Mission

It was that time of the day for yet another mission involving the two starstruck lovers from district twelve— I mean Konoha. Oh, and apparently the bat shit crazy lady was going to be joining them along as well. Queen awoke from her slumber around nine in the morning before eating a nutritious breakfast and heading off to complete the day’s mission. She began to wonder who in hell would she have to defeat in order to stop doing these idiotic missions. Her talents were being put to rest, especially on a mission like the one she was sent on today. She was strong, but she wasn’t sure if she was ‘punch down a tree’ strong. Though, she supposed she’d just sit back and watch Jace handle the situation with his fire jutsu. What about the other girl you ask? She’d probably just be yelling at the squirrels or something.

Reaching the the gates, Queen could see the large tree that began to overhand the wall that protected the village. It could have very well become problematic if it wasn’t taken cared of and so, the Genin were here to save the day! The blonde would wait patiently for a few moment to see if her teammates would arrive before proceeding.

Maloren awoke that morning and, after eating a quick breakfast and grabbing his gear, ran out the door toward the village gates. There was apparently a tree that needed to be taken down before it grew to be a possible breach in village security. This would be interesting considering poking things with chakra didn't really lend itself to uprooting trees. He supposed he might be able to use rotation a few times to tear into it. Or maybe Vacuum Palm would be strong enough to force it down? He'd have to wait and see. He arrived at the gates to see a young lilac eyed girl with long blonde hair staring at the what he assumed was the tree that needed to be dealt with. He looked over and realized they must be on the same mission. He bowed his head in greeting "Hello, I'm Maloren Hyuuga. I do believe we share the mission to take down that tree do we not?" He asked a she brought his head back up and made eye contact. He would admit she was a pretty girl, certainly pretty enough to bring a small blush to his face. However he was in mission mode, even if it was a simple D rank mission.

It was once again time for Jace and his would be lover to accomplish another mission together in the name of Konoha! Mind you, it was only a simple D rank mission, but they were together on it and to Jace thats what mattered. Getting out of his bed, Jace would go through his usual morning routine which consisted of showering, brushing his teeth, getting his clothes and gear on, and scarfing down a big breakfast made by his mother. Kira was a beautiful woman of 34 with brilliant green eyes the same shade as Jace's and long auburn hair that hung past her shoulders. She was quite slender, but her body obviously had the signs of hard muscle given to her by her hard work as a Chuunin of the village. To Jace, she was one of the most kind and caring people he would ever know. When Jace had finished scarfing down his last piece of bacon, having already finished the eggs and toast on his plate, Kira spoke up before the young Uchiha could make his way out the door.

"Have a nice time today sweetie. You're completing a mission in the village with that pretty girl you like, right?" Harmless words from a caring mother. She seemed to always know what Jace was thinking or how he was feeling. He hadn't said much about Queen to his mother, but it was obvious from the way he talked about her that he had an ever growing crush on the girl. 

"Moooooooom." the boy responded in typical fashion of a kid trying to avoid a question from their parent(s). After a short pause and a smile from his mother, Jace would finally add on to the information before walking out the door. "....Yes. I'll see you later. I love you." Once outside, the boy took off toward the gates. He was supposed to be helping Queen and another Genin to take down a large tree that was beginning to be a problem for the village. When he arrived, he saw the pretty blonde already there waiting for him and another boy whom he didn't recognize. Jace assumed that he was the third member of their team for today. He introduced himself quickly and would suggest using his fire style to weaken the tree and help to get it knocked away from the gates. He would then wait for a response before making any other actions.

Being first to arrived seemed to be rather dull as Queen awaited her teammates. Luckily it didn’t take them that long to arrive. Queen greeted the new member of the team with a simple hello right before Jace arrived. Seeing the boy made doing the mission a bit less dull, but nonetheless, it was a pointless mission that was surely going to be taken cared of rather quickly.

Queen listend to Jace’s suggestion of using the fireball technique in order to weaken the tree. The blonde fighter nodded her head in agreement. “Yes. Use your fireball technique in order to weaken it’s structure. Maloren and I will then find a way to knock it down.” The girl spoke with certainty, looking at Malo in hopes that he had a technique that could be used in conjunction with her Daytime Tiger. “Alright boys, let’s get this done quickly. I have a business meeting to attend in half an hour.” The girl quickly placed her hair into a ponytail before walking off towards where the tree was located.

