"This is um... The " She was interupted as Amber made her way quickly down the stairs with the avatar of sorrow behind her. Kira gave a long drawn out sigh. Amber was far too concentrated on the task at hand.
"Castle of the princesses of the Faewild. Summon realm. Lets. Go. I believe the gardens will be more ideal Greater connection to the natural energy that We need for the technique. Who is..... Nevermind" Amber's tone was fairly dismissive, most likely a balance point for Kiras. The two were truely the same person after all. She'd begin leading them down the eastern corridor, down a long hallway towars a set of intricately engraved gold colored doors that seemed to open of their own accord as they approached.
"Amber this is um.... I dont remember if I actually got your name. He's of the Hyuuga clan This is Amber and selene.... They're my team mates... Sort of? they seek assistance in learning the intricacies of sage mode, a skill that I have some practice in. I should be able to assist them while working with you however. "

Two more women arrived... what, who were these now? One of them mentioned that this place was some kind of summon realm.... wait, the faewild? Koz had no idea what the hell that meant, but from what he could gather, this was some kind of higher spirit realm. In his mind, he organized the levels of higher realms... first, there was the earth itself, then there were the upper, greater, profound, then divine realms. Where did this place in that ranking? His brain had not yet spontaneously exploded (yet), so he gathered that his must not be a divine realm.
Naturally, he had been told horrific stories of old Elder Meng who had torn open space with his sheer human strength and stepped into one of the divine realms, only for him to disappear and never be seen again. Well, it wasn't evident that he had died, but Koz could only think of what grave consequences would await him should he step into one of those places. There were beings above that were most likely far beyond his comprehension, and he did not want to have to deal with them. It was better just to stick with what was safer... for now. Eventually, as a cultivator, he would poke into the unknown, and make leaps and strides in his strength.
What was also pretty interesting was the fact that the teacher had forgotten his name already. Since Koz was rather naive, he took this to mean that she was just bad with names, rather than the possibility that she just didn't give a shit about him. It was pretty diffcult for Koz, who grew up in a closed-off sect, to believe or assume the worst about nearly anyone. He hadn't been fooled enough times yet to start to become cynical.
Naturally, though, it was rather disturbing for him to see his master with her two.... teammates? He didn't know why, and he didn't express it as such. Something was off, but he decided to breathe in again, and focus on the task at hand, while cultivating all at the same time.
"I am Koz Hyuuga", he'd explain to the other two, "... lead me where you will." He didn't know his way around this place, so he felt that it would be best if his teacher and her friends... teammates.... did the leading. He didn't want to fall into some kind of obvious trap.
And what was this.... "sage mode" thing? Most likely, it was some kind of high level skill or spirit ability out of his reach, but he would still like to know about it. If anything, he could study its principles and include that in his cultivation base. After all, one's base could never be too wide, and one's foundation could never be too large. The larger the foundation, the farther toward one's innate potential one could travel without bottlenecks or unforseen consequences. This was, of course, the most desired result: smooth, unblocked cultivation up to one's innate potential for the remainder of a cultivator's lifetime.

"Ah yes. His name is Koz. " They stepped past the double doors and the scenery would change drastically. Before them set a large field, pure golden grasslands stretching out for about thirty meters. Beyond that could be seen the edge of a large forrest and off in the distance to their right the forrest met a wall of rock within which flowed a grand waterfall. It would seem at first that they'd stepped outside the castle, though the trinity knew different. The castle was set quite high in the air, the entrance way not leading to a staircase as would be assumed but instead to a long bridge of vine and wood high in the treetops. The structure itself was opened magically from the center of a Faewild oak, it's trunk split to offer entrance and the contents molden by the Pixie queen into what they were seeing. If he looked Koz would be able to notice behind them that walls stretched out, their surface mirrored to reflect the beauty of the grand garden. Above was a glass ceiling whose foundation was like to stained glass in structure, though the pieces were each blue as the days sky.
