Ain't no storm barriers high enough [P]

This process had been drilled into Takeo's mind by now. A left here. Up the stairs, turn left again. Walk down the corridor, the usual. The place hadn't changed much, save for some new faces walking around the building. Either the old workers quit or Xyxer killed them. Most likely both. As per usual Takeo didn't waste time with the receptionist, if there even was one. When it came to meeting Xyxer it was best to just go in and get out as quickly as possible. Today was no different. Arriving at the door to the office Takeo knocked once, then kicked the door in. Or rather he opened it like a normal human being. "Yo." He called out his usual greeting, hand raised as he strolled into the room.

Naturally he expected Xyxer to be sat there. If it were an empty room it would be awful awkward, but no one would be around to see it. So it didn't matter all that much.

Alas, it was that time once more. Reports of Takeo entering the village had circulated through the watch posts with the ANBU. So it seemed that when Takeo entered the building, both Wraith and Jester were informed via their ANBU seals. Taking a few seconds to process the information, Jester informed Xyxer on his brother's imminent arrival. Preparing himself best he could, he simply stacked his papers together and pushed them towards one side of the desk. Once the door opened, and the familiar, although.. incredibly much more homoerotic, Takeo walked through, Xyxer offered a faint smile. "What brings you to this part of the world, Takeo?"

Takeo's eyes scanned the room over. It seemed Xyxer had made the effort today, the papers on his desk weren't cluttered about. Walking across the room, he made his way over to the windows. Resting back against the windowsill his arms folded he responded. "Not much, just checking in on my baby brother." Referring to Xyxer as such brought him some amusement, Takeo doubted that it would get old any time soon. "Surprising to see that the village still has actual villagers in it mind you. I'd have thought they'd have either left or been killed off." He commented, sparing a glance to the outside world for a moment. "How ya been?" Takeo questioned, flipping open a small case that contained three pills. Picking up one, he tossed it into his mouth. With a grimace he swallowed the pill. "Disgusting." He commented.

His brother was a pill junkie. Typical. The Psychopath and the Drug Addict. Interesting duo.. perhaps he'd have to license that name at another point in time. Shrugging his shoulders a little, he spun around on the chair so that he could face the male leaning on the glass. "A fair amount have died, as is normal when preparing for war. Children are a lot more difficult to turn into effective killers than I previously believed." He frowned a little when he spoke, shaking his head. "I thought it'd be as simple as to take their juice box from them and refuse to sing them lullabies. Strange world. Other than that, I've been fine. Wondering about wandering myself.. and Hoshigakure, how is that place?"

Snorting in amusement at the response from Xyxer, Takeo shifted his weight about to get more comfortable. "You must be doing it wrong then, obviously you have no people skills so that doesn't help." He would comment dryly. "Give them something to kill for, and they will kill. It's simple." Takeo of course glossed over the mention of preparing for war. He had no interest in it himself, deciding that it would be unlikely he would participate in his brother's warmongering. The question that followed in response was met with silence to begin with. Takeo thinking over his brief stay in the village. "Boring." He would say after several seconds of silence, "It's a tourist trap, lacks shinobi presence. Lot of religious people strollin' around there though. All in all, it was pretty crappy."

Pausing for a brief moment, he spun the case around in the grasp of his thumb and index finger as he thought. "So did ya visit your new found family, or have you not gone yet." Takeo himself had not visited them in some time, honestly sometimes he forgot that they even existed to begin with.

Were their lives not something to kill for? The threat on lives had been monumental back in his days as an ANBU. It was how he had controlled so many people to act on his behalf, to further his goals.. but it did not count now. Had he grown soft in this position of comfort? However, something Takeo had said piqued the interest of Xyxer.. he returned back to the room, looking towards him once more, "Hoshigakure lacks formidable Shinobi?" He paused for a second, a slight smile slipping across his features. Once the next topic rolled around, he answered truthfully, "I fear what may happen. I'm not good with handling.. foreign situations. At least, not physically." He shrugged a little at the end.

Takeo rolled his eyes at the reaction to his answer. "You have the worst poker face I've ever seen." He shook his head. "It's a waste of resources to go for it." He'd point out, before smirking at the response about seeing his family. "Idiot. All ya need to do is just knock on the door and say hi. Let's go do it now." And with that, Takeo leant backwards fully. Putting pressure on the window forced it to flip open, Takeo sliding out backwards and flipping out of the room.

A short descent downwards and Takeo landed on his feet with the grace of trained gymnast. With that he'd turn and begin to walk off, heading towards where he knew his families home to be. It didn't matter if Xyxer followed or not honestly, he'd just go visit without him. And then rat him out to them later for his own amusement. Now if Xyxer did come along, then that was great and all. But it didn't matter.

Now of course, this did matter a huge amount to Takeo who was trying to play it off, but we all know it would pierce his heart if Xyxer refused to lend him back up in such a situation. So it was that Xyxer simply stood from his seated position and walked down the side of the building, activating chakra in his feet so he didn't fall like some non shinobi pleb. Walking beside Takeo, he simply hummed a faint tune. After all, there was not much to do when on your way to death row.

Naturally Xyxer wasn't as cool as Takeo, and just walked down the side of the building. Takeo felt slightly disappointed, but he understood. He was aware that Xyxer knew he couldn't compete on the coolness level with Takeo, so he didn't bother. Slowing slightly to allow the younger of the twins to catch up he began to talk. "So, meeting family is quite simple really." He began, turning the corner and walking down the road. "You smile, you do not threaten to kill them. Oh, and let your sisters do whatever otherwise mother will be pissed at you. Basic stuff like that." Of course Takeo didn't expect Xyxer to listen to any of that, simply because he was Xyxer. Turning yet another corner he arrived on the road in which the house was located. Strolling on up to the door, he glanced to Xyxer for a moment. He paused, as if wondering if this was a good idea or not, before opening the door and strolling on it. "Meh, what's the worst that could happen."

For some reason, rain had started pattering in Kirigakure. The heavens themselves were displeased with the acts that had unfolded as Xyxer and co. stood within the main cemetery of the island. Others were using umbrellas to protect themselves from the elements, but Xyxer embraced the water due to his Hozuki affinity. The casket was slowly being lowered into the pit that was dug and he observed with a certain calmness.. perhaps meeting family wasn't bad after all.