Maloren listened to the conversation and shrugged. Using a fire technique to weaken the tree did make sense. He wished he had a heavier hitting ability than Vacuum Palm or Kaiten, but what he had would have to do. Maybe the lady had a technique that would do the job. He followed her over the to tree, moving quickly as he wanted to get this mission done as well and do some training. He wanted to learn the Mountain Crusher technique later today, and he'd need all the time he could get. He arrived at the tree to see a...tree, a large tree of course. It was well over the village walls, with a few large branches extending over the wall, an easy entrance for anyone not supposed to be there. He shrugged his shoulders and looked at the base of the tree. It was about ten meters around, giving it a good sturdy base, and twenty meters high. They'd have to focus their attacks on the base of the tree if it were to work. The fireball jutsu would of course help, but otherwise they'd need something massively destructive. Which he sadly, did not possess. The Hyuuga were much more on speed and finesse in assaults than brute strength. Which didn't lend itself to this mission. His best chance would be the Vaccum Palm. It had the most brute strength out of all of his techniques. He sighed internally at this, he would need to learn something big and destructive for situations like this.

Jace listened as the blonde and the other boy had agreed to his suggestion. It would be a fairly simple thing to just use his fire style to weaken the base of the tree and then have Queen knock it down the remainder of the way using her taijutsu. He didn't know exactly what the other boy could bring to the table but Jace was sure whatever it was would indeed lend itself to the way of getting rid of the overly large tree that was to be their target. It wasn't long before the Uchiha followed the other two down to the base of the tree and began preparing to obliterate the 'threat' to the village. He looked around at his teammates and the rest of the area to make sure he had a clear path for his jutsu without causing any harm or injury to the surrounding area or passing bystanders. Luckily, the area around the tree. After a few moments of brief silence, Jace began to get to work. He would take in a deep breath as he began to mold his fire element chakra within his chest. This was the basis for any fire elemental jutsu, of course. After creating a few short hand seals, Jace would expel his pent up breath, exhaling what seemed to be a massive fireball from his mouth as he did so. The fire technique made its way quickly across the short 5 meter distance between Jace and his target before quickly incinerating a little over half of the base of the tree where the boy had aimed his technique at. He watched as the tree blackened and caught fire, the immense flames eating away slowly at the overly large tree that was deemed to be a threat to the village. Honestly it could have been used to easily get over the village walls. It was a good thing Jace and the other two were here to prevent that. When the flames had finally smoldered and died, the Uchiha would turn to his would be lover and simply say the words "looks like you're up" before backing away to give the girl room to work her magic. If he was lucky, she would use the same technique that had put him in the hospital not tooong ago. As soon as the tree was down and the mission was complete Jace would say goodbye to Queen and the Hyuuga and go back into the village to the book store.

Queen watched as Jace began to burn the base of the tree. Their plan had now commenced. It took a moment for the flames to die out but eventually, they had. not wasting any time, Queen positioned herself so that when she used her technique, it would cause the tree to fall away from the village and not at it in order to prevent it from damaging the wall. Once in position and her teammated were out of harm’s way, Queen formed the distinct hand seal before a large amount of pressurized air begun to form. Rei slapped the back of her hand, causing the air to push forward. The strong air current blew at the tree and it didn’t take long for it to completely timber over like the titanic. It would have taken place even quicker if Malo joined her and used a technique to push down the tree.

Once the large chunk of wood hit the ground, the vibrations would have been felt though nearly half the village. It didn’t help the Queen’s technique also destroyed another dozen trees in the nearby area. It wasn’t her fault she was so damn powerful. “Mission accomplished. Same time next week?” Queen asked as she started to make her way back to the village. It seemed to be a routine now where they kept getting assigned missions together. Hopefully the next one would be something more challenging.

Since Queen needed to waste a little more time for the mission to be satisfactory to the higher ups, She began to walk through the village. She stopped by the flower shop, bought some high end furniture, and even adopted a kitten, all before she got to her business meeting. It was a rather productive day if she did say so herself.

Maloren would watch as the Uchiha drew in a deep breath with the intent to burn into the tree to make it easier for them to knock over. He observed the damage the fireball caused and nodded his head in appreciation of the damage. He then moved over to where Queen had gone and stood a bit to her left. This position gave her plenty of room to use whatever technique she would use as well as allow him to use his one. He cracked his neck and settled into his gentle fist stance as she formed a handseal he'd never seen before. He then began to channel chakra into his palms and compress it into a bullet form. His intent was to use his clans Vacuum Palm technique, it should do enough damage alone to knock the tree down if he fired one from each hand. He shaped the chakra and felt a huge amount of pressurized air next to him. He looked over and saw Queen creating what appeared to be a large tiger and he knew she could've soloed this mission herself for the easy Ryo. He shook his head with a grin before firing both vacuum palms into the technique she used, giving it a bit of a push. The two techniques would slam into the tree and not only destroy it, but a few dozen in the area. He fought down a chuckle at the site. He knew full well her technique had been the one to do the real work. Which he had no qualms against. It was easy money, easier than most D ranks even. He turned toward the village and left to go train. He was nowhere near happy with his current level of strength.