"Appologies. I've never been good with names. Girls if you would." At her call the two pixies on Ambers shoulder would flutter their wings, lifting them off of their seated spot and over to the Hell's angel. Touching two tiny hands to her shoulder she would begin to draw the strength to show her teammates the power they wished to learn.

Double doors? They could actually afford those here? Well, when he thought about it, they weren't that uncommon in the sect compound either... well, that was fine then. Still, the scope and size of this place was quite impressive to him, who had been used to simple things his entire life. Did his teacher come here often to train? If so, how did the custodians of this place see her? Blah, of course. Naturally, they must show some favor to her, since she seemed mentally fit enough... Truly, though, he didn't know much about spirit realms, not ever having visited one at any point.
This meant that he was about to cultivate using the world qi of a spirit realm. Would it be any different from.... well, he had already determined that it was. The point was, would it have any different effects than the ones in normal places? Would it have adverse conditions on him? ... Well, it hadn't on his teacher, so what could it possibly do to him? Silly thoughts, he mused to himself. Waste no time thinking about things that don't need to be thought about. Instead, focus on your cultivation, on the Dao and world qi.
Speaking of which, were nature elements different here as well? That was one thing he had not yet considered. Before thinking about that, though, he needed to meditate on his own internal dantian. Since he had increased his strength by some layers, he needed to reorganize that energy in order to strengthen his foundation. It wasn't hard, he had heard that Elder Li Xuan had done it in a single hour. Well, after that, he had cultivated for ten days straight, but that was besides the point. Reorganization was easy, though it needed a bit of willpower to do. When finished, his dantian's capacity should be larger, which would in turn improve his body and allow him to handle and control the gentle fist style. This was Koz Hyuuga's goal.
Still, the scenery around him was quite amazing. But what was more important was its unseen qualities. Koz sat down on the ground, and adopted a meditation position, closing his eyes and beginning to cultivate diligently. Breathe in.... take in the air. Breathe out... take the spiritual impurities and expel them from your body. Turn the world qi into inner qi, and take the natural elements to your dantian. Then.... focus on the way.
Immediately, he began to exert a large amount of willpower onto the energy within his dantian, compressing it and visualizing the results.... which surprised him. A dual element system... this meant that he had already reached at least the second Ling Qi layer and was now ready to move on to the 1st Yuan! Even though 1st Yuan cultivators had no special title, it was still somewhat difficult for a thirteen year old kid to reach it. Now, all he had to do was to keep cultivating, and eventually, he'd reach his goal. First, the gentle fist... then stronger qi.

"be aware Koz. Within the realm of the Fae energy flows differently. It's quite helpful in working on jutsus of course because the constant presence of nature energy grants any who train here an affinity for pretty much whatever task they're looking to complete. THink of it like gravity almost. THe energy gravity here is significantly less so you can go further with each step... ONly instead of moon walking it's ease in controling chakra. " She wasn't actually sure if any of that made sense to the boy. It had only barely made sense to her to be honest. Still she figured she'd try. It was dificult to explain in detail the effects the Faewilds seemed to have on those training jutsus... Mostly because she didn't really understand it. It just kind of worked.
"Now. First you two. Take energy. Use it." All At once her form would begin to change. Her body was bathed in a bright green light, tendrils of reds and blues seeming to thread themselves into her new aura. Her Height was the fist thing to change, her body seeming to thin out as she grew nearly a foot taller thanks to the combination of taking the form of her summons and the effects of a specialized secondary jutsu. Her ears grew at the ends and pointed slightly, her skin shifting from pale white to a almost tanned yellow, and finally they'd reach the coup de grais. From her back two bright blue spears of energy formed, their edges stretching outward and down as the trademarked wings of her summon contract were moulded by her chakra. The outline was a bold royal blue at first, ever aspect of the transformation looking like to a spark of lightning flowing from her back, but as the shape finally finished it's formation the energy shattered, revealing two slightly green tinted gossamer wings that flapped freely a few times before curling themselves inward to lay flat against her back.
"THis is the primary shift in form granted by sage mode."
