Training While Enraged
Thu Dec 03, 2015 4:34 am
{OOC: This takes place right after Akiko's outrage. My topic in the Hyuuga District. I highly advise reading it first.}
After storming off from her house in the middle of the night, Akiko headed to the only place in which she could vent her anger and frustration without worrying about others. The training area was like a second home to Akiko, but instead of greeting it with excitement and enthusiasm as normal, she glared at the surroundings angrily. The same wooden post that she frequently sat at and wrote in her diary while training taking notes on what she attempted. Instead of a great throne of creativity and fond memories, Akiko saw it simply as a wooden post. The small pond and the other surroundings also had not changed, but to Akiko nothing was right. In her mind, she couldn't identify what was to be trusted and what wasn't to be trusted. "My whole life is stupid!" Akiko had been changed so drastically in such a short time period. Almost instinctively, she walked towards a tree and bent her knees with her hands curved in front of her body in a fashion similar to that of a scorpion's tail. In this fighting position, Akiko's recent haircut was painfully obvious. The hair on the back of her head stuck straight out. It was also a very uneven cut. Some of the remaining long segments were a few inches long, but in other areas it didn't reach even half an inch in length. That wasn't the worst of it. Even though the back was cut very short, the front remained relatively untouched. Akiko's sides wept bangs looked pretty much the same as before the haircut. Akiko glared at the tree and closed her eyes and focused her and anger and rage behind her eyes. After the weaving of sixteen hand signs, Akiko's Byakugan activated. In her anger and frustration, she started jabbing the tree as hard as possible with several Gentle Fist Trigram Punches. The tree remained unharmed regardless of how powerful her blows were and how fast they were. Akiko's rage had met its match. Akiko collapsed from exhaustion and laid still for several minutes before she got up and tried breaking a tree. She reactivated her Byakugan and tried again only to get the same result. This cycle repeated itself several times. Akiko was drastically different now than she had been before. Before she would have desired to get stronger to fight others. Akiko had lost her motivation. She had a much harder time getting stronger now than ever before. In an act of boredom caused by her inability to destroy the tree, the angered young Hyuuga grabbed her bag roughly and pulled it to herself. She grabbed her pen and diary out and flipped through the pages. She read segments about how she got stronger to prove herself worthy of her famous clan. She reviewed how she had put the traditional Hyuuga Clan technique on herself to defend her Byakugan. She even read what she wrote at the hospital earlier that day. "Why does everything hate me!? My parents don't trust me! Why should I trust them after what they did?!" Akiko punched the ground in frustration and started making another entry. "My life is dumb! Everyone that I know is dumb! Even the tree is dumb! I have decided to run away from home and never go back! I no longer wish to be a Hyuuga! I proved this by ge rid of my long Hyuuga clan grown and nurtured hair..." As Akiko said the last part tears formed in her eyes. Her long beautiful hair was gone for good. It would take years to grow it back out to the length it once had been. "This is stupid! I'm not getting any!" She yelled as she threw the diary at the tree. It bounced off the hard bark of the tree and the back cover of the diary lay open at her feet. She glared down at it with anger and disappointment, but because she glared at it for a while she noticed a small corner of a piece of paper sticking out of the cover. Akiko slowly bent down and picked up the diary. It took a little bit of effort to grab the corner that was sticking out and pull it out. "The Hidden Technique of the Hyuuga clan: The Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms... I remember reading about this... But how'd I get this note?!" She stared at the diary and the note for several minutes. "Let's see if I can do this correctly..." Akiko stood back up and activated her Byakugan once again as she got back into her Gentle Fist Stance. Akiko struck the tree several times in quick succession as hard as she could, but was forced to stop by a loud cracking sound coming from her left index finger followed shortly by several waves of intense pain from the same location. This pain only angered Akiko even more and she kept going. However, she still lacked the speed required to achieve Sixty Four strikes consecutively. Akiko's entire hands were sore from all of the effort put into releasing her anger. Her now short hair was soaked in sweat and her jacket was covered in dirt.

Jisei had been passing by the training area this night with not much thought of entering in fact he was just heading home after picking up a few jutsu scrolls when he happened to spot what seemed to be an angry female training to the point of exhaustion. He had not thought much on it but it had been a while since he himself trained so he figured he might as well enter the training area himself. He kept his distance from the girl as he went to a part of the training area with plenty of large rocks before pulling out one of the scrolls on him titled, Earth Release: Rock Section Cane.
He opened the scroll reading its contents before setting it down, the first thing he did was create a one handed tiger seal then focused his chakra on one of the rocks. Nothing had happened of course and he had not expected anything to happen first try, he just wasn’t that lucky. Jisei sighed a bit If only things like this had a better instruction manual to them or I could at least find someone to do a demonstration for me! He had thought to himself.

Akiko looked up from her collapsed position on the ground when she heard someone approaching. She looked up and glanced at the shinobi. He didn't seem to special, so Akiko ignored his presence and started striking the tree again. She could feel her chakra flowing out of her fingertips into the tree causing it to take visible damage for the first time since she had stormed off from her house. She smiled a little bit and continued striking the tree getting progressively faster with each strike. However, Akiko eventually reached her limit and collapsed with a loud grunt of pain. Akiko's rage was a powerful thing, but at the same time, it had pushed her to her absolute limit. She had simply overlooked any pain and exhaustion as she worked nonstop.

{OOC: It has been a few days, since I posted and am going to post now.}
After a while, Akiko woke up and looked over at her bag. The small slip of paper that had reminded the young girl of the incredibly powerful technique of her clan was on the ground next to it. She sat up and grabbed the card. Her mind was now more clear than it had thanks to Akiko's dip into unconsciousness. She looked at the card and thought back to how she had previously been attempting it and then compared that to what she had read of the technique and who she had seen it used. "What have I been doing wrong?" Her thoughts ran in every direction as she attempted to find her mistake. 'Did I miss something when watching others attempt it?' She then flipped the paper to its back and noticed a large circle surrounding several symbols and some smaller circles. "A trigram! Why didn't I think of this sooner?" Akiko jumped up and closed her pale lavender eyes and formed sever hand signs and focusing her chakra into her eyes. The veins around her closed eyelids swelled even larger than they normally did as she activated her powerful bloodline trait. However, she kept her eyes closed and imagined the trigram she saw on the paper around her and moved to where that she would have the tree positioned on the outer line of the trigram. She opened her eyes after lining the attack up perfectly and then she pulled her dominant right hand back and bent forward slightly to where her back was parallel with the ground. She lunged forward at the tree and with the same hand that had been behind her a second ago made a solid jab against the tree and followed it up with another. "Two Palms!" She then with twice the speed stuck the tree with four blows, switching between hands with each successful strike. "Four Palms!" She continued this pattern until she reached thirty two palms and failed to consecutively hit the tree the required amount of strikes at the high enough speed. Akiko fell to her knees and gasped for breath. "That took more out of me than I thought it would..." She glanced up at the tree and noticed that her strikes had finally made their mark. There was about an inch deep cut in the tree that hadn't been there before. Since, Akiko had released the direct anger that she possessed, she was satisfied with her work. However, she now had a new problem. Where would she go? It was unlikely that she would be welcomed home with opened arms. Whatever Akiko did it was up to her to fend for herself now.
