Helping the Elderly
Ryuzaki wandered through the village towards the main complex where he had been summoned to receive his first mission. Usual he was a chirpy fellow but after hearing from the other genin the type of missions they received his persona had become downtrodden. He had hoped he would be able to raid his father store for useful items for any missions he received, but his mind told him this would not be the case today.
Entering the shinobi complex Ryuzaki stopped for a second to take in the massive structure, he had been here several times since entering the academy but it still made him feel in awe. He made his way up the stairs to the meeting room where a council of elders doled out the missions, from e to s rank, or so he assumed. Ryuzaki rasped the door with the back of his hand, after a few seconds he entered after hearing someone inside call him. Ryuzaki walked into the centre of the room, standing in front of a semi-circular desk where three people sat. As far as he could make out only one of the people in front of him was a ninja, although the other two could well have been in their heyday.
“Genin Hotaru, Ryuzaki?” Began the elderly man in the middle, after a bow form Ryuzaki the elderly man continued “We have received a request from one of the elderly village citizens, he would like you to go to his house and help him clear out his garden” The elderly man removed his glasses and sat them down on the table in front of him and started to write on some parchment “Apparently it has become quite a mess over the years” As he finished he held the scroll in front of him out towards Ryuzaki. With a spring in his step Ryuzaki came forward to collect the scroll, bow to the council and then proceeded to leave the meeting room.
Ryuzaki was not sure about the other genin but he for one enjoyed helping other people out, and to be payed for it and advance his career was just a bonus. The scroll he had been handed noted the location of the man’s house and his name. After getting lost several times and asking other villagers for directions Ryuzaki arrived at the man’s house, and it was stunning. Not only did Ryuzaki imagine it had a huge garden but it also seemed to have several streams running through it at various points. Ryuzaki’s happiness did not wain, in his eyes all this meant is he would have to work harder for longer and it might actually benefit him physically.
Ryuzaki entered through the front archway that had a gate, but was open. He was immediately greeted by two medium sized dogs who ran at him, this made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up initially, but he soon realized they could not of been more friendly. The dogs started to run around him in circles and jump at him in excitement. After a few seconds the door to the main house slid inwards and the elderly man hobbled out, a walking stick eternally stuck out in front of him and a huge smile on his face. “Hello young one!” his eyes did not appear to open “Are you here to do my gardening?” Ryuzaki stepped to the side and the dogs followed behind him intently, when he looked up he realized the old man was not looking in his direction anymore, he bowed as he was taught when addressing his elders “Yes Sir!” As soon as he spoke the elderly man shifted his face towards him. The penny finally dropped, Ryuzaki had not been sent because the man was physically incapable of clearing his own garden, but did not have the eyes to adequately complete the task.
“This way young man!” The elderly man said as he started to round his house, the dogs in tow and his stick jutting out in front of him. As they entered through a side gate Ryuzaki suddenly became aware of his daunting task. The garden was big, but the accumulated scrap that was there was unbelievable. “There are several small boats harboured at the dock at the end of the garden for you to load the garbage into young man!” He turned round and started to walk back into the house “I'll go and get us some refreshments while you make a start!”
Ryuzaki rolled up his sleeves and then clapped his hands together and took in a deep breathe “Yosh!” He took off in a hurry grabbing everything he could see was loose and charging it up towards the dock at the end of the garden. He repeated this trip multiple times until all the loose wood and bits of metal had been loaded into the barges that were moored at the end of the garden in the largest stream that ran through the garden. Next Ryuzaki began to bag up the smaller pieces of wood and metal into black bags and load them into a wheelbarrow, when the wheelbarrow was full he would charge up the garden with it, occasionally with a loud cheer egging himself on. After about an hour of work the old man came out with a plethora of drinks and food, which they both partook in quick fashion, occasionally the dogs would help Ryuzaki out by dragging bags up the garden, they were extremely well trained, matched only by their enthusiasm.
After several more hours Ryuzaki has finally completed the task and the garden was back to its tropical nature and looking beautiful. Ryuzaki had another meal with the old man and he was very thankful for his help. Once Ryuzaki had left the house he made his way back to the complex where he received the mission from the elders to report its completion and the happy customer they had gained. After receiving his reward he then began home, a huge grin across his face, he sure did enjoy helping others who needed it.

It's awesome to see you started on mission but when doing missions, please add mission specs in a spoiler before you start your narration so we can check which mission you're doing and what rewards you're claiming for it. <3