"Yes yes. We've seen you do it before child. Daruku. Shuurin. To me please." Shuurin let out a playful giggle, her wings carrying her up to dance about the sky towards her true mistress, doing flips and spins as she took every route but the most direct. Her movement would end as she flew just past the girl's armored shoulder, turning in the air to look back at the boy with a mischievous grin before finally turning on a dime to allow herself to fall the short distance of two inches onto her mistresses shoulder. In light of her sister's romp through the air.... Daruku just flew strait line distance to land opposite. Their tiny hands were placed against ambers neck, and as their skin touched they each began to glow with the power of the Faewilds. "Now. We're still Having some issues with the actual formation of the technique. Even within the Fae the power of our nature energy isn't potent enough.
While Amber drew her pixies back to herself Kira turned her attention to Koz, simply waving dissmissively as Amber addressed her again. "Is there something you'll need to work on? Thanks to the power of plot convenience Kira was currently in her fire body, granting her the ability to work on what would be one of her most important techniques as she taught the boy, splitting her concentration three directions. Thank the goddess for her ability to multi task. As she listened, her sharingan eyes studying the path the twins nature chakra moved through ambers body, and likewise the two drakes through Selenes, she went over the hand seals needed to activate one of her ultimate techniques. She was certain that as with many of her more important techniques they were simply a formality, the only problem was how to actualize that.
Lets see, she thought to herself. taking into account the complexity of the technique I could assume that each seal was less about the overall, and more about setting the pieces up. If I think of it like a carver chiseling wood.... THen break it down into segments.... Perhaps I can systematically eliminate it piece by piece.

Koz could barely hear his teacher as he entered an even deeper state of meditation. Within his dantian, he began to set up a system. The system was similar to the one Li Xuan had illustrated to him once in the sand; a picture of Li Xuan's own dantian. Thinking on it now, he realized that was he was about to do was nothing compared to Elder Li Xuan's own efforts. Someday, he knew that he would be capable of reaching that level, but for now, he tried his hand at organizing the elemental and natural energies within his dantian.
First, he located the core spiritual energies of his soul, the power that composed his very being. This was a blue white sun like mass of gaseous-looking energy, and he began to apply pressure to that first, since it was the largest. By some strange logic of spiritualism and sect teaching, he knew that if he compressed this into a more compact form first, everything else would be much easier. Unknown to him, many would call this "gravity", which Koz knew of, of course, but gravity didn't apply to spiritual bodies. How else would the elders fly through the skies? Such a thing, of course, meant that spiritual powers weren't defined by science.
However, spiritual bodies were governed by spiritual pressure. It was like that one time when Elder Lin Feng had crash his powerful Qi down upon a rude student. Everyone in that courtyard at the time (including a younger Koz) had been shocked and awed by the Elder's power... this was spiritual pressure. The ability to flawlessly exert a person's Qi on an opponent was more for intimidation, but if a person was strong enough, then the Qi could win or lose a fight. To pressure and render an opponent immobile... it was a fearsome ability indeed, though not quite as profound as Koz thought it was.
He was straining his mind at this point. A third of it (and the most important bit) was focused on meditating and organizing his dantian, while a second piece was focused on the gentle fist, and the secrets therein. The final piece was actually focused on his teacher, and what she was saying. Even though his complete focus wasn't on her, he would still need to review what she said later, so he kept her words in mind, since he could hear (but not perceive) them at the moment.
Focus.... HUH! His dantian suddenly changed, seeming to have twice the volume it once had. In reality, it was actually the energy of his soul within that had compressed to a very small size, forming a sun-like liquid sphere in the center of his dantian. Immediately, it began to pull on the energies around it, separating them and spinning them like a centrifuge around it. It was like (though Koz did not know it) witnessing the beginning of a solar system, from the very start. The sun of soul energy was exerting pressure on the things around it.
First, it pressured the fire energy, and soon, it shrunk into a red liquid ball of power that circled around his dantian with a very specific speed and frequency. Why such specificity, Koz thought? Maybe it has to do with the property of fire qi. Then again, it was all inner qi anyways, so why did it move so specifically? He noted that the size of the fire "planet" if you will, was far lesser than the sun. This was all well and good, he thought to himself. It is as it should be.
