Death or opportunity? (kouse/kira) {P}

.At the fire country..Kouse's face was grim. His thoughts wild. How could things turn out the way it did at suna?..in a million years he wouldn't have predicted that outcome. He was not happy and he didn't hide his frustration. He took a close look at his expensive clothing. They were dirty..it must have been when I had fallen to the ground passed out due to Salzems punch.
He was about to ignore it all when he spotted the uchiha insignia on his dirty cape and he frowned. Tearing off his cape and dropped it on the floor. 
Kouse removed all parts of his dressing that had the uchiha logo on them..the uchiha logo didn't deserve to be displayed on him with the sorry state he was in.
He would renew his wardrobe when he got back to konoha.
He hoped he wasn't yet tagged a missing nin or worse a wanted nin..he hadn't stayed long enough out of the village nor done anything to warrant any of those titles.
He hoped he didn't have to go through some pointless and meaningless questions too..all he wanted right now was to get home and sleep for two days straight.
Kouse smiled at this thought knowing it was next to impossible.
With a deep breath kouse walked slowly on towards his destination

"Hullo little bird..." The words ressonated through the silence, carried by the soft konoha wind to announce her presence. Who was this boy? A missing ninja? Not in her sanctuary. Kira Sat atop a large tree about thirty meters away from where the boy was passing, her armor making it near impossible to sense the girl's chakra. "And.... What do we have here?" She sent a mental message to Selene and Amber to prepare just in case. She wasn't sure whom or what this newcomer was, only that he could potentially be dangerous. Should she summon the drakes, the girl thought taking inventory of the boys power with her chakra senses as assumably he'd stop after being met with the strange greeting. NO. Not yet.

She allowed her body to slip past the branch that had once held her, floating quickly to the ground below. Her Newest armor Gave a glint of black steel as the sun hit it, though there was no actual metal in it at all. The hood was up, hiding all but a few whisps of black hair that spilled out from the base to set at the latched Steel looking face guard and in the small hole provided, about half her face's worth, The raven anbu style mask could be seen glaring out in hues of black and vibrant blue.

Being lost in thought for a ninja while he's out in the open can mean death. Ninjas had been trained extremely well to be alert constantly.. Well at least alert when out of the village.
 But kouse on this day wasn't.. He was lost in his memories of the way life had made a drastic change...all the terrible things that had happened to him came as memories rushing through his mind. So he didn't notice the nearby individual until said person spoke up.
'Hullo little bird'. Kouse's head instinctively turned to look at where the voice came from. His body replying instinctively by going into a battle stance to defend himself if he got attacked.
He watched as the person hopped down from the trees.
He spotted the impressive and intimidating armour being worn and the way the individual spoke made kouse take a deep breath. He didn't have the strength to fight and would do all he could to prevent that from happening.
Kouse slowly returned both his arms to his sides and calmed down...only in appearance though..his mind was as cautious as ever.
"Excuse me..but were you referring to me or someone else?" Kouse asked..he wasn't sure what she Meant by 'little bird'..was she talking to birds or what?.
Kouse would quickly add to further prevent any quarrels..maybe this individual thought he was a missing ninja or outlaw on the run?.
"I'm a leaf ninja and I'm headed there right now" kouse knew the right thing for him to do was just to keep his mouth shut and keep on walking but on seeing the appearance of this individual kouse couldn't help it and curiosity got the best of him.
"And who might you be if I may ask?" Kouse asked ignoring the warnings his instincts gave him.

A wicked grin spread across her lips as she finally noticed him, taking a stance that would be all together ineffective against her. THis was what she'd been missing. With the shattering over and her strength returning she felt more like her old self then she could ever even remember but still, deep within her something cruel laid in wait. The power of the omega hungered for blood. It was why she was paroling the borders in the first place. Seeking out some pitiful Missing ninja seeking to do harm in order to sate her hunger.

Her dilated pupils returned to normal as the boy stated his existence within the village hidden in the leaf. The grip of the omega quelled slowly. This was not a chance to ease the grip of darkness within her, a truth she was all together grateful for. Fear of going back to what she once was still paralyzed her. She'd search his person for a moment with her eyes, looking for the symbol of the leaf, mostly seeking the small glint of silver. If she found it she would simply nod, otherwise she'd preface her next statement by asking where his headband was.

"It is dangerous out here little bird. That is why they keep the pets within the nest.... And you do seem a pet. Not particularly high chakra..... Seeming quite young.... I'd wager..... Genin? Perhaps academy. What brings you so far from home?"

Kouse wondered what would be the response he would receive from this strange individual... He hoped he would get a free pass and complete his journey without any incident..but he expected that not to happen.
He looked at the person who faced him...she must really be a powerful individual judging by what she wore. Having powerful people as friends was a definite advantage in the world he lived in and if this girl was as strong as he thought she was then he would do his best to be friends with her.

