, and pushed on her bed to bring her self to her feet. Risako shook her head back and forth, in an attempt to shake out her hair, which at this point was a rats nest. Still groggy, she staggered to her bathroom door, which wasn't all that far from her bed, and gave it a push to open it. As it creaked open, her hand shot in to turn on the light, followed soon after by the rest of her body. She quickly waltzed over to the shower, and gave the knob a twist. There was no point in waiting, she lived in an apartment with a shitty water heater, so the water wasn't going to get that warm anyway. Not that it was a bad apartment or anything like that, rather nice actually, but too many people shared the same water heater. Her body was used to the cold water by now, and as such, she hardly reacted.

After a few minutes she turned the water off, her hair went from a rats nest back into little locks that fell straight to her shoulders. Running her hand through her bangs, she reached for her towel which sat on it's rack, like towels do. I mean really, what'd you expect the towel to do? Sit? Stay? Roll over? Bringing the towel to her head, she began to ruffle her hair. This put it back in its usual messy-but-not-a-rats-nest state of being, like a fine case of bed-head. Her bangs were pulled to be out of her face, and the rest of her hair kind of curled and draped around the rest of her head. After mostly drying her hair, she patted her body down and threw the towel on it's rack.

The towel hit the wall and slumped to the floor, either in protest of its owner, or more likely, since it isn't a sentient being, she missed the rack when she threw it. Oh well, she'd just get it later. It's not like a towel on the floor would come back to bite her in the ass in any way, shape, or form. One leg at a time, she'd step out of the shower, and step in front of her sink. Risako's fingers wrapped around her tooth brush as she snatched it up, bringing it to her mouth. Oh my fuck, I'm done describing her morning routine. Long-story-short, she brushed her teeth and practiced proper hygiene.

After putting on her clothes, which was a black long sleeve shirt, and a pair of black pants, she sat on her bed. Aside from the flak jacket, she was wearing the standard Konoha uniform. Leaning over the side of her bed, she grabbed one of the toe-less sandals that sat in front of her night stand, and slipped it on, tucking her pants into the part that came up to her calf. She repeated this action with her left foot, before standing. Risako stood up, and started for the door, forgetting the most important meal of the- article of clothing. Well, if you value the convenience of not having to argue with your superiors that you are in fact one of Konoha's ninja.

Her hand paused just short of the door, before she retracted the arm like the door would burn her fingers. She took a few steps back ward until she was next to her night stand, and from behind her alarm clock, Risako reached her hand behind and grabbed up her headband. Placing the forehead protector against her clavicle, and tying the cloth part in a loose knot that would be able to pull free if it got caught on something. Pfft, I mean, you wouldn't wanna be the one that hung yourself on accident right?

With the headband secured to her neck, she stuck her left hand in her pocket, and took a few steps toward the door, using her right to slide it open. She walked out, sliding it shut behind her. There was no need to lock it, for there was nothing of value in her apartment, not of great value anyway.

She left her apartment, and proceeded to go to the academy.

One of those topics [P, NK,] Empty Re: One of those topics [P, NK,]

Sun Sep 06, 2015 5:53 pm
A pair of orange eyes opened up as the sun shone through the window. It was intentional, the sun was waking a ninja up for another day of work. The plan of the room was decided by his troublesome, tidy and annoying, yet somehow lovely housekeeper of the building. Nethero closed his eyes as fast as he could, after the sun hit them like needles hit an orange. He jumped forward, standing up on top of his bed, rubbing his closed eyes with his fingers thinking "This is getting annoying...I should find a new way to wake up...". He would then look around in his room like he does every morning, trying to realise where he is. As usual, he would, after a few seconds. "The room changed again... Seriously what is up with this lady? Entering my room and moving stuff around while I'm asleep... Doesn't she have anything better to do?". He would then jump down from his bed and look around for his clothes. "God knows where they must be.". He would then finally find them, wear them and get out of his room in the old building.