Then, he realized something. The earth sphere, which was only just now forming into a brown liquid sphere in an orbit slightly beyond the fire sphere had begun its cycle. He realized now that between the two systems, the earth attribute system and the fire attribute system, he had created some kind of synchronization. What did this mean? Hmm.... perhaps the spiritual pressures of the two systems were going to do something strange later. Something profound, indeed, just like the ratio of their rotations around his soul sun. Such profundity was something that sect members like him meditated upon and tried to understand as best they could. After all, human comprehension could only go so far.
What was interesting was that in Koz's mind, something "popped up". He now knew that these two elemental systems composed one part of his dantian, and that more outer rings as part of different systems would appear in a few seconds. In a few moments, his thoughts came to fruition. A dark black sphere, very small. This represented his yin chakra. All that was dark, cold, transient... this was under yin qi, the dark spiritual energy. He couldn't quite think of any applications for this as of yet, but he was sure there were some truly powerful ones.
There was another one, about as large, that was white. This was yang chakra, the bright and lively one, an excited system indeed. He really couldn't think of applications for these, but he noted that the two systems, yin qi and yang qi, spun around each other as they orbited, constantly forming a cycle. Now that.... that was profound. A dual plantary system of elemental attributes... he would definitely have to find a use for this in the future. Maybe he would ask his teacher to guide him, if she would.
Hmm... with that, most of the energy had been compressed. What was left was undeveloped as of yet. Maybe, he'd become a legendary tri element magister! He knew that Li Xuan could use at least three, and had a powerful soul. Maybe one day, he could reach that level too. No, he knew he could. After all, with 100th Jie saint innate talent, where could he go wrong? With diligent cultivation and enough practice, who knew what he could do? A 100th Jie saint had not been seen in the world for quite a long time.
Opening his eyes, he inhaled, then exhaled, and finished his meditation. Standing up, his lips would seem to form a very small smile, while his eyes sparkled with happiness.
"Ah, teacher. I have been able to isolate the elemental systems within my danti-.... er, chakra center." He tried to use ninja terms as best he could. "It seems I possess a primary earth system, and a secondary fire system that is around a layer weaker. With some cultivation, though, I'm sure that I can improve it." Now that he was able to focus more on the task at hand, cultivating the gentle fist began to go faster.
"However, there are also yin and yang systems. What am I to do with these?"

Now that he was able to focus more on the task at hand, cultivating the gentle fist began to go faster.
"However, there are also yin and yang systems. What am I to do with these?"

Re: Sunlight Meditation [Kiranomo]

As he looked up to speak to her the boy would notice for a few moments the effects of her sage mode.... Since i went into a bit of detail to show off and the jerk didn't even acknowledge the cool elven effects that I described cuz he's rude and not very nice. As he spoke her form would be slowly returning, the power of the Fae slowing the change back... mostly for dramatic effect.
"I'm still unsure what simply going into Sage mode for a moment did unless you were simply trying to show off for your new student Kira." Amber had taken a seat on the ground, the cool earth giving way to her form slightly as she found a comfortable position. Before her say Selene, both now with legs crossed eyes staring into one anothers and hands up and together palm to palm pressing their thumbs against their chest. It reminded her a bit of when they were in school playing hand clapping games like miss mary mack, though she was certain it was their own style of concentration and not the preparation for an obnoxious string of claps to rhythmic words. Each placed their hands one on top of the other, Ambers right on Selene's lef just close enough that they did not quite touch, and visa versa with Selenes right atop Ambers left. Eyes closed they began again to draw in the power of the Faewilds, their bodies begining to glow with Bright green energy.