Her next words though got his blood roaring, blocking the warnings his mind gave him not to attack.
'It is dangerous out here little bird' kouse's eyebrow lifted up a little..so she was referring to me as a little bird after all. 
'That is why they keep the pets within the nest.... And you do seem a pet'. Kouse's hands both clenched but remained on both sides of his body.
'Not particularly high chakra' kouse's hands shook with anger but they remained controlled.. Barely..but the last sentence made him lose control.
 'Seeming quite young.... I'd wager..... Genin? Perhaps academy'. 
Kouse spoke up forcefully, his voice completely changed from a voice of curiosity to a voice of pure anger and embarrassment.
"What!?..who's a little bird?, a pet?, or a...a genin!!?" Kouse spat out.
His chakra roared to life and his hands instantly locked on the ram sign. With anger he forcefully injected chakra into the jutsu he was about to perform..the great exploding colliding wave.
Kouse would spew out a massive amount of water aimed directly at the rude female stranger who stood 25 meters away.
Waves are created and have width of 25 Meters and height of 20 meters.
After performing said jutsu whether its blocked or not kouse would say.."can a little bird a pet or an academy student do that".

"OOoh. " She followed suit, Superior speed allowing their seals to be finished around the same time. She paused barelly a second as he summoned his own torrent of water and then from her lips spouted a great typhoon of power. Her suiton Crashed agaisnt his, an act that would inevitably cause his defiant eyes to shift quickly. With a power of ninety five her torrent of water would shatter through his easilly roaring towards the small boy only to stop as she shifted the flow. Pointing her torrent downard she allowed the edge of her great exploding colliding wave to cease inches from where the boy actually stood, a terrifying sight assuming he'd stopped his jutsu when the collision chose a victor.

If this was the end of the challenge she would drop, the water ending and a horrific blood curdling screech filling the borders as the scythe of sorrow formed up. Just before she would hit the ground a small circular barrier was formed, breaking her fall and allowing her to stand about three meters from the ground. If he did in fact respond as he described she'd part lips curled into an intrigued smile to say "Well... Yes. I suppose they would. Impressive.... I've not seen one use my trademarked suiton jutsu in some time.... Though it seems you still have quite a ways to go."

Kouse expected his attack to hit her or at least make her try to dodge it desperately. But to his amazement she actually countered it and to his utmost surprise her jutsu overpowered his own jutsu.
He watched in shock as her jutsu came towards him..his own technique utterly defeated. His eyes wide open..how strong was she? Kouse asked himself as he watched her water technique came crashing towards him.
Would I get killed by her here so shamefully? Kouse wondered as he stared...training for hours everyday for weeks...months and years now and yet he was still so easily overpowered?!.
Even as the water stopped inches from his face kouse didn't react, his mind distracting him..preparing him for when the water she sent would slam into him.
'Well... Yes. I suppose they would' Kouse's mind snapped back into focus on hearing this but he didn't take offence to this..well with the power she had she was entitled to say things like that. 'Impressive.... I've not seen one use my trademarked suiton jutsu in some time.... Though it seems you still have quite a ways to go.'
Kouse took a moment and gathered his wits together before speaking up.. It won't do to reply her only to have his voice shaking with fear would it?.
"Yes I do...you just made me realise that the time I've spent training up till this moment is not nearly enough....damn your strong aren't you?".
" I'm kouse by the way...and you are?".

She giggled at his response, the urge to push her jutsu further quelled for the moment. Damn her inability to fight off the darkness. If she'd not given in to youka's teaching the Omega would not have been reborn.... Still She held off against it well enough. "You may call me hell's angel. There have been few I've come across who can match me in ninjutsu, and none within the arts of suiton. I suppose I can thank my mother for that." She let the statement hang in the air. She wouldn't get into the effects of her mothers blood.... Not yet.

"Well with the power of of great exploding colliding wave I suppose you'd be able to hold your own in these borders. But why are you here..."

He heard her giggle...Kouse's eyes squinted..he knew she was finding his reaction amusing.
Listening to her as she spoke kouse wondered if it was wise for him to try to launch a surprise escape plan or something.
But he strangely didn't feel the urge to run away..he didn't know why nor seek out the reason..all kouse did was listen to her.
Hmmm 'hells angel, one of the best in ninjutsu,best in suiton..including her mom being the one who gave her that power'.
Questions popped into Kouse's mind but he held them back waiting for her to continue.

'Well with the power of great exploding colliding wave I suppose you'd be able to hold your own in these borders. But why are you here'.
Why was he here? Kouse asked himself wondering about the meaning of her question.
"Well I could give a lot of different answers" kouse would add with a smile "I could say I'm here cause I'm going back home..but I think that's not what you meant by that question.. Well I'm 'here' cause I have the thirst to get stronger and stronger...you showing me just how weak I am made me realise all the more just how far I still need to go to a satisfactory level".
" moreover I've realised that sometimes using just the basic way to get stronger isn't enough.. Training sometimes won't get you to where you want to go to...but sometimes people need a boost...a helping hand to get them on the right ladder that leads to the top..not one that gets to a point and halts."
Kouse knew he might be talking a lot but that's just how he became when he get emotional.

"Heh. You remind me too much of me. If power is what you want.... I can offer you more then your body might hold. Be aware however the price of power is often steep. If you wish, I can ensure you hold the power to protect what you hold dear but you must follow the rules I set in place. " She saw in this boy potential.... Potential for great strength.... And potential to be twisted as she had. She decided she would not allow what had happened to her to be repeated. If this boy wanted power she would grant it... Along with restraint. Instead of creating a monster prone to murderous rampages she would hone the blade to protect the weak.

"So what do you say kid..... Would you like to learn true strength or hold to that which you thought you'd known."