He would barely be affording this place thanks to becoming a Genin recently. Finally being able to leave the orphanage would be priceless for him, of course, so he would not usually feel bad about it (although he can not feel the same way about the house-keeping lady whom both scares and annoys him a lot in her own way). He would leave the building and enjoy the sun and the breeze for several seconds. The heat from the sun... That is something that keeps Nethero...well "fired up", ready for whatever this day may bring. He would feel like the sun is what energizes him (and a lot of food). He would start walking through the streets of his village. The streets he has grown up in. They would always make Nethero feel very comforted and happy. He especialy loved the woods though. They were always at the right temperature and sound that Nethero needed them. Anyway, he would walk down these streets one by one, wearing his usual Genin outfit, which he was proud of now that he has beaten the genin exam. He was perhaps a bit old to beat it, but was excited, ready to train and make his way up no matter how late he is. he would also be wearing his scarf, the oıne left to him by his father he never met.

He wondered a lot about his family but sadly had no way of following up their trail. There was none. Literally nothing. Only the fact that his father had black hair and eyes (which was quite generic of course, he could not call the first person he met with dark hair "Papa? Is that you?". He had searched for many books that tells of the clans that originate from Konoha, but he would not really feel like any of their attributes matched his. For now, he would just be carefully watching over this scarf. After being alone with his thoughts for quite a while, he would realise that he has already reached the training grounds. "Another day another training?" he would think to himself, "Or should I go out to the forest to train today? Out there it's pretty nice but there are always people that I can train with here...". He would decide to walk a little more before he made up his mind. When walking down a street with a lot of shops, a sight behind a glass would attract his attention. A dagger, that is unlike any he has seen before.

His mind would be urging to buy this, for whatever reason. He mgiht not even use it but keep it safe on his own. He would then though, see the price tag on it. "That is a lot of money..." he would think to himself, "I am not sure I can afford it... I have to have it though...". He would for a second, (not seriously of course) consider the thought of robbery and make up a perfect plan in his mind. He would be certain that he will not follow it though, but earn the money he needs. Nethero isn't really a person concerned about what he owns, but about wether he deserves it or not. He would then continue walking and continue thinking "Maybe I could go for a mission... I would make some money. maybe not a lot but anything would help really... Maybe I will start saving up for that dagger too...". he would then  look up at the clouds floating in the sky. "Not quite a bad day for a mission, either..." he would think, changing his direction towards the academy in hopes of getting a new mission.

After a while he would reach the academy. He would start checking some boards and asking some people around for a mission for him. For a newly genin, Nethero would be recommended a lot of simple daily tasks, which he was sick of. He wanted something that would challenge him, something that would be "a real ninja work". He didn't want to find lost kittens anymore, or swipe some floors. he wanted to fight crime. Real crime. He wanted to do what he signed up for. Then, he spotted one. An A-Rank mission... Something about C-Rank ninja... Could he? C-Rank Ninja. They must have done something. They must have been able to do something to get that title. Could he do that? Defeat 4 of them? He knew he could not... Not on his own anyway... For some time, he would decide to hang around, see if anybody else was interested in this mission. Someone that he could at least help. He did not really care for a big slice on the prize, but rather the experience.

Kosuke woke with a start. He had been having these nightmares a lot recently. Ever since he moved out of his parent’s house he had been having these random night frights. As he looked around and noticed that it was still dark outside he decided that there was no use in going back to sleep as it was only 4:00 Am. He rolled out of his bed and began to do pushups. First with only his right hand, then with only his left. He had fallen into a ritual every morning he would physically warm up the spiritually warm up. He had gotten to where he could do nearly 200 pushups before he got tired, he knew this was a small feat for a ninja but good to him none the less. He began his sit-ups next, letting the lull of his daily warm up take over and allow his mind to roam. He had come far in his training. He had learned two fire jutsu and had gotten noticeably faster. He was beginning to wonder if maybe it was time for him to take a mission. He thought that maybe a mission would allow him some more experience to have in battle. He had yet to truly spar with someone but even so he definitely wouldn’t mind it.
As he got finished with his warm up he sat down on his mat and began to meditate and focus on controlling is chakra and getting it loosened up and ready for use during the day. He did things like stick to the walls and ceiling and he stuck various items to his person such as weights and things to his arms and torso. This allowed him to practice control and strength training at the same time as this increased gravities pull on him. As he finished his daily warm up he went to make some breakfast, he got out the ramen and used a quick Fire stream to boil it and get it just right being careful not to apply too much chakra. He had been doing this for his meals recently to help boost his control. After he ate and got dressed he decided to go down to the academy which was fairly close to his house to fish around for missions.
He left his door walking at a leisurely pace taking in his surroundings. The large puffy white clouds in the sky giving him the feeling that today was going to be a god day. As he got onto the road and waved hello to the shop keepers that said hello with the best smile he could manage. He has been told in the past that he always looks so serious or brooding and even apathetic, but to him he is just him. He doesn’t try to fit into anyone else’s mold, this is the main reason he can’t live with his overly loyalist parents anymore. He finds the patriarchs ideals out dated and constricting. He just wants to live his life not bound by what his clan head dictates but by what the village dictates. He can’t stand the pompous attitude of so many in his clan. He was broken from his musings after seeing he was nearly at the academy. As he approached the gate he decided that he would wait around a bit before taking a mission as the sun was just beginning to peek over the roof.