"Alright. Well it looks like they're getting a stronger draw from the Fae. That's good. " At this point it would register that the boy had spoken to her, her gaze shifting over to him as she formed a few hand seals. It would be quite clear that she was half off in her own world just as kozai had, partially because of the disconnected look, her eyes not quite meeting his even as she began to talk, and partially because she would be forming the same hand seals in different combinations over and over. ""earth and fire. Those are pretty good elements. I have both if it's useful.... Though I would expect you plan to specialize in taijutsu so I cant actually teach you anything much. I can assist by way of sparring or working through forms of course if needed."
Her calculating mind broke down the problem in triplicate, separating each part to consider them fully. Thankfully her training within this realm had taught her a few tricks. One of the fundamental abilities she'd gained from the demon of chance was a higher level thinking technique integral to the use of magic. She wasn't really sure... When, though it could be easily attributed to their connection, latent ability that was meant simply to make the transition from who she was into Kira as a place holder activated by the hell's angel herself over time. It was almost as if she could hear an old teacher speaking to her as she'd once spoken to Amber, explaining the process needed to hold complex spells together simultaneously, and she realized this was probably the same ability that allowed her such great control over shadow. She'd found ability to keep her chakra shifting and turning in multiple directions, Both the yang necessary for her shadow manipulation and Suiton chakra moving through her body close enough to be molded in large quantities, but without the worry of them coming together to muddle up what she was doing. With this strength she would often manipulate the cloak of shadows to her whim while preparing and using powerful suiton finishers, granting a perfect balance of offense and defence. It made sense looking back that this method would be the primary reason behind such powerful control over ninjutsu, but she'd simply assumed it was born of necessity.
half tiger, Dragon confrontation clap. Half tiger, dragon, confrontation, clap. Full tiger Confrontation clap, Half tiger dragon clap, Over and over she'd shift the seals, learning as she molded exactly waht point in the order each did with the chakra forming quickly in her chest. She found the flames rose up powerfully as she clapped each time, not noticing the irony of her previous though process about Amber and Selene. With each time through the sequence she studied both internally and through the power of her sharingan eyes the exactly shifts in the pool of chakra each seal did, taking into account the way shifting the order slightly would raise or lower the potency of her preparation. She was getting closer but not quite there yet. "I actually happen to be working on some fire style now" Kira would seem to speak to no one in particular though context suggested she was offering support to the young hyuuga boy. her breath became labored by the task, both in the constant movement and shifting of her chakra and in keeping her thoughts clear between three separate tasks.
"Kira," Amber began, her concentration breaking. There was a small pool of strange colored chakra flowing between her and her weapon's hands, though at this point it would seem slightly less of an odity. It was colored like most things in the fae and ressonating with mixed energies that to the untrained would seem as if they could explode at any time. "You need to slow down a bit. You aren't quite as used to using split consciousness the way I do. It's incredibly taxing on the mind and remember you still aren't quite fully recovered."

It was at that point that Koz noticed the effects of.... err, was this the sage mode that she had been talking about? He was not sure exactly what it involved, but he knew full well that it involved collecting some kind of energy. What it was, as of yet, he did not know. Was it some kind of energy from this specific realm? If so, what use did it have in combat? It was worth noticing here that the effects of this sage mode on his teacher's body were quite interesting, but not alluring to Koz. As it was, he was trying his best to stay in a unification state, so all he noticed was that it was "different".
This unification state wasn't far from putting himself in the mindset of many of the modern world's academics. Having little to no emotion, and recognizing only that which was fact. Maintaining courtesy, while keeping one's cool and not backing down from situations. Looking powerful while not actually showing any power, whether it was weak or strong. Being one and moving with nature. This was the way of the sect... and the way of cultivation in general, was it not? Koz remembered speaking to Elder Li Xuan, and learning how to put one's mind in the state of unification. It had been a valuable lesson that he had used often from that point onward.
Earth and fire... were these really "good elements"? Were these two any better than the others at all? Or were they just two of five, a part of a cycle? He mulled a bit, then noted that his teacher had still not finished. He kept his attention open, while the other, smaller part of his mind meditated on the gentle fist. To strike at the meridians.... but most importantly, to strike at the dantian and the pressure points. This was the internal taijutsu style of the hyuuga clan.
