[Training] The Dream Team (Invite Only)

Shika's fingers were clenched around the rim of the gazebo's roof, and her body hung below, swaying gently with the breeze. The muscles in her forearms and shoulders suddenly tensed. With a mighty heave, she pulled herself on to the top of the structure. For a while, she sat there in silence, crouched upon the gazebo's pinnacle. Then, just as suddenly, she ran forwards and leapt off, tucking her shoulders into a roll that took the brunt of her fall.

She spat a strand of orange hair from her mouth and stood up. Shika stretched her back with a barely audible crack, and wondered in silence if there was anything productive she should be doing.

Crappy Topic Starter no Jutsu!

Koga was running outside preparing his stamina for massive gains when he heard some impact on the floor and ran to see what was going on. Upon his gaze was Shika, a person he'd not seen in awhile. He thought he'd have some fun with her, as he was tired of being alone.

"You're not going to get stronger doing nothing, are ya?" Koga, Shika's long time team mate ran up excited to see her again. Koga had just re-begun to grab a swing of things after suffering intense healing from long untreated injuries. He looked up and down Shika and tried to pretend like he didn't just check her out. "um you up for some training or something?"

Koga had trained a bit in his own solitude and even though Arashi had become a complete powerhouse in the time, Koga wasn't all the way weak either. He had some decent moves that took him awhile to learn. As while as a few tai moves he picked up along the way. He flexed his bicep as he stretched back. "Now let's see those moves,girl, I promise no tricks." He winked at Shika and made the "come here" motion that most spars tend to start off with.

Upon seeing her teammate, Shika immediately perked up. I haven't seen him in some time. I wonder what happened. She immediately straightened her posture, unconsciously dusting off scattered bits of dirt and gravel from her clothing. A smile came to her face, but unlike those that she gave to those she met around the village or those in the academy, this one was genuine.

"Hey, Koga!" she called back. "It's been a while, huh? I've done a few things with my elemental affinity, but I've only done a little bit of taijutsu." scratching the back of her neck, she gave him a thumbs up. She let her smile widen as a small blush came to her face. Getting into a ready stance, one that was flexible yet slightly taut towards her calves and feet, she prepared to spring into action. "Let's dance!" replied to his offer, and by unspoken consensus, she began.

She started by using the Taijutsu style body flicker, seeming to disappear into a blur of speed at a speed of eighty before fading back in a meter behind Koga. She launched a vicious sweeping kick at his knees, using the torque from her momentum to her advantage and using her left hand, placed firmly on the ground below, as a point of balance.

As soon as he enticed her, she began without hesitation into a spar. Koga wasn't amazing at spars but he figured he would play along for her. In all his training done in solitude he hadn't learned much except that he had to hold back anger. Yet, in a fight with a friend, there wasn't much anger floating around so he felt he might be safe. "Woah! frisky are we?" Upon Shika's immediate disappearing act, he knew he didn't have any time to react. Koga jumped straight up in the air at his highest as a defense mechanism. With a bird's eye view of the world he would be able to use a counter attack, so he jumped as high as he could hoping Shika would stay to the ground. Body flicker is indeed an amazing jutsu of high speed, but in reaction time a straight up jump is unpredictable. 

Shika was amazingly skilled in combat Koga thought, still with her frame, she seemed fragile. He had to remember that this was just a spar, and not a matter of life and death. Not to go easy on her, but not get crazy because one of the two could seriously get hurt. While jumping into the air he put a wide smile as he tried to get away. Her attacks could do serious damage if hit. Koga was like a glass cannon when he gets in the zone, a lot of damage can come out of him, but at the same time he could break like nothing. He had to be extremely careful.

He jumped immediately before her kick was launched. Shika didn't mind; it was awfully hard to maneuver properly in the air. Bringing her sweep kick down and immediately clambering back to her feet, she aimed a separate, snapping sideways kick at his form in the air. The kick went a few inches above her head, and at the height of 5'10", it easily passed the six foot mark. 

Immediately afterwards, she took a few steps back so that Koga wouldn't land on her. Even with her high speed and strength, her durability was pitifully low. Sinking into a solid horse stance as opposed to her capoeira-esque attacks from before, she prepared to counter attacks that her teammate might throw her way. "So, how've you been?" Shika asked, attempting to make conversation as the two sparred. She thought a bit more of her friend, and an idea wormed its way into her head. A light blush came to her face as she opened her mouth again. "Hey Koga, after this..." she trailed off for a moment. "Wanna get lunch or something?"

Koga couldn't block her kick as it was coming fast enough, given Shika's physical prowess. Since he was still recovering from previous implications, it made it even more so hard to block or even get away from it. 

He thought it best to use one of the oldest tricks in the book. Tiger seal, Boar seal, Ox seal, Dog seal, and snake seal. Suddenly upon trying to hit the last seal, Shika kicked Koga. Her kick hit him right in the face knocking him down to the ground. He fell straight down like a doll towards Shika before she moved out of the way. 

Koga fell straight to the ground with a hard thump, and he lay still, appearing severely injured as he wouldn't get up. His body lay face down in a small fetal position, completely still as he lay staring at the floor. His jacket falling over his face.

When all of a sudden a large poof of smoke overcame Koga to reveal a wooden log laying on the floor under his jacket. "Lunch? Only if I don't die by you first" Koga said appearing right behind Shika as he thought she was possibly distracted by his jutsu. Koga liked Shika and that much was obvious but in a battle emotions and affection play no part, he had to use whatever was necessary.

Koga jumped slightly in the air at an intense speed and with his strength he threw a fast and strong high kick towards Shika's head, not sure if it would hit or not. "Leaf Whirlwind!" His speed and strength both increasing by 15 during the attack, making Koga a forceful blur

Her eyes widened as she heard Koga's voice behind her. The log wearing his coat lay innocuously on the floor, and Shika found herself nodding. Not bad. He pulled one over on me. She whipped around to see him flying towards her, a strong kick aimed at her head. Instinctively, chakra bled into her eyes with the feeling of cool water, and the world snapped into radiant color and focus. Her doujutsu- the Sharingan- shone red as she began to see the blurry chakra of the world around her. Koga's was especially vibrant.

She threw her left arm upwards, attempting to catch his ankle with her hand. The two stood in this awkward position for but a moment, before she spoke up. "If you're fighting an opponent who's faster than you are, it's not a good idea to throw kicks above the waistline. This is especially true if you're a guy..." she gave him a shrug. "...After all, it leaves your groin area exposed." Deciding that she didn't want to kick her friend where the sun didn't shine in retaliation, she merely shoved his foot in an attempt to throw him off balance. She cut off the flow of chakra to her eyes and pulled a bag of marshmallows from her weapons pouch. She threw one at Koga's head before throwing a couple in her mouth. Closing the pouch after putting the bag back in, she stretched a bit before sinking back into a ready stance.