Kosuke leaned against a large tree in the academy courtyard within sight of the mission board. He knew that some missions may require him to work with a team, and as such he would need to work on both his people skills and his ability to function as a leader. He would need to be much stronger but he knew that one day he would be chuunin and when that day came he would be ready. He needed to get some more jutsu under his belt and to work on unlocking his lightning element so he could have access to his clan’s light release. But these were both for the future as he needed to focus on gaining more jutsu that could help him in the field. He combed his right hand through his messy black hair as his dark eyes gazed seemingly apathetic around the courtyard and he was lost in thought and the memories this place brought back.

Bursting forth from her door in a quick series of movements, Risako had left her dwelling, and now had to leave the familiar maze of hallways and stair cases that kept her captive and cutoff from the rest outside world of Konoha. Her feet kept a quick pace as she jogged down the hall. Once she reached the end, she hooked a sharp right and found herself facing the stairwell. Shortcuts were awesome, she thought, as she bounced to the third step from the top, and placed her hands on the rail. With a quick and nimble jerk, her arms retracted and she pulled herself over the hand railing. Risako bent her knees to absorb the shock from her fall, and regathered her posture rather quickly. With a twist, she turned, placed her hands on the rails of this staircase, and repeated her action, putting her in another descent.

As soon as her foot touched the staircase, she leaned forward, going into a cart wheel of sorts to complete her last flight of stairs. Risako finished her little acrobatics display with a small bounce, and turned around immediately, in a fluid movement, reaching for the door. Well, she poorly estimated the distance between her and the door, and found her nose flattened against the unnaturally smooth wood. Doubling over, her hands brought up to her nose, she muttered a string of curses, and then drew back her foot, letting it fly forth to kick the door open.

The raven haired, fiery little girl stepped out side of her apartment and took in the fine day that happened to be Konoha's whether this morning. Or she would have, had her foot not caught the bottom of the door. Luckily, Risako was rather swift, able to move at speeds that others couldn't even register most of the time. Unluckily, her brain wasn't quite as swift, and she didn't quite register that she was falling until it was too late to recover. Her hands shot out beneath her, softening her fall slight as they slid against the dirt, kicking up a bit of dust as the rest of her body impacted against the ground.

She pushed herself off of the ground, rose back to her feet, and brushed herself off. For the first time today, her steely grey eyes would flick around, taking in the relatively beautiful scenery of the village. Aw shucks, the village wasn't just relatively beautiful, it was a goddamn photogenic masterpiece. Her steely grey eyes also saw that the sun was up farther than she anticipated, and that she was late. Well, not wasting anytime, her fingers blurred into a hand seal. Any watching her would find themselves watching a blur, and most would literally be unable to see her, only watching the little clouds of dust that her feet left in her wake.

Within seconds, the raven haired girl found herself standing at the gate to the academy. With a push, she gave the gate a quick shoved and took a step inside.

Well. To her surprise, not many people had arrived yet, what day was it? Risako almost slammed her head against the ground. She failed to remember that it was a day off. Well, okay, maybe she could help the boy that was busy looking at contracts on the board. Her eyes took in and her brain processed his features, the reddish hair, muscular build, scarf. All of it only registered one thing in Risako's eyes. Well, two actually. Either this was a genin/student who was bored of the missions given to him by the chuunin/academy teachers (thus he wanted to check out the board where actual mission were posted), or a civilian who was just nosy. Well, it wouldn't keep her from being friendly either way. Due to her lack of attention, the scatter brained girl managed to not see the other boy leaning against the tree.