Wait... didn't everybody train in Taijutsu first? He knew that in the sect, body motion and martial arts were the greatest of skills. Encompassing Dan, Void Tearing, Yin and Yang realm, these were all highly respected martial arts levels that he, too, wanted to reach someday. He remembered the story about that old man who had reached the Void Tearing realm and had broken into a Divine Spirit Realm using his sheer physical strength. How powerful! And most of all, how profound.
It was good to know, though, that his teacher was not even satisfied with her own skill and was working to improve it. After all, complacency was death in the cultivation world, and strength and movement were life.
"Very well, then..." he said. "Perhaps the qi here will respond even better than it has if I, too, also cultivate my fire element." The fire attribute was quite a fearsome one, and he had to make sure that his foundation was ready, lest he burst into flames at the crucial moment of breakthrough. That wouldn't be good at all.
This being said, he returned to meditation and envisioned his dantian once again...

"Yea yea, something about not trusting me to use a power well beyond my understanding. " Her tone was defiant as she continued, forming a pool of fire chakra in her chest that would swell and burn, summoning a string of seat beads that would run slowly down her forehead. She felt fatigued after such a short period of time. This worried her.
"Kira. I warned you once. You dont have the strength still to split consciousness like this. I can do it solely because of years of intense practice in the magical arts...... " Amber watched the girl as her stance waivered slightly. She knew the girl wouldn't listen but it was a back and forth that needed to be held. She remembered too well when she was a young girl, a first time witch to be exact, working on the ability to split concentration. the worst thing, she'd noted in her youth, was the impact. Even unconscous the impact left streaks of pain running through your body for days. She simply prayed that Kira's body was more physically trained then hers was at the time, allowing her to handle it more effectively.
"Good. Anything you need assistance with. I'm currently working on a particularly scary Fire style jutsu myself so if it's molding the chakra I'm glad...." She paused, wincing as it felt like a shot go up her spine. Her body was reacting strangely. She was thankful for the skills she'd learned recently. before the girl would have simply tried to push through the strange effects, completely unaware of the particulars. Now however with her extensive training in medical arts she could more easily recognize the symptoms and diagnose them. She, however did not. The edge of her vision began to turn black as she felt the haze fill her senses. This was about the point when she realized keep pushing wasn't the best plan. Her knees shifted and almost buckled several times as she pushed against the inevitable. The strain was proving to be too much far too quickly.
"She's going to drop" Selene said matter of factly, her tone as it always was, nearly completely devoid of emotion. She could feel though their connection to one another that the girl's chakra was waning quickly, bringing her to the edge of onconsciousness however there wasn't actually much that she could do about it. Instead she would double her efforts in working with the power known as Sage mode, and pull the unlimited resource from the air around her. As the pair felt their connection strengthen Subtle changes would begin. Small patches of the skin along their arms and necks would darken, almost seeming to yellow in large blotches running up their bodies. The tips of each of their ears were begining to grow slowly, pointing upward as if they wished to intersect at a point.
"Leave her be. This will be the first time succumbing to the split. She'll learn quickly that she cant ignore the strength of her body to take in more then what she could handle unless our existence was within her mind. I consider this quite the learning experience." KIra dropped immediately after Amber's words, her knees hitting the soft earth like a freight train, leaving large divots where she'd landed. Her palms slapped against the earth as her eyes rolled back into her head, but the colision had done it's work. Instead of her body falling limply to the ground, face down in the Faewild grass, The world would come back into focus. her eyes which had shifted from red partially back to blue refocused, the strength of the doujutsu implanted in her becoming crystal clear once more. Her fingertips dug into the soil, her skin growing black as the sediment soiled her skin. This brought a look of surprise to the Demon of Chance's face.
"I've underestimated her. Seems theres more of me in that girl then i'd given her credit for."
"I wont fall. Not again. " Pushing herself up she'd begin once more to stand, her knees quacking at the stress. Shaking the confusion from her still half asleep brain she'd refocus her efforts, facilitating the shift in concentration once more before turning her attention to the boy. "Now. What can I do to assist you."
