Hello (closed, nomo)

Orokana looked around. seeing people red faced, and flirting with women. he studied them. wanting either companionship or sex, maybe both. but most people don't really want to talk to nomo, he didn't know why. either it was the mood she had about her, or they knew her. what ever it was he didn't care deeply about it. then Orokana ordered a drink. at first it was just water that he drank quickly, then he ordered sake, hoping nomo wouldn't notice or care. he drank before. he waited for nomo to say something against it. him only being 15. but luck would have him look older.

As the sake hit the table Kira raised a hand to stop the boy. Her eyes suggested this wasn't an acceptable idea, and the shadow that snaked it's way in secret beneath the table to hold his body still emphasized that point ten fold. "Now now Oro. Did you honestly think I'd allow you to drink a sake.... Without giving a toast to one fallen, either in your personal life or otherwise? Please, continue, but pay respect to those who gave their lives so that you could train to become a ninja, then drink. " At the end of her statment the boy would find his ability to move given back, though there was nothing noticable that would explain exactly how she'd done what she had. It was one of those nara tricks of the trade that until necessary she planned to keep to herself.

"Ah yes. Good. I was hoping when you came to sit with us that you'd join in. It's not truely a tribute without participation from each member. " amber nodded, motioning for her own summon to join her. Reluctantly the tiny girl followed, taking a saucer of pale white liquid and waiting for the boy.

"For those who saw end in the great war, and for my children persecuted in laley for following our beliefs." With that, assuming Oro joined, she'd tip up her saucer, a strange green energy flowing from her tiny hands as she began to drink.

Orokana nodded. "to those who died to make the village as it is today." he said before he drank. drinking it slowly. then placing it down. he wiped his face with a napkin. he looked at nomo. then amber. "you must know a lot of people that died. I don't know the pain of seeing an ally killed." he said. Orokana didn't even have a team he felt was a team. plus he never saw someone die before, he can imagine its not something people liked to talk about. but his greedy for knowledge asked anyways. and he poured more sake.

As Orokana finished the small pixie joined in as described, drinking down her dose of bitter spirit and using the power of her faewild magic to reduce the effect it would have. It wouldn't due for her to be smashed beyong belief like her sister. She was after all older then valisera by at least three minutes. With their tribute finished Oro continued convorsation, which Kira was thankful for. The situation at hand had caused her to think through her past, both in the horrors she'd been through and that which she pushed on others. In unison however Kira and amber spoke. "People that have died around us.... Allies we've killed. welcome to life." each looked at the other, sharing in the solidarity of their situation.

Kira knew little of ambers past, though she'd heard of great sins caused by the demon of chance, and seen the three marks of sin on her body, one of which Kira had inherited. Considering what it'd taken for her to gain such a painful symbol of wrong doing she could only dare to imagine what Amber had done before beciming the voice in her head. In times when the two fought tooth and nail against one another this shared pain was the only thing they seemed to be able to agree on.

"Gai. How well are you becoming aquainted with the effects of Laley? I hope you'll be able to enter combat with us soon?" Back to buisiness, kira thought as amber turned her attention to the guardian she'd summoned.

"We should be fully prepared and able within this realm before the night is over, if not sooner. I can already feel the weight of reality releasing my muscles as I enteract with the world around me. "

orokana nodded as they talked. it didnt involve him nor did it involve anything he cared about. he just kept quiet. he then said "i was thinking of how people must have reacted knowing that there son, daughter, wife, husband, friend, died merely a couple hours ago before they knew it. i dont know why people would cry or be very sad. life ends faster then it is made. everyone knows they will die. why be sad when it happens. when someone we see is bad die we are happy, we feel like we have won. why was it so different in a matter of some views or interactions. why remember the dead. they arent anything anymore, they are simply dead, no more thoughts, or feelings."

"Their" The inflection in the boys voice made it clear he'd missused the word there. It was almost reflexive that Kira spoke up to correct the boy, not actually realizing that she'd done it until she was given a disapproving look by the demon of chance.

"Life is always precious. To disregard the importance of life is to meed the fate of the deceased. " Selene took up the slack as a moment of awkward silence followed Kira's correction. It wasn't surprising that the avatar of sorrow would speak up on this. her existence was born of death, her soul tied to the pain of the multiverse, and with it came a very healthy respect for the dance of life and death. "To those given immunity to the pain of death it seems unimportant, but for those of us who live in the realm of pain and lost life it takes on quite a different effect. "

"Selene. While I dont disagree, Please do remember that your opinion on the subject is a bit different then the norm. still, Each life lost or taken is a loss in many ways. The weight of death hangs heavily on the executioner." Amber knew too well the weight of life. She'd taken far more lives in her time in the verse then many could contemplate. At the time she'd considered their lives simply a means to and end, but now each day she felt the pulsing of her weapons effect both in her soul, and through the three marks of sin that plagued her body.

Orokana stood up and sighed. "i will take my leave for the night, nice talking with you guys." he said as he started his walk outside. he was a bit warm, but the outside was a bit cold. he slowly walked to him home. thinking back on what she said. all the events that happened with them. meh. he wouldn't care. people die, people are born, to remember who dies is to remembered who killed who. its best to let it go. The trinity simply nodded, as orokana took his leave, Kira offering the retreating boy a slight smile but the other two not seeming terribly phased. Amber pulled several bits of wood from her bad, handing each of her allies a piece for them to examine and setting a second bit in front of them on the table. "be careful with these as I said, Either way we should probably take this convorsation back to our home." The trio got up, paying the tab for their meal and with Amber holding the small pixie gently in the palm of her hand they'd exit, heading abck to the nara district to plan once more