Risako put on her usual smile that she had when dealing with students, (despite them usually being the same age, she often talked to her students as if she were an adult.) As she took a few steps forward, she called out to the boy, "Hey, do you need help with anything?" Her voice held a positive tone, one that granted those that heard it they would come to pass with no harm from her.

[mind if we do shorter but faster posts from now on? I think that would me more productive. I'll go that way, if you guys agree]

Nethero would first see a boy around the place, leaning against a tree. He would somewhat attract his attention rather quickly. His messy hair and dark eyes would bluntly remind him of someone in the past. He would think of who, but can not remember it clearly enough. He would then decide making his way towards the boy, see if he would be interested in doing a mission or a training, perhaps. While he was walking though, he would see a girl walk up to them. The girl would talk, not revealing her name but instead asking if she could do anything to help. "She couldn't be a chuunin could she?" Nethero would think to himself, "She is too young. Wow. She acts like she is in charge of the place though. Maybe even a Jounin.". Nethero would be quite suprised. He would not be suprised that a Konoha genin is friendly, in fact most of the village ninja were mroe friendly than he could have hoped and guessed. But he would stil be suprised at the direct meeting, wondering why he would choose them to talk to, not that there were many people around anyway, but it would still leave him rather curious.

"Hi."
, he would answer, smiling from the heart, not a whole grin showing his teeth but a slight, sincere one. "Before that, I suppose a formal introduction is needed. My name is Nethero, Genin of village hidden in the leaves. Nice to meet you. And what is your name?". He would wait for an answer, carefully listening, and then speak again, "As an answer to your previous question, I am rather bored of the easy tasks thrown at me; helping old ladies find their lost kittens, sweeping floors, and I am tasked for next week to watch over others who would be cutting the grass on the training grounds. Now I want to repeat this part. WATCH OVER OTHERS, others who would be CUTTING GRASS, they gave me a ruler and everything. Like, I get the point somebody has to do these stuff and the best suited are the Genin, but still it gets boring after some time.". He would then realise he has been talking for quite some time about the missions. "Sorry," he would say, talking once again for apologizing about talking (quite ironic, really), "I must be filled up quite a lot. I'm not one to usually talk this much about trash like that". This time while saying that he would be saying that with a huge smile on his face. "So if you two are as bored as me," he would say, turning to the other ninja leaning against the tree, "Want to do something?".

Nethero would now be adressing the boy leaning against the tree, "As I said, my name is Nethero, who would you be?". Nethero would still be thinking about who the boy reminded him of. He couldn't really tell but was sure it was another ninja he had once met, perhaps not a relative to the boy, perhaps not even close to what he looked like, but his face sparked an old memory in his mind. His thoughts about whom the boy looked like once again turned into how a girl so young could be in charge in the academy. "Perhaps I am wrong.", he would think to himself, "Perhaps she is also a genin. Perhaps she was just asking because she assumed I was someone of a higher rank and wanted to help. Anyway, I can't know until she tells me. This changes everything though. Well not really, it rather adds to what I had in mind beforehand. People at such a young are at such high levels; and she is just ONE example. I bet there are even younger people out there much much stronger than me. It adds to my passion for training. I have to train harder. I have to get better. I have to get stronger. I have to become much much faster. But most of all, I have to learn. I have to learn a lot of things. About the world, about bloodlines, ninja, about what to expect when I go out to the borders for a mission, what to expect when I first stumble upon a missing-nin. I am weak, but not ignorant. I know my limits for now. I know what I am missing. I know my weaknesses. I will use this knowledge to achieve what I am aiming for.".

"Sorry." he would once again say, "I spaced out there for a second.". He would then once again shut up (or at least try to, in his case) and listen closely to what the others might be saying. He would really be interested in these two especially. One reminding him of somebody whom he could not even remember, and one appearing to be higher ranked ninja at a younger age. He also wanted to know more and more people of the village anyways. Not the grandmas of the village, no, he knew a lot of them, enough of them already. He wanted to get to know younger people. People at his age. Especially ninja at his age, the people that could most relate to him, the people that could most teach him new things, the people who could share so much with him, people he could eventually and hopefully be friends with. He would than become more energetic after emptying his mind of these things, and focusing only on the present events and the two people in front of him, and what they would be saying. He would jump on his own place, not being able to stand on his own place, eager to do something knew with these two people.

Kosuke was broken from his musings as a red headed boy with a scarf around his neck began to walk towards him. Kosuke glanced at him with an apathetic stare but he was truly interested. The boy appeared to be around his own age and seemed to be very energetic. As the boy got closer Kosuke could tell that he was about to say something when suddenly a girl who looked to be far younger than either of them spoke up and asked if they needed help. After the boy who introduced himself as Nethero began to ramble about missions Kosuke decided to look over this girl again. Now Kosuke didn’t know why but he felt as if she actually could help them. Then he recalled a basic shinobi principal, expect the unexpected. So his analytical mind went to work. She walked with an air of confidence that he had seen only experienced ninja carry. And behind her soft grey eyes he could see that experience betraying her rank. She had to have been chuunin at the least, his analysis broken as the boy asked him if he wanted to do something. He began to think of all he wanted to get done and then the boy asked who he was. “The names Kosuke Akari, Genin of Konohagakure. And I suppose training wouldn’t be too bad I was looking to learn a few new jutsu.” Kosuke said in an apathetic voice although his eyes betrayed his intrigue towards both this fiery red head and this enigmatic little girl who looked as though she could kill them both without breaking a sweat. He looked over to the girl waiting for her to give her reply.

She slapped herself mentally. Introducing yourself before just butting into someone's business was like an unspoken rule, and she neglected it often due to her being one of the academy instructors, seeing as most of the people already knew her name. After he asked for a formal introduction, Risako's left hand found its way to her pocket, and her right found its way to the back of her neck. Tilting her head slightly, her skin began to heat up a bit. How could she be so stupid as to forget to mention her name? Well. Then again. Risako was kind of an idiot. After a small nervous chuckle, she replied to his question, her tone just the slightest bit uneasy, "Risako Akara, academy instructor. Sorry, I'm used to everyone knowing my name, heheh."

With that out of the way, her right hand was deposited into her the void of her pocket, mirroring her left hand. Her shoulders relaxed a bit as Nethero went on a little rant about the extremely tedious "missions" that were handed out to the genin and students. Really, the missions were just busy work that the elders didn't have the time/care to complete. Boring missions were something that Risako never had a problem with, she was always surrounded by those of a higher rank, and thus was always given the good missions. Most genin don't get brought on S-ranked missions, like she did, after all. Of course, despite not having to do the boring missions, she felt where he was coming from, for sure. Cutting an entire yard with a pair of scissors and a ruler didn't sound fun, not one bit. The whole time he talked, Risako paid attention, showing her attentiveness by nodding.

All was fine until she heard the word "two." Her eyebrows shot up, as Risako turned slightly and looked out of the corner of her eye. Twas one thing to forget your manners, but another thing entirely to not even notice someone when they were standing there as clear as day. To be fair, he was covered in black, but that wasn't really a good excuse. It seemed Nethero was the leader of the little conversation, so rather than ask for the stranger's name, she'd just listen as they spoke. While Nethero conversed, and Kosuke introduced him self, she kept Nethero's question in mind. Of course, she'd love to do something.

As they both finished speaking, and all was said and done, Risako would wait a moment, just a few seconds, too make sure everyone was finished with what they had to say, before piping up and saying, "Well, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to accompany you guys on a mission. You'll get some experience from it, for sure." The manliest ninja in Konoha would pause, then wait another second, to make sure they both wanted to be in on this, before continuing, "Go ahead and pick a mission then, we'll get started."

In the off chance that neither of them wanted to go to do a mission, she'd say instead, "Let's be off to the training grounds then, I'll meet you guys there in a few minutes, just gotta take care of some stuff in the academy."

[Sorry for taking so long to post]

Nethero would note as the girl looked suprised when he talked to the boy leaning against the tree. He would smile at her when he would notice it, finding it rather funny. "Did she not notce him?" Nethero would think to himself. "Risako. Kosuke." he would nod with each name while repeating, "Nice to meet you two." he would say once again, smiling sincerely once again, almost showing all of his teeth. "Well...", he would then say, continuing to talk, "As a matter of fact, I did find a mission odd enough, merely few minutes ago. It was about three or four C-Rank missing ninja. Though, since Kosuke said he would prefer he would prefer a training, I would go with that too. I myself need to learn a few jutsu too.". He would then flex his muscles and get ready for a travel, to either the outside of the village or to the training grounds. He would expect the other two to be much faster than him, but still actually want to see by how far. So, when he would have finnaly made up his mind, he would start talking again, "So... You guys want to race to the training grounds?".

Then his mind would travel back to the girl's words that introduced her to the two boys. "An academy instructor..." Nethero would think to himself, "At such a young age. I have nothing but respect for that, honestly... O.K. perhaps also a little bit of jealousy. But I had it coming, starting the academy and graduating at an age so late, even though I knew I would have eventually went there anyway.". He would then look at the two, thinking about how they both looked younger than him, and probably were. It would only then hit him. "So..." he would say, making a curious face. He would first politely point to the boy, saying "You're from the Akari family...", he would then turn to the girl, his finger this time pointing at her, "And you are from the Akara.". He would then put his finger back. "Am I the only one who finds the similarity odd?". After that phrase, his serious and curious expression would fade away, oonce again leaving a huge smile. "Is there any chance one of these is a clan name?" he would ask. He would find the idea of clans very interesting, and heart-warming, having grown up all by himself, without anyone else giving him his last name.

After a while of listening and waiting for answers, Nethero would finally speak again, "SO", he would shout, "LET'S RACE.". He would seemingly get ready to sprint towards the training grounds. "I'M ALL FIRED UP!". He did like the idea of going to a mission and earning some experience (and oh, some money too...) but he would also really like to get to know these two ninja, and perhaps learning something new. And, if all went and they became used to each other, enough to trust one another, perhaps they could have gone to a mission together in the future.

[Risako, if all is well, you can fast-travel us to the training grounds with your next post.]

Kosuke heard the girl now identified as Risako said she would also like to train. With that said, Nethero challenged them to a race, well, more like him since Risako was apparently an instructor and needed to get things in order. “You’re on!” Kosuke says in a slightly energetic tone. Then before the race could begin, Nethero made an inquiry about the Akari clan. “Yeah, I am from the Akari clan. I have yet to unlock my bloodline or my Kekkei Genkai though I am working on it.” He said with a bit of annoyance as he said the word Akari. He then heard Nethero say something about being fiery and look like he was about to begin the race. Not wanting to be outdone he took off at a speed of 5 towards the training ground not looking back to see if Nethero had followed him.

A race was it? Risako darted into the academy, frantically and quickly telling the first person she saw that she would be at the training grounds, instructing two students rather than her normal daily duties. Almost as quickly as she had entered, the dark headed girl would burst forth from the doors triumphantly, taking off as fast as her little legs would carry her. Both Kosuke and Nethero likely wouldn't see her for more than a few seconds, even if they had started their little race to the training grounds.

It took Risako about a minute to fully cross the village and find her way to the medium sized fields that made up the training grounds. Once she arrived, she skidded to a stop and took over the field with the least amount of people, asking the two that were there to move elsewhere. I mean, she wasn't rude about it, but she could have been less blunt. Risako spared no wasted seconds afterwards, and almost immediately after they left the field, she took one of the training posts that were piled up by the fence against the forest. Grabbing it firmly, she drove one end of it into the ground, so that it stuck straight out, standing at five feet. She repeated this using all of the posts that were in the pile, placing them a meter apart, until she covered the whole field in posts.

Risako figured that she had enough time to do so before Kosuke and Nethero arrived on the scene, taking into account her speed. All in all, it took her about five minutes. When the other two she was waiting on finally arrived, they would find her standing on the post closest to the edge, keeping her balance with one foot. While she would stay perfectly still, her arms crossed, her shoulder length black hair would lift and move with the direction of the slight breeze. With a smile, (after the other two had arrived, of course,) she would announce today's plan. "Hoho! Today we're gonna practice making you guys more agile. All ya gotta do is knock me off one of these posts." She would wait, a second, before continuing with, "There's a catch, if either one of you falls off of the posts, we restart. Now, pick a post, get on top of it, and wait for me to countdown."
